Tennessee is gonna be there, at 10-2 very worst, probably somewhere between 5-8 seed. Utah is NOT going to be too 12, nor is Clemson, & FSU probably ends up right beside Tennessee around 5-6, and Arizona most definitely won’t be there. All in all, i give this prediction a 9.75/10 on the boldness scale my friend

LSU’S schedule isn’t as difficult as others. Their 3 toughest games: Ole Miss, Alabama & Oklahoma are all home games. If they win at least 1 of these games or more, they have a legitimate shot at the playoffs.😊

@@minotaur770 This is the first season that the ACC won’t have a top 10 team in a very long time outside of 2021 Pitt (a team Miami beat on the road). FSU and Clemson stopped them before but neither are great now. If Miami can win the games they’re supposed to they can make the ACC Championship with only two or less conference losses. People made fun of me for picking Texas to go 10-2 and winning the Big 12 i think Miami does very similar they have more than enough talent

I feel what you're saying. While I would agree with your sentiment, I would also point out that, in my humble opinion, there isn't too much trust from the folks upstairs at OSU in Ryan Day taking the program to the Promise Land. Hence, is why they bought in Bill O'Brien as their new OC. I really feel that if Ryan Day doesn't get the job done this upcoming season, Bill O'Brien will be made the new head coach of the Buckeyes. I think that Ryan Day being the current head coach is the reason he's picking Oregon over OSU.

Was waiting for this to come out as its own segment to copy. I know we're not supposed to call out the SEC bias (west coast boi I know I know), but it's really hard not to when you toss in five SEC teams. And it's not just that they're SEC teams, it's who you're tossing in, and why. Tennessee especially is almost laughable. They have Chattanooga, Kent State, and UTEP, with an admittedly tougher NC State game (neutral field, but it's in Charlotte, NC). Toss in Vandy (0-8 in SEC play, and I'm doing that and not including full records because the SEC is the tough conference you have to beat to prove your worth right?), Arkansas (1-7 in SEC play), Mississippi State (1-7 in SEC play). That's 6 games that are honestly automatic for almost every power conference team in the nation (those SEC teams had 3 combined power conference wins, against Florida, MissSt's 7-3 victory over Arkansas, and somehow an early season OT win against Arizona). Finally Tennessee draws Oklahoma of the newcomers (and I'll be honest that's not a guaranteed win for them but sure toss it their way). So we're saying they have a good win against Oklahoma, maybe, wins against Kentucky and Florida who were both 3-5 in the SEC last year and not much better than NC State. But that's it? What are better losses than Georgia and Alabama? What about Georgia/FSU? Two reigning conference champions who are both solid playoff picks. Clemson has every chance in the world to figure things out this year. Yeah it was rough last year, but that shocking Duke opener was the only blowout. They lost by a touchdown in OT early season to FSU, they beat Notre Dame and North Carolina (both ranked at the time). They lost to Miami by a score in double OT, and NC State by a touchdown as well. They weren't far off from a 1 loss season and 3 ranked wins. Tennessee? They lost by a combined 71 to the three ranked teams they played. You could argue those were ranked SEC teams, but what about their other wins that prove they're close to winning 10+ games? Against power conference opponents (so not UConn, Austin Peay, or UTSA), they beat 5 teams that had a combined record of 24-38. If you think both Tennessee and Clemson can go 10-2, and that Tennessee, playing an SEC schedule, should get in over Clemson, that's SEC bias. There's no recency to indicate Tennessee is at all close to a top 15 team, there were no games last year against quality opponents you could point to even to indicate they're getting close. They got absolutely smoked in every challenging match-up they had last year, their wins weren't all that impressive, an inexplicable loss to Trevor Etienne (let's be real he's the reason the Gators won that game), and I guess a bowl win over Iowa? Meanwhile Clemson took an undefeated power conference champion to OT at a time when they had their starting QB and full allotment of players, beat an ND team that for all their flaws still finished 10-3 on the season, a better victory than anything else Tennessee had last year during the regular season, and appeared to be one bout of good QB play away from being in consideration for the 4 team playoff (ie not losing any 3 game set by a combined 71 points). This is why people like me call foul on the true SEC bias. I don't think Alabama and Georgia are untested or unproven, but I do think Ole Miss and Tennessee are. And they're getting in this conversation by osmosis purely based on being in the same conference as Alabama and Georgia. We put in a TCU every once in a while against the top teams in these conferences and say "See they suck" as if every other SEC team didn't just get absolutely mauled by the same team. Ole Miss lost two games last year, against Alabama and Georgia by a combined 49 points. In fact Mizzou, the one team not getting a lot of media love, is the only one to have quality wins AND close losses to ranked SEC opponents (LSU and Georgia by a combined 19). Yes, Georgia and Alabama were for a long time light years ahead of everyone else....but that included other teams in the SEC. We kept hearing about the vaunted depth and every once in a while an Auburn or an LSU would prove out, but about as often as a Clemson, OSU, or Michigan did outside of the SEC. As is tradition apparently here, I'mma call a spade a spade here, 5 SEC teams in the first 12 team playoff is SEC bias, particularly considering the 2 extra teams in (Ole Miss and Tennessee). If both Clemson and Tennessee go 10-2 on the year, both losing to Georgia, and a loss to Alabama and FSU as their respective second loss, it's going to be Tennessee in, and I'm going to call it SEC bias because it is. Hell even putting Ole Miss over Ohio State is bias (it's a push on putting them over the ACC runner up as well frankly).
You are going to eat crow talking about TN like that. You watch and see. There’s a reason everyone is putting them in. They are loaded offensively. SEC is bias is real because it should be, hardest conference and it’s not close. 8-4 SEC teams are better than most other conference winners.

Apparently, y'all are still stuck in the past. I get it. Miami hasn't done $hit for well over 2 decades. However, have y'all not been paying attention of has your hate for that program blinded you so much that you can't see the obvious? Miami is going to be a much-improved program this upcoming season behind Cam Ward. Miami's problem over the course of the last 2 decades is that they haven't had a QB the quality of Cam Ward. They've always had crappy or less than average QBs. Don't know what took them so long to figure out that you actually need a QB with a pulse and some athletic ability who can get the ball from point A to point B consistently. If you look at all of the other major programs who have consistently been at the top for the last 2 decades it's always Alabama, Georgia, OSU, Clemson, etc. What do they all have in common? Either a stud at QB or a QB who can actually play the d@mn game. Miami has that now. I know that some people have their gripes about Cam and how he's a turn-over machine. He is a much better up-grade from TVD who in my opinion was hot garbage! Glad that dude is gone. Not only was he a cancer to the locker room and program he sucked as a leader. I live in South Florida near the campus, and I can tell you without a doubt, word out of Coral Gables is that all of the players love Cam and have bought into his vocal and play hard philosophy. With one of the best OL and DL in the country, a running game with Fletcher and Martinez, a room full of WRs and TEs.... Miami is going to be much better in terms of talent. The question is, Can Mario prevent himself from dropping the ball with his BS playing call like he did last season in the Gtech game. Mario is the difference here. If he does it right, Miami could easily go undefeated and win the ACC. If he doesn't, I say off with his head because you don't pay a guy that kind of money, spend the kind of money they have via the portal and NIL and still not manage to get into the playoffs. Anything less than 10 games and he needs to have his a$$ sat down and talked to.
