The Bible does not say that Thomas actually did touch Jesus’ wounds! Read very carefully! Thomas never touches Jesus. It just doesn’t say it! And also, Thomas comes to believe Jesus only after Jesus’ explains things and not because Thomas touched Jesus!

Rabbi, you do not understand many things. Jesus had to ascend to the Father and for this reason he did not allow Mary to touch him, we do not know why he could not. None of the major Jewish prophets were ever killed by “the Jews.” A very few of them were murdered by specific kings, and those kings were immediately punished. If Jesus existed and if the crucifixion story is true, the deed was carried out by Pilate, who seemingly enjoyed crucifying Jews (mostly men) who had fallen afoul of him. No Jewish legal body has the authority to carry out such a sentence. In fact and practice, the death penalty by the Sanhedrin was very rare and NEVER included crucifixion. Jesus was back to being an angel after God resurrected him 1 Peter 3:18. Jesus, as did angels in the past, took on a human form to be seen. Thomas doubted that Jesus was alive. Jesus asked Thomas to touch him to show that he (ie. Jesus) was not an apparition. Mary however, was clinging to Jesus. Jesus in John 20:17 had to ascend to heaven to put his blood sacrifice on the true ark of covenant, which is in heaven. Later its called the ark of testimony in Rev 11. Jesus did for your sins. The first five books of the Jewish Bible (called “Tenakh) were written by Moses and collectively called Torah. It contains the Laws.
