Why is there no discussion of how to treat cows humanely in modern dairy farms. Many people are put off from having cows milk because of the treatment of cows in diaries, such as killing bulls, and the cows when they can no longer get pregnant and produce milk
Yes, such practices are quite disappointing and not in alignment with Ayurveda’s perspective on Animal care and love. In the Old days, cow was very much a part of one’s family, every family had one, and it was treated, nourished, fed just like the family was. Times have changed, so it’s more so important to know the source. Please also acknowledge that there are people and organisations who do take care of cows as their own mother- and provide sattvik dairy products- organic A2 cows milk, Ghee etc. There is goodness around us as well. 🙏
@@drrinivohraSo the organisations who take care of cows as their mother, how do they obtain milk round the year from cows? By keeping them pregnant every year right? That too by inserting steel rods into their uterus? Would you do that to your mother, year on year?
@@drrinivohra The simple answer is it's not doable in today's world ahimsa milk is a myth also a2 milk too Is just a hype because of these a2 milk fad their's lots of specicism going on within the bovine animals to save only Desi cows not the cross,hf,jersey & forget about buffaloes also if ahimsa milk do exist how many of us one would feed milk through such dairies to a 140+ billion population who would pay such a high triple the price for so called a2 milk? The only solution to this is decrease in population & decrease in consumption of milk & shift towards better sustainable alternative for nutritional needs not necessarily plant based milk even before in those old days population was less also the cattles too were less there were also lots of forest & grass lands & once they stopped giving milk they could even be left in forest to graze freely rest of their life now they raom on roads eating plastic & garbage & in the end met with an accident or get caught by cow traffickers & smugglers to get endup in an slaughter house. One more last point cattles are ruminant animals they do produce significant amount of methane & release it in the environment to produce green house gas emissions India has 307 million cattle population now imagine how much of methane they must be producing the only practical ahimsa milk in future will be lab grown milk produced via precision fermentation method.
@@drrinivohra The simple answer to this is it's not doable in today's world ahimsa milk is a myth the only ahimsa milk in future will be lab produced milk via precision fermentation method also this a2 milk too is over hyped thing it has no concrete scientific backing due to this a2 fad lots of specicism is going on where most Babas call out to save only Desi cows not cross, jersey,hf forget about buffaloes we don't even consider to talk about them even if such ahimsa dairies exists how many of us they can feed to a 140+ billion population where many even can't afford to buy that triple the price a2 milk cattles are ruminant animals they emit methane gas in environment which contributes to world's green house gas emissions India has about 307 million cattles imagine how much methane they must be emitting previously in olden days population use to be very less + their use to be lots of forest & grass lands the old cattles could even rely on those forest & grass lands for their feed also the predators too use to play role in maintaining their population while today the slaughter houses are playing role of those predators that too very unsustainably, with cruelty as now amongst the old cattles cows are left on roads to feed on garbage & plastics where they endup meeting with an accident or endup in slaughter house as the cow traffickers & smugglers kidnap them from the streets forget about buffaloes we don't even consider talking about them despite being slaughtered legally. The only solution to this is decreased population decreased demand of milk & shifting towards more economical & sustainable alternatives not necessarily plant based milk as in the end nutrients are the things which we need not the milk.
Of course he doesn't even know what veganism is about. He is completely delusional about the abuses cows and buffaloes suffer every moment because of people's lust for dairy products.
I have solved my b12 deficiency in 2 months, with wheat grass juice 30ml per day, Weekly Twice drumstick leaves curry with roti, If you have critical deficiency take half spoon of mango seeds powder in 250 ml of water in the morning, people are fools they follow everything blind, they don't want to believe even if it's reality 😂😂😂
Maybe it will be helpful if you can tell us what is that nutrient in the cow’s milk that vegans may not get from any other source. Looking forward to your response
Assuming we are talking about grass fed, free range, sun exposed, ethically well taken care cow, From A2 Binola Ghee: Butyric Acid Conjugated Linoleic Acid (CLA) Vitamin K2 (MK-4) Omega-3 Fatty Acids (EPA and DHA) Cholesterol A2 Milk: A2 Beta-Casein Protein Vitamin B12 Calcium with Lactose Vitamin D (D3) Phosphorus Iodine Omega-3 Fatty Acids- Alpha Lenolenic Acid From Dahi/butter milk: Probiotics (Apart from list above) Now, I will be looking forward for your answer.
The countries with the highest dairy consumption coincidentally also has the highest rates of osteoporosis. The casein in cow's milk leaches calcium from the body. If humans were meant to drink milk as adults then nature would have ensured that our mothers continued to produce it.
Assuming you weree referring to grass fed, ethically treated, sun exposed, free range desi cow, it's milk, ghee has these nutrients. Conjugated Linoleic Acid (CLA), Butyrate (Butyric Acid), Omega-3 and Omega-9 Fatty Acids, Fat-Soluble Vitamins (A, D, E, K), A2 Beta-Casein Protein, Proline-Rich Protein Chains, Specific Immunoglobulins, Lactoferrin, Probiotics, Enhanced CLA (Conjugated Linoleic Acid). Looking forward for your response.
