These videos are good for people who've never been in learn what JW life is like. It's good for people who are JWs but are having doubts in helping them decide whether to stay or leave. For people who've already left - these videos only confirm for us that we've made the right decision.

These videos are not bashing. They’re actually giving people comfort. People who could possibly be going through some sort of mental distress.

I was never disfellowshiped, I just faded 40 years ago. I got a college education. My JW relatives didn't want anyone to know that I was living and doing well. Shunning me wasn't enough for them. They told awful lies about me to everyone. The years have passed. I still live a good life. I am so thankful for the wise decisions I made many years ago. I appreciate your videos. Don't stop ! Thank you

I made the mistake of letting the brothers know I suffered from depression and was suicidal and sought medical help with counseling with psychiatrist. I was told instead of seeing a psychiatrist it would be better if I just prayed to Jehovah more and increased my time in field service. I was suicidal and actively planning to contemplate it. What was field service really supposed to do for me?

You are not bashing them. You are just telling the truth about the organization. You are just helping people that left or in the process of leaving. It's great to know what you are going threw by leaving this organization. I also havee read Crisis of Consciousness and has helped me out a great deal. I have been fading now for 1 1/2 years. But the conversation you have shared reminded me of an ex fellow elder who is a dear friend. Back in the late 80’s early 90’s he had a daughter who was 16 and not baptised - an “approved associate” [you might remember] anyway she met a young man and got involved with him and they disfellowshipped her and told the parents my friend, that they were to not talk to her and kick her out!! Then in the 90’s they changed policy based on Jesus only being approved by his father when he got baptised so then the ‘unbaptised publisher’ came into play. So then of course her daughter was no longer viewed as disf so they could now speak to her - they ripped a family to pieces and then not even an apology for getting it wrong. When my friend challenged the elders about the fact they got it wrong the elders said no no no it’s an enlightenment. Omg! They hadn’t spoken to her for 5 years and by nowhad 2 children which they had never met. So with tail between legs they went around to see her and said the GB had changed their minds. The girl was so hurt by what they had done, allowing POLICY to come between the natural love one should have for family members - and now when she sees them walking down the street she will cross over and not even speak to them. It is just so sad and unnecessary. Heart breaking. Great video guys and thank you 😊

Wow I am pretty fortunate. My mom does not shun me at all and I left so long ago. She is not your typical JW. She is a witness to the core but she has told me she won't ever not be there for me as I am all she has.

Another great video. To put it in a nutshell, if WT/ JWs' are convinced they have "The Truth" then their beliefs should stand up to the highest scrutiny. The problem is the moment they feel the heat on them they play the "apostate card", they are instructed to shut down any further discussion. That's what cults do unfortunately.

I've watched every video on your channel, I've learned more in 2 years of watching your videos than I did in 18 years of being a Jehovah's witness from birth, on top of being separated from my entire family cause of my change of faith, you guys bring me new hope and faith. I may never meet you in LIFE but thank you. Thank you for helping me and others.

I know an elder who's son served at Bethel. The son married a sister at Bethel. They had two kids and separated. The son got disfellowshipped and was homeless. The father was encouraged by the Body of Elders to not take his son into his house to live, otherwise he would lose his position as an Elder, a position he's held for decades. The father took his son in and stepped down as an Elder. What heartless bastards they are for telling him to basically disown his own son and let him live on the street just so he can keep his position in the congregation. This is NOT God's organization. God is not heartless, but they are.

I loved this segment, and to me you are doing this out of love, not hate. And it's not the people, it is what they teach and how they present it to the people.

I believe these videos are life saving. I myself been in a very dark place because of the shunning, and knowing that there’s life after the watchtower is very comforting. You guys are doing a very good job helping many wake up. Thank you 🙏

I can't even have a conversation with my sister about JW org. She calls it "religious bashing' and simply 'won't have it'. I get told about 'how I was raised' and 'how its the truth', blah, blah, blah. REFUSES to listen to one sentence out of my mouth. Doesn't want to know.

For one thing, there is the honest hearted JW and their leadership. As you said TJ, they're not the same. But this said the individual that shuns, judges, rejects their kids because they're disfellowshipped and so forth, is not as kind as he seems to be either. The clip you showed is perfect to show who JWs truly are.

I truly enjoy your videos. Hearing you both speak of your many experiences and how you step through your thought processes reminds me of my parents.

Great video as usual. I agree with the comments that the truth is the truth. And if a group is preaching a false truth, no matter WHO they are, and are then exposed...so be it. I know good LOVING people of many different beliefs that scoff at the idea of disassociating themselves from family members, much less their own children. Keep up the real good work family!!

My dad was given the same choice. Either his daughter or his appointment. He was a ministerial servant at the time and so was i. My dad chose his children and he never became an elder. Our parents have never shunned us. And I love them for that. My kids get to have their grandparents in their lives.

