I adore Christen ! She was the first person I ever found on RU-vid back in the day; when she would say BYE DOLLIES. Her original latte pallet was the first pallet I ever purchased. She's such a gem. I love that you had her on your podcast. Laura and Christen, being mature adults and rekindling, makes me happy. To be honest, I never cared to know what the drama was lol. 😂

I have the privilege of meeting her at a generation Beauty event in Toronto a few years ago. She's one of the most humble sweet people I ever had the privilege of meeting. I love her! I remember waiting for hours in line and I was the first person to meet her when she came to Toronto!

One thing that I learned in therapy, was always know the person you’re dealing with.. if they are a kind and loving person, then more than likely.. they didn’t mean to hurt you. Or if they are usually mean… they aren’t your people so don’t deal or just don’t be surprised when they are mean. That helped me so much!!!

This is genuinely one of my favorite podcasts! Always entertaining and real! Only thing I wish would change just a tiny bit, would be if Manny would allow the guests to speak a bit more. He sometimes jumps in too much like when she was sharing about Ipsy. He was kind of speaking for the guest vs allowing her to share. Noticed it during the butterfly/cocoon part.

I'm 30 years old I started watching the beauty community in 2016 I was swept away by the drama that followed within the years after and eventually was convinced that certain people were not good people because of small parts of their lives I had seen online made me feel convinced I knew who the people were and its funny that now I've got older my points of view on alot of things that happend have changed for example ill be honest a few years ago I wasn't the biggest fan of Laura or manny although I never gave them hate online proud to say I've always been woke when it comes to trolling and now I really love them both and see a great deal of myself in manny and belive they are both good people I used to hate the idea of getting older but once it starts happening you find yourself and what you see as Important changes so much

About them not talking anymore, this happened when Laura was too close to JS and I think she went over her head being friends with him. I was very very sad that Laura was the one who put a stop to their friendship, but I’m very happy that they are friends again 😢❤❤❤❤❤