Very informative! Thank you. I was advised by a nature cure therapist to go for a whole food plant based diet as a remedy for my rheumatoid arthritis that did not improve much despite all kinds of treatment including homeopathy & ayurveda. I was really impressed by the results of this vegan diet when my chronic condition actually began to reverse, & now at sixty one I am not only able to engage in activities that were difficult earlier, like taking long walks, but I often find myself technodancing all night long at Goa's dance clubs without any drugs/alcohol, as this diet, along with the practise of yoga/pranayama/meditation gives me a subtle 'high' that does not require any of the substances I was earlier seriously addicted to. However, I found it difficult to get all the nutrients from plants alone & have now included into my diet desi A2 cow ghee & eggs, which can be considered more vegetarian than milk if they are from unfertilized hens, which is the case with modern day poultries with the birds being reared in cages. But I try to consume local eggs whenever possible as the fowls are reared in a free environment without artificial feed & antibiotics.....& no cruelty.
@@benjamindsouza6736 Would you be able to explain one thing, Benjamin. You consume the milk of a cow to become nutritionally complete. Can you explain where the cow whose milk you consume gets her nutrients from? Have you heard the saying as strong as an ox. The ox consumes only grass. The biggest, the largest and strongest land animals are all plant based. The only thing a vegan needs to take is B12 which is produced by soil bacteria not animals. Vegans prefer to pop a supplement instead and f supplementing an animal and killing it to their hit of B12.
@@benjamindsouza6736 Also Benjamin, the multibillion dollar supplement industry was established in the 1950s. Veganism went mainstream only a couple of years ago. Who was consuming all these supplements? It can't have been the vegans cause there were hardly any of them around. And as per your claim the non vegans are not nutritionally deficient. Then who was Big Pharma selling their supplements to?
Thank you for reaching out! Maharishi ayurveda does not force or condemn any lifestyle, rather is here to make individuals aware of the exact science of Ayurveda. The freedom to choose a lifestyle remains with each individual.
Cow's milk doesn't have enough calcium nor b12 to meet daily requirement only thing it has is small amount of vitamin D which helps in absorbtion of calcium while b12 & vitamin D can be obtained very cheaply & sustainably via supplements & calcium is abundant in multiple plant based food.
This is very interesting and very valuable!!! Diets can be very valuable, but when their goal is achieved (like with ketogenic diet which mimics a fasting diet and allows the mitochondria to recover and new good mitochondria to replace defunct mitochondria) one needs to return to a more varied healthy diet.
Lord Krishna in bhagawat Geeta states specifically what humans should eat. Nuts and seeds fruits and shoots. Cows do not eat meat yet they grow so big and strong. U all are saying this because you want to sell your meat products to the true Hindus who do not eat meat . Not every food is good for everyone. Those who are animal in human form cannot live without meat. Money is God for some people
What is the core point? If you can be healthful with the plant foods you have available, you must do so. No "ifs" and no "buts". If you can't then take the minimum amount of animal to preserve health. Maybe lactovegetarian, maybe ovolacto, maybe even pescatarian.
A lactovegetarian diet matched to your body type is the most premium according to Maharishi Ayurveda. Cows milk, ghee, etc. have no direct replacements not only because of their nutritional values, but their Pranic values and satvikta is considered one of the highest. Veganism as a lifestyle can be taken up, transiently, with moderate use of alternate milks according to your doshas. Please know that you have a choice to adopt any lifestyle, but Ayurveda and Veganism may not always go hand in hand
Cow, buffalo and other animals milk isn't good for human health and this video also not need for us because we fallow our Guruji Dr. N. K. Sharma's pure golden daiet our Guruji is legend for us.

@@maharishi_ayurveda nice try dodging the Bullet! Please come with a scientific evidence to prove your claims!! I have thousands of research papers that shows milk is bad for health.

If a non vegan diet is one that is NOT nutritionally deficient then would you be able to explain the MULTIBILLION DOLLAR supplement industry that came into being when there were hardly any vegans? WHO was that s industry catering to?
This might not appeal to newly Vegans, but I can vouch that the information shared is very apt (I was an ex-vegan). Listen to your body and eat what makes you feel good physically and mentally! At one level, everything is cruel even your breath inhaled. Balance is the key!
Ayurveda emphasizes food as medicine. Not for tastebuds. A2 milk, ghee, from ethically grown, well taken care, free range, sun exposed cow will nourish the body. That why we call cow as Gowmaatha, she gives milk. It's medicinal properties are good even for adults.
@@rakeshmehra6321Small correction, cow doesnt give milk, we take it from her and when she is not profitable, we leave her on the streets to eat plastic or send to slaughter house. India is the second largest exporter of beef in the world. I wonder where all these cows and buffalo come from for beef 🤔. No one cares for Gaumata. If we really did, we would immediately realize the horrors of the dairy industry
@@RajeshPatel-fe8rn Good question. Male cows were used in Agriculture, their droppings are important for plants and ecosystem. Cow dung is also used for cooking. Female cows that no longer produce milk, were adopted by temples where they were given utmost respect and are part of pooja. Their droppings were still used for agriculture. Don't talk about the current practices. They are unethical and I do not support that. I am talking about what we did historically, which is good for both Animal and Us. We treated them like our family members. No cruelty.
Hyper vegans should be quiet. Don't impose your opinions on others. The cow produces milk for its calf and me; we share things. You know nothing about healthy plant-based food sources and healthy ways of cooking. Most of you have many health issues because you don't know what to eat. Eat pesticide- and lectin-free foods and grass-fed dairy/protein sources to stay healthy. I didn't know much about Ayurveda, but this guy made some good points. Nutrition value is not everything. Stop drinking plant-based milk if you care about your health.
@@Ero-d why should anyone be quite including vegans ?
