“Throughout my reign I will never rule you as a King. I will protect you as a parent, care for you as a brother and serve you as a son. I shall give you everything and keep nothing; I shall live such a life as a good human being that you may find it worthy to serve as an example for your children; I have no personal goals other than to fulfill your hopes and aspirations. I shall always serve you, day and night, in the spirit of kindness, justice and equality.” -His Majesty The King Jigme Khesar Namgyal Wangchuck
We're so blessed to be a Bhutanese🇧🇹 citizens of Bhutan... Under our kind King's leadership we have nothing to worry about anything... We always praying for His Good Health and Long Life...
Love Bhutan as a country and it shows why it is this way, ruled by such a wonderful king loyal to his subjects and the rest of the world's ecosystem making every effort to stay carbon negative
Father was a monster terrorist who terrorize innocent civilians and loosen the army so that army can rape, torture, arbitrary arrest, kill, without any consequences. Son is a TV model guy, director is the father JSW
Because he is not a leader. He is the king, the father of Bhutanese. And fathers take care just like this. No wonders why the Bhutanese love him so so much.
Dolklam is not Bhutanese territory but buffer zone for India, China and Bhutan. We have border dispute with China and it has not been resolve due to the interferences from India. Chinese never said Sakten belongs to them but it was the speculation of Indian politicians with Vested interest and geo political propaganda. However, having said that we do have close bond with India and we love India for their full assistance in developing Bhutan. My only request to Indian brothers and sisters is pls do not think that Bhutan is being fed by India, Bhutan equally protects India from China and nothing comes for free from India. Thanks for sharing about our king.
It's not only pandemic but his majesty do visit and care about from remote to city people every year. Long Live His Majesty King Jigme Khesar Namgyal Wangchuck!🙏🏻❤️
@@pthegreat1104 Thanks for your kindly remind brother. But don't worry Bhutan country will exist untill this world remain. Also we Bhutanese warmly welcome to you whenever u want to visit.
"we must always stand united in spirit and purpose,we must always be one nation with one common goal" King khesar N. Wangchuck. We worship our king. Blessed to born in Bhutan.
I always appreciate Bhutan culture, how they live , their efforts in making their country carbon free. They must strict tourist travel in their country. If not, their condition might get out of hands. I support him.👍

Thanks for this video. I'm facinated about Bhutan. Unfortunately, there are just limited documentaries or news available about Bhutan. I appreciate this one.
Bhutan is blessed with good karma, the karma the nation have invested many generations. I hope they continue to be blessed by these great merits the nation have accumulated of generations. to the beautiful people of Bhutan and the beautiful royal families. love Bhutan greatly

One King is our best King in the world no king can do as much he care for all of us HM visiting all these risky area by him self many times no other King will do.Long live our King 🙏
Our king might have come into limelight lately for risking his life during the pandemic but the fact shouldn’t be forgotten that he have been visiting every nook and corner of the country ever since he was crowned as a KING…
@@himalayahoo yeah I’m talking about someone who even don’t know whether he exist in this world. It’s good that he isn’t in our country. Otherwise, he is a burden to the country.

Bhutan has rights to establish official relations with any neighbors. We should respect their sovereignty and independent status as a peaceful brigde between China and other nations in South Asia
Thank you @theprint for your kind words towards our monarch and for highlighting the events happening in the country. However, there are few misleading information about the Doklam issue and the role of Indian military in Bhutan.
Its a last Buddhist Kingdom, a land of Thunder Dragon, He is a Dharma King and its all abt Buddha Dharma ( its based on the Four Novel Truth) Its a land of GNH, not a Land of GDP. Rest countries in the world are based on GDP. Pelden Drukpa Gyello Lhagyello. Long live Our beloved Kings🙏🙏🙏
Compare him to william : future monarch of england.... A coward skulking in the bondooks with his equally coward wife, all thru the pandemic .... Giving his children as an excuse This Bhutan king, is truly a king!!!
I love the ways the king of Bhutan rules. He is very nice and very smart how he treat his people with care and love. The country and people is so peaceful and happy, I would love to visit and also live there but the only thing I'm worry about is flying there.
People need real objective, unbiased, pragmatism and realistic standards of approache not ignorance and emotionally driving media. You can fool to some but you can’t fool everyone.
Print being a reputed media needs a deeper study before reporting. Small details matter a lot. Some bhutanese army are trained in indian military academy and not in bhutan, Bhutan police are not trained by india. Apart from that thank you for covering Bhutan and its loved king.
Bhutan sud be annexed as INDIAN province like sikkim, it wud be safe them from china permanently, #Modiji make it happen, so that INDIAN can also settle there as permanent citizens
@@kulmodi5434 bhutan is small but it is different and unique and it will be the biggest mistake of india if they try something like that. Bhutan may lose the land but india will be paying a huge price in getting it and maintaining it.
@@sukizuki9497 bruh whatever that Indian guy that may cometrue if Bhutan won't realise that nether india nor China is not someone bhutan should relay but on it's own . No matter who both huge nations are expansionist .
i would have liked this video but had to dislike it when this so-called un-hyphenated channel claims the Butanese leader is great (which he is), but very conveniently does not mention that NaMo is the best leader India ever had. In fact, she talks about Nehru who was scared of China and gifted away territory and SC seat to them!!
Simple .. it’s not luxury trekking. You will know only if you see His Majesty picture before covid and after covid… he is taking the burden of whole nation on his back
India will divide in to 28 pieces,,,at the moment half kashmir administered by pakistan and occupied other half by india any time pakistan will capture it by sending nuclear missiles towards india...godi media gay hindus love Pakistan from Dhaka Mirpur Bangladesh ♥♥♥♥
Even a benevolent king is a problem, as it doesn't rule out the possibility of tyrant inheriting the thrown in the future. Bhutan has an elected assembly, why not have an elected head of state too? I don't mean to say the king of Bhutan is bad, i just don't understand why journalists would fawn over an undemocratic institution.
Because what matters is good administration. Democracy or otherwise doesn't generally affect our day to day life. Like we didn't directly elect our PM.
We trust our king and it would never happen.. our third king felt that Tryants might arise that's why he made a constitution that the assembly members(people representive) can remove the king with the majority but we people didn't like it as people will take advantage of it that's y it was made 2/3if any king in future arises there is a huge freedom to people to remove the Trayant. we trust and love that no such thing will ever occur..
Since Bhutan is an Indian protectorate, India should treat Bhutan as an Indian State and provide it with the necessary vaccines. That will be a sign of India's commitment to that country.
We are grateful for India’s support but that doesn’t mean we should surrender our sovereignty!!! We have had selfless leaders willing to takecare of it’s people. Thank you but please keep your selfish opinion to yourself and we don’t need your corrupt bureaucrats!!!
We love our king but this report more of political issue and this political problem created by media. So we don't trust media. Medias created problems in the world.
Hi jyoti , That was very good deliberation 👍… but is it unhyphenated? When thousands of ethnic Hindu Bhutanese were forced through brutal force as refugees in the neighbouring Nepal under the nose of great Hindu rastra ..India. Unhyphenated story on This ethnic cleansing under the able leadership of Sekhar , you & other distinguished journalist at Print will be a great service to about 1 lakh plus victims of ethnic cleansing some of whom are still languishing in refugee camps in Nepal …🙏
I shouldn’t be replying to such Poorly informed & low intellect individual who undermines the authority of United Nations , other international humanitarian agencies & countries like US , UK , Canada , , Australia , Norway who recognised us as refugees and spent billion of dollars for wellbeing & helping settling them in this countries cos of irresponsibility & inhuman treatment on humanity by country who declares Gross National happiness as it’s soft power … what a shame & farce …with due respect ✊ to good people of Bhutan ( there are still some good soul there ) om mane Padme hun 🙏

