When I do one colour the other strip goes to another colour. And now my red coloured row doesn’t work at all, only one strip and the other doesnt

for me the problem is that i have the 32ft one (day better) and one roll is turned on white but when i connect the other roll to the 2nd plug red and green works but blue isn’t lighting up so one roll is white and the other is green mixed with red with no blue to balance it out to create white for both rolls

Actually we were installed the profile lights in fall sealing and when painter do the primer in fall sealing may be some spots going inside the aluminum pannel and due to this some of LEDs are going to glow in yellow color. I have a couple problems, first one is I have 2 lights strips connected to each other but only one of them works (the one connected to the power). And the only colours that work or different greens and reds, white doesn’t even work. Whenever I press blue it just turns off and any other colour is either just green just red or both of them together (edit: I’ve fixed the other strip not working)

My LED's were working perfectly before, all of the buttons worked and the colours corresponded correctly. Now, every colour is mixed up, but I didn't do anything different. For example, I'll press light blue and one of my strips will turn a green while the other turns magenta. I don't know why this has happened.

Bought some LED lights off Amazon from a vendor named Gusodor, at first the lights were amazing but after a month exactly they just wouldn’t turn back on. I went to the lengths of having them send a new box (suspecting it was the adapter not the lights) only for those to not work either. I don’t know what to do and I really want to keep the lights I have up because if I tear them down it will tear off the paint

Problem: MY LEDS ARE FLASHING Reason: If your LEDs are flashing in a regular, consistent sequence (e.g., on for 1 second, off for 1 second, then on for 1 second again), then your power supply is overloaded! This means you have too much striplighting connected to that power supply. For example, if you have 10m of LED strip that draws 5 watts per metre, the strip requires 50W in total (whether it’s two 5m strips or 10x 1m strips, it still adds up to 50W). If those strips are all powered by a 30W power supply, this will go into overload protection mode, which means it will turn on, realise it is overloaded and immediately turn back off again, then keep repeating this cycle. Solution: You may chose to get a larger power supply that can handle the total wattage required, so a power supply higher that the total wattage of all your LED strips. Or you could get another power supply of the same size as you already have, and split the strips across 2 power supplies. I got some led lights today they worked perfectly fine ,about 3-4 hours later they stopped .i waited about 2 hours to see if they would work after but they didn’t I tried using a different adapter which still didn’t work .help what do I do

My colors are all mixed up if I press Green it's Pink and half of them don't even work. On some of the colors it's like pink then fades into orange for three lights the back to pink. When I turn it off it's a dull blue.

Problem: MY RGB/RGBW LEDS ARE SHOWING A DIFFERENT COLOUR (full colour is affected or not working) Reason: If all of the LED strips colours are working except for just one colour, and this is affecting that colour all along the strip (e.g., the whole length of the Red colour LEDs are not working), then there is either a fault with the soldering of the Red -ve cable onto the strip’s PCB, or else Red cable is faulty from the strip to the receiver, or the connection of the Red cable into the receiver is faulty or disconnected. We can say this with some certainty, because here is no way that full length of Red LEDs are all faulty; the way LED strips are made means that a faulty LED will only affect the section between those cut points. Therefore the issue is related to the cabling. Solution: Check the cables between the controller and the strip, especially if you have extended them with a connector block. An effective test would be to wire the power supply directly to the strip, thus cutting out any extension cables and any control gear. And note that black is always positive (+) for RGB/RGBW strips. so start by wiring the positive from the power supply to the black cable on the LED strip. Then wire the -ve from the power supply to the cable for the colour that isn’t working. Let’s imagine that it’s the blue cable that is not working. In such a case, you should then see that the Blue lights will light up, proving that they work - which means you have a bad connection somewhere else. With this knowledge in mind, rebuild the system step-by-step, adding the controller (and extension cables if you have them) and see which component makes the Blue lights stop working. (If at this point the Blue does not work at all, then check if its cable has come off the solder pad on the strip, as this is the only reason left as to why it would not work.)

mine have 3 lights in a few places that are the wrong color like when i press purple those spots are red what is wrong with them i’m confused

