I am with you and I always see our country India as of different faces and customs as I am all for diversity. It is such a shame anybody has to encounter unacceptable treatment and karma shall play out for the perpetrator or one with the bad attitude. I as an Oriya am blessed to have friends from all parts of India and cannot wait to visit Northeast India for a change. J Mo Indian in nationality but to me being Indian is more of a set of cultural mannerisms rather than the way someone looks. North East Indians are basically South East Asians racially and culturally.
I also live in sikkim and native of Bihar still I will say people of north east are very friendly and good. Standard of living of ne people is high compared to rest of India

I am from Nagaland ... We went for excursion in Delhi and Jaipur and the people started asking whether we are from Korea or Japanese or Chinese ..... And we felt so insecure....

I can feel your pain as I have been through all these shit since I was a kid in India. Racism is rampant there. If anyone needs proof about racism in India one should watch their movies. Majority of indians are dark skinned but in movies they are shown white with the magic of makeup and editing. Those actors who are very black are shown as villains, bad guys and jokers in their movies. This is the country if they make movie on Bruce Lee they will feature akshay kumar as Bruce Lee. Indian society is biased and racist. Mary Kom movie is example. Mary kom is a mongolian boxing legend but she is shown as Aryan in movie. Can you believe it guys???? If such movie was made in hollywood the director would have shot himself, the actress would have jumped off the terrace, the producer would have taken sleeping pills to kill himself and the audience would have died of laughing. What a racist society!!!!
I don't think India believe in democracy or secularism North east people are true Indian, but Indian people doesn't liked them they neglects NE and raicism always happen to North east people . India always dominated Northeast and doesn't care for North east people. If so North east should be free from India or India should give them independent. Northeast people should raise their voices to UNO free from India time has come. northeast people doesn't want to be slaves of Indian people. Indian people called us Chinese so why not we take help from China to free from India. China will definitely helps us to free from India. (Azadi hamara haq hai)

We are of a different blood. Should a northeast people shout and chant Jai Hind after many North East people are beaten up, discriminated and killed by Indians. I don't think so.

when we were in highschool we learnt history we learnt alot about different history of different state of india but we could not find a single chapter about North east history in other state syllabus why is it so???

May I say something, here in this video, that person mentioned about inner line permit bahar ke loog ko aane mat do! One thing, inner line permit protest was held but this doesn't mean that we don't want them to come. Inner line permit is a system, which is kept to protect n to gather info of who come n who goes etc. So claiming that bahar ke loog ko aane mat do is bad I guess.. why is he so protective instead of giving the main ans?
Because Delhi is where Indian society is at its worst: centuries of inequality and discrimination which is a part of their culture which in turn, made many lack basic morals. Remember caste system is unique to India.

I think the answer lies within ourselves... Like few days ago a Young grl from ghy mentioned to the prime minister that why topics related to the NE are not included in books like in history geography etc etc... We have read from childhood about all parts of India but very few on the NE regions.. They must be included in books so dumps could learn there are seven states in the NEastern part of India known as the 7 sisters and Sikkim is also included in it.. Education is a way to educate about the NE and those who had been to The NE knows about it otherwise a question.. And more proper education and employment opportunities should be made available other than going out and facing discrimination and insecurity..
North India have so many state You can't say that whole north is same I,m from uttarakhand we have Tibetans, Nepali and some of uttarakhandi ppl also have monogolid features(like me) northeastern ppl are also living here they never face any discrimination....... Don't think UP ,Delhi as whole north India .......my friends from UP call my Nepali .....says open your eyes girl but my ppl I mean ppl from uttarakhand have never said that thing to me .......soooo stop that north Indian thing
