The way that this channel is perfectly aligned with where I am at in my candle making journey. I feel like all of these videos are for the candle maker that has gotten some experience under their belt and are now ramping up their candle making setup. Love that this melter has a replaceable heating element.

Seems great. You may look into an inkbird or something similar (temp controller) to manage a consistant heat. If my digi ever goes down id consider this.

Thanks for this video! I've been researching so many large wax melters and there is so much info out there. Would you say the main drawbacks to this over the Digiboil are the lack of neoprene sleeve and no digital temperature settings? It sounds like the best attribute is the customer service!

@couturehomeandbody that is me too. I am still testing, so I don't need anything big yet. I'm currently using a presto pot, but I won a melter in a giveaway that I hope to use one day. It is a ToAuto.

Does this have a space in the bottom where you can't get the wax out anymore because it's below the spout? Does that thermostat measure the temp of the heating element and the temp of the wax?

No! The spout is super low so every drop comes out, nothing is lost.

I have a question can you take the sleeve from digi and put it on the diy?

Great minds! I tried that and the digi sleeve is much bigger both in height and length. It didn’t work.
