I see 99 perimeter 99 steal locks get shot over like nothing, they hate it too. casual players definitely have more of a voice than comp heads. making offense easy and giving people access to plug n play animations/RNG style of gaming so they don’t quit. @@DeeSTAR I don’t even think they liked the 2k league to begin with. The way it’s ran is horrific. They only play the game because they’re good and get paid to do it. I agree, 2k tried, and failed.
I usually spend $15-$20 a year on my first build, then grind from there. Knowing that I do this I stay on the old 2k until they bring the price down in November. After my 1st build gets to 99. I use it to fund my other builds.

I just want a fun 2k I can play and grind without getting called trash because I am not shooting perfectly or nobody playing with me because I am a low overall and low rep. This is why I mostly play my league/ MyNBA in 2k cause I’m not trying to spend a ton of money or spend a couple months grinding out a build. Thank you for keeping us in the loop with what 2k is doing with their game. Recently started watching you and your videos are very informative. Keep up the great work.
@@moreplugs yea but there’s no way someone can make every single shot of every single game that’s not how people should be looking at the game. Not saying it’s too hard or anything like that. I know I’m not the best player in park nor do I even want to be the player in park. I could care less if someone misses every single shot. People have got to stop calling people trash or worse just because they can’t shoot or are not the greatest player ever.
@@SmizzyFireball That's true, and in general, Rec with randoms is a dice roll on whether it's gonna be a good experience. Sometimes it's better when some of them quit though :p especially if they're just chucking nonsense shots and ball-hogging. 1 vs 5 is hard, but even some 2 vs 5s can be winnable (and more enjoyable) if you click with your teammate.
I didn't buy 2k24 till it was 70% off, and that's all the money I spent, and I hardly play. I used to play all the time sense 2k9. It is taking a long time to grind my build, and I still ain't at 99. I'm at 81, I decided to do that before u said anything about it badge. I miss the old days of the 2k teens days. Those were the best except for 18, obviously. No more money to 2k. I'm done giving it to them.
Lowkey I like the way that sounded frl like if you want competitive or teammates that’ll actually try go to pro-am but (my opinion) be cool to add a ranked rec like how in the park idk if it’s on next stayed on current this year for a friend like how u got the overall performance from Casual-G.O.A.T be awesome to rank up and stuff but then again it’s a basketball game
Last couple years I pre ordered it this year I’m waiting a week or few before making a decision I feel like I will be spending most of my time on college football
Ima be honest I enjoyed it since day one I can honestly say that it’s the most fun I’ve had playing 2k since 2k18 if I get a refined 2k24 with a better reward system and progression system I’ll be Satisfied 💯💯
With shooting i think it is good when shooting is easy because when it is easy more of the community enjoys the game and it also makes a skill gap because it allows people better at the game to use a lower 3pt and be better and have a more well rounded build. A perfect example of this is that in 2k22 current my favorite build in the game was a play glass cleaner because i could use it in all game modes including stage because of the skill gap created by making shooting easy and therefore making it viable to have a 65 3pt.
I’m doing a no money spent build rn currently 86 overall. Been at it for about 2 weeks. I can hold my own in the rec with it atp. It did help I hit 100k VC on the daily spin though lol
I think they should get rid of squads in rec. If you have one person with you which I do most of the time. You get put with an another team of 3 that just refuses to pass ball to anyone that isn’t in their squad.
Besides the badge regression, 2k24 Gameplay is great but its the prizes and rewards that dis interests me. They should give us more rec and park gear like +1 arm bands and color leg bands for the rec. Also give more rewards like +1 attribute points. More hairstyles with designs .
Badge, i just thought of an idea for a game mode in 2k and you should mention it in your videos. Why doesnt 2k have a fantasy draft battle mode where you and friends can draft teams and face each other. Could also be an online gm mode.
Spent well over 2k so far on 2k24. Maybe 3k. I just get bored & like making different builds 🤷🏽♂️ if you got it, you got it. If you dont, then wait til the game goes cheap & do what you gotta do.
Totally agree with just getting your guy to 75-80 then leveling him out. You can really get away with an 80 overall especially in bum rec. plus let’s be real this games all about badges. Anyone can clip with a 78 three this year, inside layups with the bar are the easiest they’ve ever been and this years middy is super easy as well. I truly believe this is the best 2k since 20 and definitely the best next gen. I actually really enjoy it. It just sucks they’re bleeding us dry with the prices of builds man Edit: with that being said shooting is so easy this year. The worst shooter in our group went from never shooting above 45 percent from deep in any 2k to shooting 65 the last like 9 months
For my career they need to make two different paths expand that also take out archetypes for my career, and add builds to the online side, like when you access online my player you get a build since a lot of people are in build mode for just the main my career they need to let you be a 99 and allow you utilize all the ratings, now if you a 7’0 guys then your stats got to be cut like on certain ratings 70 or 75 cut off for ratings that are geared towards guards. But in a nutshell they can separate the two to get the best of both worlds, but all the while still having your player walk around the city or whatever take out the dumbest side quest, and then for online my player just have a different mode for that where you can make an online build. So people who enjoy online can just play that and grind on that. But yeah the game isn’t bad gameplay wise it’s not, just the other aspects it gets stale because my career isn’t really expanded on it’s the same thing over and over like now I have seen people actually PLAY the game instead of cheesing it but I do believe if someone at Live decides to get it together 2k may be going back to the 2k10 days 😂

I honestly think that this is one of the best 2k’s ever because of the gameplay + offline experince. my career sucks and so does myteam BUT myleague and mamba moments have had so much time put into them and you can see the care they put into those modes. its like with those modes their greed is non exisistent and they just make what sounds fun. my league is literally an nba sandbox where you can do WHATEVER you want spaning across history its amazing. its easily the best sim in sports today. coming from someone who hates the 2k micro yransactions, the shit we can do now I had to mod 4 years ago…
That’s why I’m waiting for the Christmas sale or even later to purchase the game. Tired of getting the game at launch, grind a build, then 2k drops a patch and makes my build worse.
A lot easier to do no money spent when you already know what makes a good build. The first build you make for the game will almost always be the worst build you make that year
Can u speak on the record reset in your next video ..cause to me that makes and breaks who you play with ..cause u can be a really good player and if u start off bad one season then people automatically think your trash..
The vc system is busted for sure, if they want us to spend the vc they gotta give it to us because there’s no way i should play 60+ hours and still only be a 70 something overall so im contemplating buying vc after i spent 60 hrs playing
