Yes, it means envelope antigen in block mode. Not replicating the virus yet.

At the moment there are some medicines available for functional cure only not for permanent cure, research is going on for that, But none is not getting successful among them yet. It is targeted till 2028.

As per pharma research companies they targeted 2028-30 but this is not 100% sure. So, let's wait for that period.

I can understand your concern. There are so many patients suffering from chronic hepatitis B since more than 15 years and they have family land live with a happy life. If you think, I am a patient and there is nothing in my life then it will give you depression or anxiety nothing else which can be harm to your immune system. So, follow up your treatment, stay happy and wait for cure mediication.

There are some advanced and effective medications coming for functional treatment of HBV. This will also help the patient very much. For permanent cure, still research is going on.

😀As per WHO reports, there are around 300 Pharma companies doing research on hepatitis cure. But HBV is not a normal virus it's a double stranded and very complicated virus that's why research companies not getting proper solution yet.