Mine started to be 2 different colors , came to this vid looking for a fixed but end up figuring it out myself , Just went to a custom color , and played around with the rbg arrows , and a certain tone fixed it for me. Now all my colors match back up

Problem: MY RGB/RGBW LEDS ARE SHOWING A DIFFERENT COLOUR IN SOME SMALL SECTIONS OF THE STRIP (e.g., 100mm not working) Reason: Are your LED strips working fine for most of their length, except for one section or a couple of sections within the cutpoints of the tape? (e.g., when you select Orange, a 50mm or 100mm section shows Green only.) Well that means the Red LEDs within that section are faulty. You can easily confirm this - if you set the strips to just Red then on that section they will be completely unlit, and if you set to Purple that section will show Blue only. RGBW LED strip with a faulty circuit section (dry joint) This can be very confusing when you install your first LED project and see these colours not matching. But the answer is simply that one colour of the RGB/W LEDs is not working within that section and needs replacing. This can be caused by static-electricity damage, or bending and twisting the strip too much, or being trod on, damaged in transit, a cheap poor-quality strip, or dry solder joints. LED strips are made up of 50mm / 100mm sections (sometimes other sizes), and wired in a way that means each section is a discrete, enclosed circuit (in other words, if a LED or resistor is damaged it will only effect the section of strip within the cutpoints). If the complete section between cutpoints is not working, this is a very similar problem to a damaged LED or resistor - most likely caused by a dry solder joint. Solution: In most cases here the only option is to replace that section of the strip. You can do this by swapping the full strip. Or you can get another, say for example, 100mm section and solder this in - or you can use connector clips to clip in a new 100mm section. Before taking this step, it’s worth attempting to touch or press down on the LEDs/resistors in the faulty section - in the best case possible, you may see that the light miraculously comes back on; in this case the problem is a dry solder joint, and if you’re capable of soldering you can repair this strip! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-OY-wwlriHqQ.html

I’m don’t know what brand mine are but a lot of them seem similar so maybe someone can help me but basically they’re just stuck on one of the color changing modes. I know it either has something to do with the remote or the little “IR receiver” that’s connected to the “control box”. There were a few times a while ago when I was able to make the lights change to a different color by holding the little light on top of the remote to the receiver thing and tilting it around til it change but then it would get stuck on whatever color I changed it to. It shows the color of whatever button I pressed but just couldn’t change it. I’m not sure how to fix it.

So my led lights are three different strips that are connected together by connectors but the first one is bright and the second is dull and the third is much of a different color then those ones. For example when there white the third one is yellow. But when there red the second one is orange and the third is nonexistent. I have no idea of what this is and if you can help.

I have had my led lights a few months now and they've worked perfect but i woke up this morning and 8 in a line of one section are now red when i put them on purple or pink and when i press on blue they won't work at all it's very puzzling and when i turn on plain white that 8 of them in the section is yellow i haven't painted or anything that might damage them.

Where the two strips connect together make sure the positive and negative are on the same side. Mine had an arrow on one side where they both had to face same way

Mine just keep turning onto the strobe effect on they’re own, I’ll change it to a colour on the normal settings then 30 seconds later it just turns to the strobe effect, I only got them today as well, do you know why this is?

So I thought it was a problem with my Gigabyte motherboard but now with Asus I still get this thing. When I set all of my LED light strips and fan frames to WHITE they become RED instead. Lowering the brightness makes them white again but darker. Basically more brightness makes them orange to red, as if the blue and green LEDs were failing for some reason. Both the light strips and fan frames are by Phanteks and connected to a single RGB header. After this happens the LEDs seem to be broken as they show wrong colors like orange and pink become red.

When I try to enable animations for lights they just turn off. Any solution?

Hi! Can you please help me? I bought my led lights 2 monts ago and they worked fine until 2 days ago. Now, whenever i turn on the switch on the socket, the lights turn white. And when i press any button or the remote (red, power on, off, inc. Brightness ,etc) the lights turn a green-ish yellow. Over time they turn red, and then eventually fade off and die. When I put my led on purple there’s about 3 lights on there that are red....and it keeps spreading around in blotches. And they have been working great for about 4 months now Bc I got them in April.