Love you two. You are always spot on, so accurate. I have a cousin that never got baptized and left the organization as a young teenager. He has been married and divorced twice and has lived with women, currently living with a woman he's not married to. Several months back he went into the hospital for tests. When they were filling out the information at registration, the hospital clerk asked him what church or religious affiliation he preferred. Without missing a beat, he said, Jehovah's Witnesses. His partner nearly fell off her chair. He has not been around the organization for years but he still has that JW indoctrination embedded in his mind. This man is in his 60's.

The three of you have helped me honestly look at everything about Jehovah’s Witnesses without fear. You’ve answered questions that I’ve have had and couldn’t ask. You’ve challenged me to take an honest look at myself and what was leftover from when I was a Jehovah’s Witness. It’s much easier to receive this challenge from people who used to be there like myself. I’m grateful to Jesus to find other Christians who used to be JW’s. There’s so much mentally to walk through even after you walk away. I was a JW since I was 16 years old and left after 33 years. I honestly believe the deeper a person is in the organization the more unbelievable teachings you will see and the unbelievable things you will have to endure. Double standards and nepotism and good ol boy male protecting other males. Wife abuse is rampant. Thank you dear friends, thank you for being courageous!

I have been one of JW till last year 2017 September when I resigned. All of these points you are talking about are all Truth, I know them personally. Still up to this time I am in deep shock because I can not believe that some of their teachings are not BIBLICAL. Thank you and go on.

I just got to the 9/11 part and I saw THE SAME EXACT THING!!!!! People were literally TERRIFIED...for about 2 weeks, then the attendance went back to normal lol....

That story about the young lady being evicted is a classic. They stand by and do nothing. There was a brother in my congregration who was kind and helpful and he was shut down. I don't know what was said to him but his attitude changed.

My sister in law was disfellowshipped for leaving with her daughters to protect them from being molested by my older brother. He kept his "position" while she was censored.

Y'all knew 20yrs ago, I can't believe it took me so long, has had doubt for a long time. Was so indoctrinated. The Blessing I have my children who was rear into the organization loves me. Thanks that I didn't come from a generation of that organization. It definitely divide family, when you need them financially they want you to go to your family or the government who they don't want you to vote for to help you financially whom you can't associate with. I really hadn't thought about what actually happened to my mind as a result of my association with Jehovah's Witnesses. I just knew that it was not for me. My experience with their organization was not all bad. I understand now that their teachings were embedded in my mind deeper than I recognized until I watched your videos here. Thank you.

A high control/demand destructive cult dictates all the horrible "laws" & mandates that the JW publishers must robotically do. Also, the Watchtower "pointing out religious error" for all other faiths is no different than their "New light, light gets brighter" "adjustments" of "what the Bible really teaches." What I find interesting is those JW's will do all this side research outside of WT books and magazines and then still return to the organization when they know what is being taught is not the actual truth. Just like Proverbs 26:11 and that dog returning to its own vomit. Investigating JW religion is like opening pandora box. You better be prepared for what is in it because it will shock you to your core. I took it a step further in addition to internet research went to my local library and just started researching the origins of this religion. My conscience would never allow me to return back to that religion I as I know 100% of my being its not the so called truth we were all led to believe. No different than Jim Jones and his Jonestown cult.

I read COC on the down low. I know if it wasn't for that I would have still stayed in. This was in early 2003 after I started having doubts.

I was just looking at another video earlier coming to work this evening of a church Kingdom Hall Church being burned down to the ground that's sad but those things are happening. And on the up and up little advice for Daniel. When making your videos be sure to keep yourself in a professional setting. Always remember things have to look right and be right. I was a jw for 40 years i was disfellowship in 2012 , I was sick of double standard I pioneered I was a pioneer for years and years trying to live by their standards, my daughter and grandchildren is still in , I have not seen since than, everything you are saying is so encouraging for those that have been your witness. I'm don't going back to that cult .

I enjoyed this video. I was one of those people on the fence but always had a gut feeling not to become a JW I enjoyed learning about the Bible but all the other stuff with the watch tower was to insane for me. I walked away from the Catholic Church when I was 13 cause of all the rules & regulation & also the mental abuse that God was going to punish me. I used to have JW tell me that Jehova will not save me cause I’m not a JW & going to all the meetings. So no these videos are not bashing its shedding a light on the subtle insanity of emotional abuse. Most of all the child abuse I’ve been hearing & watching so many other people’s videos. That disgusts me so much. So critical thinkers are doing a great job educating. People need to follow that inner voice to think. Remember God have us free will. We in this world are not all bad people.

