WHO IS THE BEST SCARECROW? 

I think Scarecrow from Arkham Asylum is the best. That first scene where batman finds his parent bodies in the morgue was an amazing scene.

Scarecrow has always been vastly underrated...happens when your a member of the best rogues gallery in comics...

I know in the comics is that Scarecrow becomes a Yellow Lantern. I wish they did this plot in a DC animated movie. That would be awesome.

I really hope one day, we can get a Batman movie where Scarecrow is the main villain

Scarecrow is my favorite villain, in fact I love Scarecrows in general. I think the Arkham designs the best, with the Arkham Asylum slightly edging out because of those Freddy Krueger-inspired needle-fingers, plus he seemed to steal the show in Asylum, his moments in the game being legit scary and unsettling. The voice-modulation on both is also one of my favorite features, very creepy. Also, speaking of Krueger, major props to Injustice 2 for getting Robert Englund to voice Scarecrow. He and the TMNT were my mains in that game (though shame on the game for not giving us the needle-fingers).

They actually just rebooted the character in the Batman comics, and his new form is insane. He is incredibly creepy, it's pretty dope.

I think we can all agree that Scarecrow’s costume design from GOTHAM is the best and most-accurate look he’ll probably ever get in live action (he’s got the classic witch hat/scythe, but also the gas mask and glove from the Arkham games)

I don't know if this counts, but the SCARECROW from the Batman Batmobile Arcade game is my favorite.

I actually think it was cool to make Scarecrow more relaxed in Arkham Knight. It made sense given that he loved fear thanks to the power it gave him, and at that point he already used it to gain power over Gotham. It also makes him seem more menacing to me that he was just nonchalant about people being hunted and maimed all over the city thanks to his threat.

I really like this "who's the best x" series, I hope you'll do Riddler next, he's my favorite Batman character

Him being relaxed feels more threatening, which is why nobel’s my favorite, he sounds scary, and dangerous, and it accompanies the appearance perfectly.

I love Scarecrow! He deserves all the love! I hope he's the main villain of a Batman movie in the future.

John Noble is my #1, his voice is so chilling and calm which makes him seem like much more of a threat. Like he always has everything under control and is constantly 2 steps ahead. Wasn't too much of a fan of him being more comical and loud. John is definitely the most scary and threatening scarecrow imo

Poor *Charlie Tahan* , he breaks his butt playing Scarecrow in *Gotham* for seasons 1, 3, and half of season 4 before he has to leave to play in *Ozark* , and his name isn't even mentioned in passing :( What sucks balls is that his replacement for seasons the second half of season 4 & season 5, David W Thompson, looks _EXACTLY_ like young Jonathan Crane from *The New 52* 's flashbacks in his origin story... Seriously, it's uncanny. But poor David had to keep his mask on all the time, so the audience doesn't notice that this isn't Charlie Tahan anymore. Oh well, missed opportunity... ... but at least we will get a brand new Scarecrow in *Titans* season 3, played by Vincent Kartheiser (you know, Connor from *Angel* ?). Can't wait for this season to be there already, between Red Hood, Lady Vic, Tim Drake and Barbara Gordon this is going to be fucking awesome \o/

The scarecrow design for Gotham was just amazing, Top respect to the costume designers and makers and infact to all the character outfits in Gotham (maybe except the proto bat suit)

Scarecrow is so underated it's a crime. He's my favorite batman villain.

Arkham knight was my favorite game because I felt people like enigma had character yes the missions were bat mobile heavy but still I felt character shad a character. Main reason I focus on enigma is because I loved the grimy and makeshift atmosphere that was displayed in that games (also the stuttering in his projectors were perfect for his character)

0:01 I got to say the scarecrow from Batman: Arkham Knight, is definitely the most menacing looking. It looks like the flesh is melting off of his face and he looks more like a zombie. All the previous renditions of scarecrow just look like a man with a burlap sack. I know his fear chemical makes him look more scary tho. i’m glad the Arkham series spiced him up a little bit more to make him look more dreadful and terrifying 😱😱😱😱

I think injustice and arkham knight had my two favorite performances. Neither were really utilized to their fullest but what they brought to the roll was phenomenal

By far my favorite portrayal of scarecrow is injustice 2. His hallucination/scare beast form is superbadass but the mind games he’s able to play dissecting all these players is just fantastic! The only issue is how horribly underused he is on the story Gothams scarecrow shines really well. From using a scythe, to his crooked philosophy and vocal mannerisms, to that badass suit and hell I even got use to his fear puns!