@@prakashbasnet1242 Funny how those lllegal immigrants and anti-nationals were the ones doing that yet you're the one falsely stating that an entire country did that.
@@prakashbasnet1242 You're the one that's poorly informed here, ignoramus. I myself am a Lhotshampa(Bhutanese of Nepalese origin) and during those times there were many Nepalese from nearby places like Kalimpong and Darjeeling who lllegaly entered Bhutan through the porous southern borders, taking advantage of it, leading to an abnormal influx of lllegal immigrants there. I asked my grandparents, who arrived in Bhutan from Sikkim during 1904-1905, about this and they said that during those times there were many Nepalese who lllegally entered Bhutan, more specifically the southern parts as mentioned above due to them being porous and also since during those times as there were no developmental plans in Bhutan there being not enough resources, manpower and control to manage immigration as compared to now leading to lllegal immigrants settling there.
Bhutan should join China that is the future. No gain to continue to align themselves with backward BJP. The lives of its citizens are better off with Chinese help. The locals look like Chinese so
He may also be walking to check if any sizeable Nepali populations are left so as to drive them away into Nepal through the Indian territory with a nod from the largest demoncracy.
@@sonamyangchen1540 Nations rise and fall, but the scars remain... The Nepalis know on whose proddings the rogue Thimphu regime drove out 1 lakh-plus Lhotsampas......
@@sonamyangchen1540 The JFK assassination remains shrouded in mystery to date, so do several other high-profile assassinations that changed the course of history... ´Have never been that close to the corridors of power to know how the June 1, 2001 royal massacre happened, who exactly was the assassin(s) -- eyewitnesses said they saw several shooters, who looked exactly like the Crown Prince Dipendra Shah. For centuries, the Nepal Palace has been the victim of international intrigues and conspiracies because of the country´s geopolitical/geostrategic importance - you can of course blame it on the ´Nepali mindset´. But you think history will judge the Bhutan royals only on the basis of GNH? Will the blood and tears of the Lhotsampas have no place in those tomes? Subsequent Nepali regimes have been corrupt beyond measure, but I ask your royal regime to not sell its soul to the devil. My humblest apologies if I hurt Bhutanese national sentiments, despite the fact that the Druk regime was very very very unfair towards the Lhotsampas. South Asia has been a blackhole that annihilates small nations and Nepal has been facing an unprecedented crisis due, largely, to extraneous factors - apologies for my Nepali mindset, a hardwired thing that I won´t be able to change! In such adverse conditions, Bhutan is doing great and my congratulations for this feat. I ask your regime to not forgot those Lhotsampas as the nation surges forward. And I thank you for a decent and enlightening conversation.
Ever Been to Bhutan?? If You had, You would seen & met Bhutanese of Various Ethnicities Including Lhotshampas (Bhutanese of Nepalese Descent). They are not Oppressed nor Stigmatised, are allowed to practise their traditions & Cultures, Given Equal Rights & Opportunities and are Subjected to the National legal system just like any other Bhutanese. Like Most Nations, Bhutan is not home to Just One Group of Ppl But many. And yes, Bhutanese do know abt the Southern Issue from wayback.
