In this video, Michelle shares her Top 3 Reasons Why Your Fingers Overlap when you try to make a fist. This is fairly common after a finger injury when range of motion is limited.
If your fingers are crooked or overlapping on one another when you try to make a fist, then this video can provide answers as to why that could be happening.
If you recently had a finger injury you may have noticed your fingers overlapping when you try to bend your fingers into a fist. Finger joint stiffness, severity of your injury, and a normal finger cascade can be the reasons why your finger is crooked or overlaps on to the neighboring finger.
The good news is that 2 of the 3 reasons are considered fairly normal. And as your finger motion improves, your finger or fingers will not overlap anymore!
Always keep in mind that the severity of your injury and whether or not you sought out medical attention for your injury may influence your outcome. See Disclaimer below.
In this follow along video, you'll learn how to increase your finger mobility by moving the small joints of your fingers. By the end of these exercises your whole hand will feel more flexible and free from stiffness.
