It’s the sand disappearing under your feet as the wave takes it away, making you feel like it’s taking you too. Jacky yours looks like fire burning above the sea with a night sky above and debris falling into the water.
A couple reasons why the ink and resin travel away from the edges: 1. you have to clean the cup. Typically with tumbler turning you sand down your cup, you clean it with 91% alcohol, then you put a primer coat on your cup, and once you get it onto the turner, you clean it again with 91% alcohol. When you get the fish eyes, (the spots that don’t get resin in them) it’s typically because your cup is dirty. because your cup is dirty, the resin is not going to want to stay in specific spots, which makes it move away from the bottom corners and the top lip. 2. Another reason is that your table might not be level. I can tell from the outcome of the tumblers that your table wasn’t level. Jackie, your Tumblr had a lot of blue traveling towards the top of the cup and that coupled with the fact that your resin is traveling away from those bottom corners means that your table is not level, and it was forcing all the resin to go to the top of your cup. 3. And last, but not least, in my experience it is very difficult to get the resin flush to the lip of your cup. A lot of makers and creators will put a silicone sleeve around the lip of the cup, because this patchiness and the silicone sleeve will get the resin away from the very lip of the cup, and leave about a quarter inch of an epoxy surface at the top. If you really want the resin to stay to the top, try cleaning your cup really really well in this will increase the likelihood of that resin wanting to stick there. Hope this helps!

I absolutely love the fantasy pallet!!! Gorgeous!!!! Also I also get that moving feeling with the waves at the ocean, it gets more intense when I watch the waves and my feet at the same time. Those optical illusions be crazy.

I use to live about an hour from the beach and I agree with you about that sensation of moving. When I was very little, I fell onto my belly and it felt extremely weird with that movement. I just love yall working together, chaos and control.
Yes, about the ocean thing! 😂😂 it also felt like you were going way further in, without actually physically moving, and I'd look around and be in the same spot. Idk if that makes sense but it's been a WHILE since I've been to the ocean but definitely remember that 😂
Jackie, your tumbler reminds me of a collision of a darker kind of underworld and a bright beautiful place, and Sika's reminds me of like an etherial forest. They both came out so beautiful despite the little flaws with the color separating from the edges 💕

I love both cups you resined, but for different reasons, but my favourite is yours Jackie because of the bright and happy colours you used. Also, I think that feeling you get on the beach is vertigo Jackie. I know it sounds funny but I get it when I go on a ladder, even just two rungs up! The world tilts and seems to feel like I'm the one moving, even when I'm standing still! I get it on beaches in the sea/sand too. Lol. Both of them turned out stunning! Sika's matches her personality wtih the earth tones and yours matches your personality, with the darkness in your soul, while also liking colors. I think you both did an amazing job!
Jackie my favorite color is like a burnt neon orange, and plum crazy purple(birthstone is amethyst) to hear you have the same fav colors makes me so happy.
Sika's almost looks like a turtle shell to me- it's so cool! And yours looks like a galaxy turning into an ocean, it's kind of trippy! I'd love to do this myself, it looks like a lot of fun!

Hi Jackie and Sika have a wonderful friday n weekend. My friend Megan made one that messed up on her n it turned out to look like vanilla bean ice cream. The little dots or bubbles looked likevthe black bean specs so it was perfect for me. 😊❤

This was just the best video, Sika's chaotic energy was very entertaining to watch. I'm a fan of fantasy and rainbows, and the swirls of gold in your cup, Jackie, were hypnotic. I do like how Sika's creation was so true to her favouritr colour palette, it had a very nice, earthy feel. You both did good, and surpriskngly, it seems most of the resin stayed on the cups, not on the desk. 😁

Gr8 job ladies!!! Typically ppl also drop a white one the color drops. U can also use a hair dryer with the sorta flattened adapter to move the ink around . This is another option besides the heat gun so u do not burn ur epoxy. Also u can use a torch to move above the epoxy in rapid motion to get bubble out of epoxy or spritz some rubbing alcohol like a mist above ur tumble so it fall onto tumbler. These few tips I have seen and read on YT & fb groups.
I know what you mean with the beach thing. I think it’s the sand being pulled out as well, it’s going against your feet, it’s a trippy feeling but I like it 😅 Also I really like Jackie’s cup. So pretty! Purple is my favorite color so I’m a bit biased lol
I like both designs on yours and your sisters tumbler's. You can tell Sika she is not the only one who doesn't like sticky stuff being on her hands. It feels icky.
i love them both as the concepts behind them speak to both whic i call sides of me, the nature, outdoor lover and the avid MMORPG/ RPG/ JRPG gamer that loves to just get lost and explore the world and come across the beauty of the world. My friends are busy in game taking photos of their newest armor/ weapon/ acessory/ outfit and my screen shot folder is full of beautiful secnes from the world we are playing in. love the ones from the moriah vid too there awesome
definitely got a nice maroon color between the purple and orange. I thought it would turn out more brown than anything and mess with the vibrance, but it's looks sooooo good
