I remember they retconned that series as them just tripping on alien lsd that The Doctor slipped Jackson and Christine. I mean… considering some of the storylines, I could believe it lol

Yeah, his characters got a lot of showtime at DC in the mid 2000s but after the New 52 they all went bye bye, pretty much

I'm surprised they didn't take it that with the whole "Wildstorm relaunch" DCX did... But they did a half assed relaunch so... Maybe Jim Lee needs to step up and make it a thing since he's in charge now.

Late 90's Image is when they started getting a little too big for their britches, but the early to mid 90's stuff was fantastic. Image Comics today is unrecognizable from 90's Image, but its honestly for the best now. Some of the best comics you'll find nowadays.

I would recommend reading The Negation from Cross-Gen comics. Very important character in that series is Obregon Kaine, black character with no superpowers but extremely tactical minded and leads a team of super powered people.

True story. Hell, they completely forgot there were other WildCATs other than Grifter. And hell, even Apollo and Midnighter barely do anything. Grifter either. Jim Lee made a huge mistake

@Abhikrishna PS Malibu was never a major seller that shut sold terrible when it was out I remember when Marvel tried putting Black Knight, and Sersi who were popular Avengers at the time in that universe hell even had 3 crossovers with the 616 it never helped.

@Abhikrishna PS No those characters mattered before Disney Black Panther had the longest running series for a Black character before Disney. Hell T'challa also has had his own event before can you say that about any Black character at DC. Storm has been a major force in comics especially X-men she's lead the most popular teams in comics multiple times for years stretches. Has Vixen ever did that with the Leauge? Falcon been a major factor in Captain America and in the Avengers way before Disney hell he first became Captain America for 2 issues in the 90's at one point. Luke Cage blow up way before Disney from just being around from leading the Avengers, New Avengers, Thunderbolts, Heroes for Hire, and Defenders . I mean hell he was going to lead the Mighty Avengers but he turned it down. Miles made a name for himself way before the movie, hell Miles has been a steady seller at Marvel the past 12 years. Seriously name one Black DC character that actually matters overall. Cause its not Cyborg, it's not John Stewart, it's not Vixen, it's not Steel, can't but Static cause DC doesn't own him or the other Milestone characters.
