it is lovely. I actually think the wool and the needles were the problem. Slippery metal needles were making it hard to follow. I will update you next week
Loving the new series, please talk about why we lose muscle mass especially when resistance training, I expected to gain fat that didn't throw me, I didn't expect to lose the muscle I've been building a year, just to watch it deplete, this I find frustrating when I'm working so hard to build it.
Re GERD, I’ve had similar issues for ages, take a PPE every day but it did improve when I stopped consuming lactose. Even some medications have lactose so I have to select carefully! Love this series, listen while I’m doing my ex program, but have to stop and check out your knitting every time 😅
my PPI isn't cutting it at the moment. Ugh drastically going to change up my diet and hope for some relief. And LOL re the knitting. You should like me.
I think you should go ahead and finish the shawl. It might be a good exercise for you to focus only on the knitting unless it’s just too damn annoying! And I love all the good work you’re doing for us. Menopausers in Ottawa.
I had severe acid/nausea issues for 3 years. This one the first noticeable Peri/Meno symptom. After an endoscopy in 2019 they found a beginning ulcer from acid. Pantoprazole kept me sane. HRT took it ALL away. No more pills or acid except with Tomato Sauce unless I add baking soda to the sauce. Good luck.
I have always had gut issues, after covid though, ugh it has just gotten so much worse. I am definitely going through a chronic bout right now and on horse pills to fix it. Also drastically changing my diet for the next month. I need some relief
I have gastritis, but I also take omeprozole. I think I got it in the nick of time, because I can still have coffee, tomatoes, etc and I'm not bothered by it. Here's my weight problem, though. Ive put on 30 lbs, BUT I am waaaayyyyyyy more active as a post menopausal woman than I ever was before menopause. I also have a very healthy diet. I'm also NOT on hormones. I will be talking to my gyno about going on estrogen to see if that is right for me. Would HT slow down or decrease my chances of visceral fat?
there is no data to support HT being part of a weight loss or gain scenario. I am going to cover this in future weeks. It is so frustrating though, I know.
@@AmandaThebex thanks. No wonder why I couldn't find anything on NAMS. 😂 I feel like I'm missing a piece of my puzzle. I have a great food plan and stay active. I've recently added your strength training MMR routines. I don't mind if I stay the same, I just don't want to gain anymore. I've also had thyroid checked. Nothing abnormal
