i think it's still really sweet that hoshi continues to donate to his hometown Namyanju and his high school, Maseok High. he talked about how he grew up in a working class family and his family got by because the community around him helped him. And I relate to nothing more. When you're poor, nothing means more to you than when the community you're around to help you get back on your feet. He also kept going to Maseok High School even when he moved to Gangnam when he became a trainee under Pledis, even though he had to travel a bit to keep going there. It's sweet that he cares so much for his high school, likely because he didn't have to debut when he was in high school, so his memories there wouldn't have been affected by his stardom. it's likely the last time he got to be a kid and just have fun without stressing about the plethora of things he does now

But Woozi writes and produces all of their songs and also does the same for many other acts. Wouldn’t all those royalties make him the highest earner? Not that it matters; just happy the boys are getting the recognition and popularity they deserve.

Mingyu and wonwoo live in the same building as seventeen. Only, when they were choosing to have their individual rooms, they were "unlucky" to be roommates. But from the vlog, theirs is almost having separate rooms but has connecting door. The other members are divided in 3-4 separate floors with their own room since 2020. Solo activities wise - Mingyu definitely takes the cake. But since Woozi get royalty for over 100 songs, I'm not sure who is richer.

I don't think we should take this video seriously. The fact that this didn't say anything about Woozi's royalties made it lose credibility. I think it's one of those videos that only rides the rumors. It might be true that Mingyu's net worth shot up as well as all of the other members, but I'm convinced that Woozi is the richest. Richest in terms of their earnings as an individual, since some of them are already rich even before debut (like Joshua). Woozi not only gets royalties from SVT songs, but he composes for other artists too. Also, since we don't have any definite evidence, we can only guess. If we only look at their works and activities, my top 5 guess would be Woozi, Mingyu, DK, Seungkwan, and Hoshi since they're the most active among all SVT ever since debut.

I think there is one more thing to add to those solo activities, like BSS or endorsements. Companies can have different % for share for those deals, as well as whether it's paid individually or split among all members. I doubt that's the case now, when they re-negotiated their contracts, but still being the face of a brand in a lot of contracts would be split among the members. I think DK is really smart with his money, setting up a company, investing in buildings, I think in the future this will pay off, but we'll see.
