In the commentary Matt said he felt bad asking Missy to do that ”I'm not Marzipan" line because he doesn't think she realized they were making fun of her lack of range
I love Homestar's lines from that unfinished cartoon. XD Rafferty: Uncle Homestar, are you scared? Homestar: Yeah, a little! Rafferty: Wa's this thiing? What does this dooo? *Poking Homestar with rake* Homestar: I think that's obvious... Preshy: I love you, Homestar. Homestar: I have a hard time believing that.
I wish Preshy and Rafferty were a thing! Oh my gerd they are too precious! I don't care if they are preciously evil they are adorable! SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE-*3 years later*- EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee....*gasp for air*
"Uncle Homestar, are you scared?" _Inwardly, Homestar had never felt more terrified in his life. Perhaps if his stupid face were more capable of expressing emotion, or if he'd possessed the cognitive capabilities to verbally express it, he would have screamed and caused Marzipan to return. Instead, he could only swallow and reply in a barely calm voice-_ "Yeah, a little."
I think he could if he were actually terrified. He did scream in terror when he turned into a cyclops in Halloween Potion Ma-jig. But there is a difference between terror and Dread. Dread is when you know something is going to be bad and you know exactly what to expect. Terror is when you are facing something that you don't fully understand.
"I Love You Homestar" *Homestar was horrified beyond belief. He knew he was going to die. He wanted to scream, but he couldn't do anything now. He could see the distant headlight of an oncoming freight train, and could hear the sound of the horn blowing for the crossing in the distance. Not knowing what else to say, he uttered-* "I have a hard time believing that."
apinakapinastorba he's their second cousins, so he's they're mother's or father's cousins. Sometimes people call their second or third cousins aunt or uncle.
It's crazy that I love everything they've ever done but the best cartoon they've ever made, "Those Darn Cousins," was buried inside ANOTHER cartoon that was relegated to DVD bonus content
@@vashietru1848 Funny how we talk about the imaginary creations of the Brothers Chaps as though they were real... But the imaginary creations OF those imaginary creations--who, in the end, are the product of exactly the same imaginations? Don't be silly--THEY DON'T EVEN EXIST! 😉
*She was place into the scene, prepped for animation... And then a new Legend of Zelda game probably came out and she was never heard from again.* Homestar: "WHY GANONDORF?!?! WHYYY?!
"None of your business, stupid! ...Oh, wait, I mean waiting for my cousins to get here! I'm sorry, I always get those two things mixed up..." It's the little things like this that make these cartoons so great.
“Hiya homestar! Whatcha doin?” “None of your business, stupid!” “Hmph.” “Oh wait- I mean I’m waiting for my cousins to get here. I’m sorry I always get those things mixed up...” Favorite part
I'd like to imagine "Aunt Cram" as a sort of grandma-type figure to the main cast, but really bad at it. Like keeping a purse full of rocks wrapped in paper instead of hard candy or something
The brother's Chaps say they plan on bringing Homestar Runner back this year. Maybe one of their daughters is old enough to play another girl character =p
"Hiya Homestar, whatcha doin'?" "None of your business, stupid--oh wait, I mean waiting for my cousins to get here. I'm sorry, I always get those two things mixed up." 🤣🤣🤣 I'm dying.
And now: This Homestar: Why Ganondowf? WHYYYYYY! *pause video to laugh for about a minute* *replay* *Homestar manages to put Marzipan in bottle* Homestar: *Zelda tune* Doo doo doo doooooooo! YOU CAUGHT A MARZIPAN! *pauses video yet again to laugh for yet another minute*
And they somehow never mentioned Strong Glad. I STILL want to know what their plans were for her. EDIT: I didn't remember posting this before they did a toon adaptation of "The Homestar Runner Goes For the Gold".
+RasterOfMandomness Be grateful there isn't an ironically named character named "Strong Suck." That sounds like an insult directed at Strong Sad. Strong Suck would've been the best of the Strongs, naturally able to outdo Strong Bad, Strong Sad AND Graw Mad!
@@loraleijessick9581 Oh excuse me www.google.com/search?q=bob+dylan+hurricane&rlz=1C1CHBF_enUS881US881&oq=Bob+Dylan+hu&aqs=chrome.0.0j46j0j69i57j0j46j0l2.3726j0j7&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8
Also a shame this is the one of the only times we see a railroad or any rail-related vehicle, besides that trolley from "Mr. Poofers Must Die" and that one time Marzipan mentions photographing railroad tracks, presumably the same ones shown.
Homestar's cousins were really kinda cute! I'd kinda like to see Humidibot make appearances in future episodes and just be referred to in the feminine. No reason that little guy has to be a guy. :)
yeah but yeah but dude legible text on a body? that means she couldn't just flipmirror when she turned sidewise that's extra work! the chappies didn't have that kinda time back then. There were heart containers to collect, man!
I understand that it's a temptation when Disney backs a truck full of money up to your door but Homestarrunner is infinitely funnier that Two More Eggs could ever be. It was like Homestar without teeth. Here's hoping Homestar can get his own regular show one day.
The Spin N Say was removed from the site for "unknown reasons" (probably fear of lawsuit). It's not even on the wiki (although this cartoon is, but it refers to the toy as "A Pull-String Toy").
I love how despite being Homestar’s cousins, they still call him Uncle Homestar since they were voiced by The Brothers Chaps’ niece and nephew. It was likely too funny/cute to change for such a small scene.
The Legend of Zelda is chiefly responsible for my continued and cheerfully willing neglect of friends, family, education, employment, and general personal growth. When I die, all I want written on my Tombstone is the following: GAME OVER CONTINUE?
