I still enjoy watching a handful of players like Mariano and Andy, etc. I think it’s a mistake HCL has distanced themselves from Garret. It’s a shame they’re doing the same thing with Keating. Those 2 add an extra level of anticipation for me. I wish they’d figure it out.
I think that’s super unfair. He’s making a tv show with a limited cast. He has enough ppl to make the show without giving equity to everybody. And other than KEATING, it seems like the player base is loyal.
@@drexlev Did you watch the 14 min clip? It’s not easy to keep a level head and consistently show class after losing a big pot. It’s admirable, hard not to like the guy. Then he comes off as a narcissist, idiot on that clip. Saying HCL wasn’t doing well and had the same amount of views as LATB before he came on the show is complete bullshit. The way he handled that was horrible and shouldn’t of ever taken place on a public platform for others to hear. Let’s revisit this topic in a month……😎

Obviously Keating was the one to put Ryan into consideration of leaving LATB and restart from there. He was the one to participate in fancy shows with no positive net value for himself besides to build his reputation of a poker maniac with 90% VPIP and brutal action, which was of course superb for the show. Although Allan may didnt have his best half hour here, he made some good points and Ryan couldnt even deny or mitigate it. Somehow Keating is not part of the Million dollar show, but I am pretty sure he has a big steak on Mikkis stack. On the other hand I think Doug being part of the show as a top pro in poker was only an opportunistic deal to not have a bad mouth destroying your business in future.
@@drexlev please post a link that’s unbiased (not from Keating himself) with information that Keating had any involvement with Ryan leaving LATB and starting a new stream. I doubt they knew each other at that time. Keating’s first appearance, when the commentator gave a intro of the players on the stream. They got to Keating and the only thing they had was “good friends with Dan Bilzerian”. Keating was a no name before his appearance on HCL.

Garett was fine playing at The Bike until Nick lure him when they started Hustler Live. Then Gman was a regular player and the player that draws the crowd. I seen that because there were more people watching when Gman plays. I was here when it all started. Nick V. Used to play at The Bike too. You can watch The Bike old videos.

Pokers Stars produces it's own poker shows and the players own a piece of the company, they have equity in the company they built and they definitely get paid. You have to own yourself to be successful here.
This is like college football when the players started realizing that the coaches and university were making millions off their backs. The stream is a professional football franchise where the players get old/injured and then are replaced. The players need to unionize to force management to compensate them.

Without Garett I don't watch Hustler live anymore. I would love to see Allen and Garrett play in their one million buy in and watch you both kick ass ! It would definitely drive them Crazy . No matter wherever you both played it brought more fans and it was more interesting. What they now have is a freak show. When you have Mariano and Rampage (and I'm not knocking them) headlining your show it's pathetic . I would love to see you both go play at the Lodge . If the shows starts "compensating" players is it even real poker anymore? Are we looking at a real game vs a show now? Is it scripted? Will we ever know.....
Well, SHOULDN’T they be compensated to some extent? The show isn’t to the point yet where it’s making a lot of money, but if people stream it to watch certain players, those players are worth something.
I don’t think he’s asking for compensation as in being paid for playing on streams. It seems like he wants an equity stake in the brand for creative direction.
Narcissism is reflected in behavior that is 100% defensive, unable to discuss conflict, is emotionally dead to others feelings, unable to connect relationally, and states that they are the victim while victimizing others. In no way does Keating even come close to that behavior.
No one wants Garrett in those games. He's an absolute stiff for a personality and brings nothing to the streams in reality. He's the total opposite of what they want in their games. I get he has a big name and he's helped Feldman, but that's something he should just get a piece of behind the scenes and not by letting him play in these easy games.

You don’t get it the new players you have been seeing a lot is because of him…these guys do not need to let you see them play at all…most are fine with behind closed doors…you don’t get anything he is saying he literally created all the huge games that made this show famous they should have made him a partner - don’t need to have people watch him win or lose money it’s a privilege
I never saw Feldman before until he played in one of the games recently on Hustler. Took an instant dislike to him. Was completely not what I expected.
He seemed like a solid dude to me until the cheating scandle was handled so poorly. Then it was obvious to me the show surviving means more to him than honesty and integrity. However this interview is the most whiney group of millionaires I've ever had the displeasure to stomach.

Pay the players who do all the work who people pay to see play. HCL isn't doing this for free. They make money so should the players.

WTF that is just a poker game, he decides to play the way that makes him punt off tons of money, he definitely cant complain about the line up, he was literally on a game where he got called preflop cold an all in of 150 k by QJ off the problem is that he had 94 off lmao, if that is not the best game ever i dont know what that is, there are pros who would kill to be able to play on streams like those, but that is not fucking hollywood why the heck is he asking for recognition when he is just another player punting...
