Dylan writing is just marvelous. Say what you want. And Ritchie is a heavy introvert. My ex girlfriend was one as well. Brock Lessnar is the same i heard. They're fine one on one but they rather be with themselves than deal with people. I experienced it multiple times with my ex. ✌️
Before Eddie Van Halen came out with 'Eruption' in 1978, Ritchie was the best rock guitarist on the scene. Ritchie's solo to 'Highway Star' was brilliant!
No I believe Ritchie was sincere about his meeting with Bob Dylan. Bob Dylan is a legend. Jimi Hendrix was a huge fan of Bob Dylan. He met him twice. Jimi's cover of Bob Dylan's song ‘All Along The Watchtower’ is brilliant. And so Ritchie Blackmore was a huge fan of Bob Dylan's as well.
@@karsguitarchannel6088 It's not a matter of whether or not Ritchie admired Dylan, it's about the way Ritchie originally tells the story. "Bob Dylan came up to me once and said, "Hey. Who the hell are you?" It's a joke. It's Ritchie's self-deprecating way of saying that Dylan wouldn't have a clue who Ritchie was. He was being ironic. A few lines later where he starts going on about 'looking out the window,' he has to stop himself from laughing. The proper context for that story is amongst the other times Ritchie was known to be trolling in interviews. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-qwu12U5SNKw.html 1:19
@@wahwahwells Well I'm sure in the late 60's, when Ritchie was young and Bob Dylan was a big hero, and when Dylan asked him, "Hey, who the hell are you?", that wasn't very funny and Ritchie didn't laugh. He just walked away. Maybe now, when he recalls their meeting, it's funny. I think he was really hurt back then because Ritchie is also known as a very sensitive person. I don't think Ritchie trolled the interviewer or something. He wanted to share the story about meeting Bob Dylan.
Romans 10:13 13 For “whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.” Ephesians 1:4-5 KJV 3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; 4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:
Ritchie treats everyone like shit, especially his fans. I wonder if this played into this attutude of his. Like, he thought Dylan was cool for not giving a shit about him. He likes portraying the "mysterious" artist
