I am thinking it would be easy. I am looking for prices just for the bridges for my bottom later. I am waiting for the snap in now. Should be done with everything in 1 month.
Ok, lets say you get a snap in denture. Can you you get a cheap full bridge instead in the future and what are some reasonable prices for them. I know they are made of different materials, porcelain, acrylic and zirconia. How much would something like that cost. I already have 4 implants for the bottom. Going to get regular denture for the top. Im waiting on the snap in now. But I might want something else later. Money is the issue. Please give me an idea of prices just for the bridges?
Have a question my dentist want me get hybrid snap on denture with 4 titanium post can u wear them to sleep in or should I get the fixed kind I don’t like taking anything out of my mouth are they hard to come out in if u did get hyped snap on dentures I hear u can sleep with but have to remove them
Hello, I watch all your videos & wish you had an office in Virginia. I have a question. I have snap in dentures with 4 implants to hold them. The problem is I still have my bottom teeth & the top denture doesn’t line up with my bottom natural teeth so I cant bite into so much as a noodle because they don’t connect. After several times begging them to fix the top ( one front tooth & canine tooth on same side) I’m told they can’t. My question is… can my denture be re-sculptured? Aspen dental is the worse & I think the girl is either lazy or scared to make a change to them. Or, maybe they can’t be fixed to align with the bottom? Spent over 20,000 & hate wearing them. Please help answer, I’m losing my mind. :(
hey arlette. sometimes a single implant supported denture opposing your own teeth can be very challenging to get the bite right if your own teeth are not in good shape, have the right bite, etc.. it would be helpful if you sent me a pic and i'd give you my opinion
Do the implant anchor points used for a snap in denture provide enough stimulation to prevent bone deterioration? I made sure to check and double check and that particular issue wasn't addressed. At around the 3:55 mark you mentioned the topic of bone deterioration, with regular dentures, as being a contributing factor to why regular dentures continue to become less stable over time. You didn't specifically stipulate whether the implant anchors of a snap in denture would provide enough stimulation to the bone to prevent further loss of bone matter. Which is what I'm really curious to know about.
I just got my snap in lower denture and I am having such problems removing it each day. My dentist said he could shorten the locators(?) so the denture would be easier for me to remove. Did you ever hear of this being done and does it work? Thank you for your help.
in general, I think it matters who makes your denture. if you get a snap on denture, you want to make sure the denture is a high quality fitting denture before they put the attachments in it. this will ensure no gaps for food to get in under while you're eating. same thing with the all on 4.
Why don't u pro's make us temp teeth w plastic beads like I make? They fit and stay in great and man, that material is HarD . Just build us a new one every few mo. S. Make a consult fee. Those' d add up to 1200 a yr . I tell ya , they r a pain to make at home. I keep redoing mine to remove stain and smooth out. I need maybe 1/3 the size plate in roof of mouth. They form around the teeth I still have and stay put. U can chew anyrhing.