Not in a video game/movie/tv show but the one in the comic Batman/Judge Dread one shot was my favorite. The reinvention and the look was so inspired, esp. drawn by the great Simon Bisley. Was creating his fear drug by taking out an enzyme from corpses.

When it comes to BatmanTAS, personally, I don't think Scarecrow 3.0 was accurate. He looks like a dead body walking around. He doesn't look like a scarecrow at all. He also carries a stick. A STICK!!! Why replace his scythe with a stick? Don't get me wrong, I still liked him, but his appearance just isn't accurate at all for me. I much prefer his previous incarnation.

Your thumbnail says it all! Scarecrow from the first Arkham Asylum, voiced by Dino Andrade. Hands down the absolute best. I think John Noble's voice is monotonous, honestly.

If Jack E. Haley was cast as Scarecrow, he would be the best actor for that role. I will die on that hill. Other casting choices for me are Caleb Landry Jones, James MacAvoy, Bill Nighy, and Richard Brake. I know that Brake was already Joe Chill, but if you've seen him in 31, then you know, in spite of the fact he's playing a spooky evil clown (sounds familiar) he is perfect.

I love the concept of the Scarecrow. I was really disappointed by how his character was utilized in Batman Begins. He was overshadowed by Ras al Ghul (forgive my spelling). In the scene where he talks about working for someone, I had assumed at first that he was pretending to represent the Scarecrow. It sucks he was shoved to the back seat and taken down by Batman so easily.

Asylum is my favorite also. I like how they improved city etc but the setting and story just stuck with me more. Plus scarecrow made me return 2 almost 3 discs thinking my system was fucking up. Yes I fell for it and have no shame admitting it. Lol

I agree, Scarecrow is certainly underrated, honorable mention goes to Dwight Schultz in Happy Halloween Scooby Doo, one of my personal favorite Scarecrow performances aside from Jeffrey Combs (I thought he was very good as Brainiac as well, hell its what made me a fan of the character in the first place four years ago, that incarnation is one of my favorites), John Noble (fun fact Vee John also voiced Brainiac years in Superman Unbound before he did Scarecrow in AK), when you do the next one, can it be about who is the best Brainiac?

For me, it's Arkham Knight Scarecrow. He's easily the best.

My number 1 is Corey Burton in Gotham Knight. His voice is so creepy, his look is terrifying and the story he's in is perfect for the idea of fear. Having him as a cult leader that is fucking with Batman while the Bat is dying of poison, from a fear toxin infected bite from Killer Croc is unnerving and is presented like a living nightmare.

Absolutely agree about Asylum. lt was the best Batman game of series. Now that said, City was the better game. If that makes sense.

I think my number one is a tie between the Arkham Asylum Scarecrow and the original appearance within TAS. I honestly and genuinely can't think of the character without either of those two immediately coming to mind, it also helps that they got the original Scarecrow for DC Universe Online and I played the FUCK out of that game for YEARS.

The thing is, is that joker is lethal no matter what. Scarecrow, on the other hand, is only lethal when he has his fear gas. Also, in the comics, Scarecrow blasted Joker in the face with his fear gas, Joker laughed it off.

I prefer Scarecrow from Injustice 2. Even though it's a relatively small part, Robert Englund knocked it out of the fuckin' park... He is a PERFECT fit, and I would love to see him play a live action Scarecrow! After him, I like Noble from Arkham Knight. I mean... he actually beat "The Bat" when it comes right down to it... forced him to enact "Knightfall Protocol", unmasked him, caused Wayne Manor to explode... Even in losing, Scarecrow still won in AK.

Personally, one of the top 3 things that makes a character like Scarecrow, is the appearance. Arkham Knight and New Adventures each almost had it perfect. Cillian Murphy played it great, but the whole aesthetic with the suit mixed with the burlap was just lazy to me

Alright, I'm really confused. I see a lot of russian subtitles on Vee's channel. I'm russian and I mostly watch English-speaking youtubers, so it's really weird for me to see my native letters from time to time.

Maybe not the Scarecrow specifically, but I really liked the guy who played Gerald Crane in Gotham. He wasn't the Scarecrow itself, but he did an incredible job. But Robert Englund is definently an amazing Scarecrow, and I have no idea how or why it took so long for WB to cast him. Like he was already the Riddler and The Vulture, yet somehow no one bothered putting it together.

I think it would be great to see the VideoGame version of the (ScareCrow) villain; From the (BATMAN: ARKHAM KNIGHT) VideoGame, in a live-action BATMAN movie someday. The reason why is because I label him as the third best version of (SCARECROW) the villain.

I really hate that the remake Freddy Krueger was in MK9 but he wasn't in Injustice 2 despite Robert Englund already apart of the cast. How perfect would that have been.