A man once said"PREACH every where u go & at all times . AND if nessary use words". A lot of people rather see a sermon than hear or read one. From what I understand anyone that reads God's Word the holy Bible at home mediates on it , applys it , is being sprit DIRECTED. When people ask me what Religion do I subscribe to . I now proudly say " My Religion is God's word its self ". I've never been more proud of my Religion. I was told by Watchtower for 30 years "the reason we don't have beards is because we don't want to offend a stranger at their door in the public ministry because beards are stigmatized by some people & it may detract from the message. (Decades ago there may have been more truth to that amongst a few people even though there are & were a few that look down on men for not having a beard can't please everyone all the time .) But when covid 19 & lock down hit no door to door excuses to not have a beard .So I grew a beard neat & trim like Bob Vilas . And after over a year only received positive comments from non witnesses. I was met with extreme negative comments came only from Jehovah's witnesses witch brings reproach on God's name . So the circuit oversear called me after zoom meeting & asked me over the phone almost crying. ¿Why did u grow a beard ? I had a ton of carefully researched info I quickly shared it with him verbally over the phone, texted him some links to many newspaper articles which headlined policy's of law enforcement agencies in my state against beards for police ending because beards haven't been stigmatized for many years and they were just old out dated policy's that unfairly infringed the rights of Law .E. Officers. So now law enforcement officers can grow beards .The circuit oversear did not give me any counsel at any time or respond. And after I texted him a number of newspapers articles about nothing wrong with neat beards. Circuit oversear blocked my phone # that was & has been his only response for the last 2 years the same response from elders & others . I was told years ago by 2 elders when I disagreed with the Watchtowers interpretation of Mark 12:25 & gave them two very simple explanations of how I interpreted it . They told me that is not our place to interpret scripture that's the Governing Body's place only . I said ¿ " WHAT I view it as my place to interpret scripture or how else would I be like the Bereans "? Act 17:11. Shame on me for bragging, but I corrected many elders in many different congregations because I moved a # of times . With simple Bible knowledge. Heb 10: 24,25 I told a elders & other members if they are not encouraging me at their gatherings then Heb 10: 24,25 does not apply to me in relation to their meetings. I had in the past asked elders & other young men to get together with me to help me do good works for free for older poor members of the congregation and the vast majority acted like I was asking them something unreasonable like haul a large peace of trash install a waterheater or fix a home exterior door lock. Things I know how to do & have the tools I was mostly asking the for encouragement only & good association & they could have learn some useful handyman things . But if a elder asked them they acted like they wanted to do it a lot of the times. I couldn't help but wonder ¿Do these other young men seek prominence that much? I make errors and mess up but it's not the Bibles fault. I can own my mistakes now . I don't do or say wrong stupid stuff because a Organization encouraged me to . Now if say something stupid someone may correct me and I try to research if I'm wrong & if so I find it beneficial to admit as soon as possible that I was wrong and apologize sincerely. And do what I can to right the wrong sometimes compensate a person or group that I have wronged sometimes with out them bringing it to my attention.

Raymond Franz definitely help me, I still need other to help. Y'all video help so much & many others. It really help me to sleep better & to encourage me that being one JW really impact our life. I don't like any church or religious group. I would really like to find or be in one group just to be involve with people. Because I really love people. Being in a small town association is limited unless you are some kind of group.

When I got saved, the great freedom I had was being able to question the teachings of my church & the freedom I had to leave if I wanted to. “There ain’t no bashing going on here”! These video’s are very informative... I feel so sorry for JW people & the bondage that they’re put under with all the mental manipulation & emotional trauma. Again, I want to say that I appreciate you. You help me out through my tough time, when my soi call witness family would not bother with me. Today, I still attend meetings at the Kingdom Hall, but here the difference, I have a new perception and I don't allow myself to be put in a box. Like someone said in the comment, I need a religion to tell me how to serve God. I know that there may be other open minded people who still attending the meetings. Again everything around me is like going to the grocery store...you only buy what interest you. Again, I really appreciate you TC, Lady Cee and Daniel. I am free, and no longer in a box. I attend the meeting only because I want to. I really haven't find any other religion that interest me. All of them are flawed. (iincluding JW). Just like the Super Market... you only buy what you personally need and leave the rest.

Its SUPER important to make these videos for 2 reasons. When you leave the JWs ..... you fall into a depression and many suicidal thoughts and very confused if you made the right desicion. These videos LIFT you up and let you know that your not the only one out there. They show you that YES you made the RIGHT decision. It IS POSSIBLE to leave them and still have a beautiful life because the witnesses make you feel if you leave them that you are already dead. God will hate you because you are going back to your own vomit like a Dog back to his. How SAD that we got our minds messed with by WatchTower. JT? I say it over and over also, that I do what I do out of love and compassion for Jehovah's Witnesses. I used to be one!! People will say why are you picking on JW's and no other religion? Well, I mention that people of all religions need to do research into the organization they belong to, but I do JW's because that is what I was and am familiar with. Others that used to be Mormon, Muslim, etc., they deal with those groups because they used to be one of those. I have never ,and will never, say I hate JW's! But I DO have a problem with the leaders of WT Corporation!! Yes, you guys are always kind!! I have never even heard you raise your voices!! You are always calm and honest! Peace to you all!!

25 years of being an Ex-JW. I was touched by Lady C's statement of helping stop a suicide. Suicide is a big, big problem with JWs. The guilt trips and the shaming the organization puts upon its people. The teaching that God is wrathful, unloving and never satisfied that you are doing enough to please him. Then combine it with their teaching that there is no life after death is the perfect cocktail for suicide. Daniel, JT and Lady C you are doing good work!
