It seems to me that Mr. Cruel was someone involved with law enforcement and not just a patrolman. Because he knew how to commit these crimes and get away with them. He knew to completely clean all his victims and keep his face covered. That's why I think he was some kind of detective or like the equivalent of an FBI agent.

I know this is very uncomfortable to talk/think about. But as a woman, I’m sure others know how uncomfortable it feels down there to have relations when you aren’t “ready”. It can burn and be sore for days and peeing can feel very uncomfortable, etc. I can’t help but to think about this everytime I hear about cases where a woman was repeatedly SA’d. Ugh. I cannot even imagine the trauma. Not only due to being violated, but then that torturous pain as well. Now imagine being a young child who isn’t developed for that to happen to them. Poor poor babies. Makes me so sad. I cannot understand how someone could do that and take pleasure in it. I just can’t.

I just heard this story from another true crime RU-vidr recently. It’s terrifying that he was never caught. Initially, I thought he had to be a member of the armed forces since he knew about knots and because he attacked so rarely. Then, I thought he must be a member of the police since he knew so much about dna. Then I thought he must be an electrician, plumber, gardener, delivery man, or something else that comes to people’s homes since he knew the ins and outs of each of their homes. Now, I’m thinking he may have had relatives in those fields and that’s how he had all that knowledge. I would be willing to bet that he left the country and that’s why the attacks stopped.

I think Carmen fought back and probably saw his face or other identifying details. From her parents description of her, she probably wouldn’t have gone along with his demands and this might have frustrated and enraged him. We hear so many cases of rapists who had no murderous plans but end up murdering the victim if they don’t respond in the way they expected , they fantasize about attacking victims and their victims reaction is all part of the fantasy

I believe its someone who had been in the homes before a real estate agent, plumber, construction worker for remodeling even someone like a tutor or having to do with the kids so it may not be that they never left prints because they just had reason to be there anyway

This case is so interesting! Please, if you can, cover some cases from Hawaii. I live there and NO ONE covers anything from there. There was a serial killer there in the 1980s or 1990s from Hawaii called the Honolulu Strangler and it's still unsolved. There was also a 5 year old little girl named Isabella Kalua who went missing in Waimanalo Hawaii last September and her parents got charged with her murder. I covered that case on my channel but no one talks about it.

Video cameras were fairly common in households starting in the early 80s. They were certainly around for awhile before, but more common to everyone in the early 80s. In the US, at least.

He probably shot Carmen as another red herring to make it seem like someone else did this. It seems they would come to that assumption since he did it on every attack.

Actually this is a quite well researched YT video on these cold case crimes. One thing though, Mr Cruel is probably not a serial killer. Police and the media have not released the names of any other official victims. One alleged murder does not make a serial killer. There are theories about other girls who have disappeared but these cases are completely different modus operandi and often in another parts of the country. These days the idea that the offender was probably connected to a school have largely been discredited. None of the 4 crime dates remotely suggest school employment. This was pointed out by a Melbourne newspaper in 17 April 2022. The assault on the elderly nun was later found to be the work of another offender, who was jailed for this crime. It is not the work of Mr Cruel. But keeps getting reported as one of his crimes. The public record is in error here.

I don't know if it's your accent but whenever you say Mr cruel I hear Mr cool, no judgement I'm Scottish and sometimes people think I'm talking in a foreign language mainly when I'm in London. This case reminds me of the Zodiac killer maybe after his reign of terror in the states he emigrated to Australia.

He could easily work in a law enforcement department, having access to records and evidence. Maybe even a school nurse or administrator. Wild and sad..

Well, yes, law enforcement is possible. Less likely would be a school nurse or administrator as the 3 July 1990 kidnapping, on a Tuesday night, took place during a normal school week in term 2 for virtually all Victorian schools back then, whether private, or State. Since the abduction victim was held for 50 hours this practically rules out any full time school employees back then. A visiting school nurse to a private ladies college would probably be a female.

You say the little girl was never identified publicly, but they all were. The names and pictures of the victims have been on the news since it happened.

You might be surprised to learn that this has occurred to others as well, to the point where a media researcher did a 20-30 page analysis of the book in relation to the Mr Cruel crimes, including such items like both characters saying when they would release their abduction victims !! My view is that the offender probably read the book or saw the movie or both.

You would be surprised at the number of books 📚 and movies 🎥 suggested to police with seemingly coincidences to these cold cases. Did police even consider these? Well, they narrowed the offender down to a likely 34 to 48 y-o in 1991, judged on criminal planning (doesn’t suggest a teenager), physical description (pot belly maybe), use of unfashionable words like Missy, Bozo, Worry Wart, etc. A line from the fictional 1960s TV series, The Fugitive, has detective Phil Gerard saying of the wanted man: “I know everything about him, what kind of food he likes, what kind of books he likes, what kind of toothpaste he uses, I know him …” Gerard at least knew the fugitive was named Dr Richard Kimble. Vic Pol know a lot about Mr Cruel, such as he read The Sun newspaper in the morning and The Herald in the evening … but they don’t have a name. They know what radio station music he listened to, and even know what sort of classical music he stole. They suspect he was a crime history buff, too. They are probably sitting on a mountain of information …

All sex offenders, whether children or adults are sexually assaulted should be in jail for the rest of their lives, and they should also be castrated. Why they let the bastards out of prison to do this again is beyond me. So disgusting they can walk the streets again. The courts never have cared at all about children or women. And the proof is in the pudding.

Probably not a teacher. The 3 July 1990, Tuesday night abduction where the victim was held for 50 hours was during a normal school week in term 2 where virtually all schools were in attendance. This just about rules out all full time teachers. The offender almost certainly knew the names of the 1987 & 1988 victims as they had featured in newspaper photos and articles. The schools were totally different: 1987 (alleged) State primary school; 1988 State primary school: 1990 &1991 private girls’ secondary college. While it still could be a teacher or any other profession, evidence points to electricity, or tennis related, medical, or law enforcement (knowledge of forensics). As a Melbourne newspaper pointed out on 17 April 2022, none of the crime dates actually suggest school employment.

All that I have deduced from this story is that after the first horrific experience, the parents were just bloody idiots!!! Like how stupid can you be knowing there’s a psychopath kidnapping young girls for you to leave your young girls alone at home?? I don’t care what you have going on either take them with you and have them stay with you at all times or you don’t f*cking go. I don’t know how old this story is, but did anybody ever hear about bars on the windows and industrial locks like come on…???
