I recently had a car accident and the injury I had was to my middle finger. its been a month and ive still got swelling to my metacarpophalangeal joint.
Thank you for your video's. I am so glad I found them and you have helped me immensely. I broke my radius. With your excellent instruction I have improved my range of motion.
Thank you Michelle for all your videos. May I ask what's your take on shockwave therapy after a wrist fracture? 6 weeks after my radius fracture, I started physiotherapy. My practitioner decided to use shockwave, which I find very painful. It makes me cry, so they tell me 'no pain, no gain' and that I have low tolerance to pain. I understand physiotherapy is painful but I wonder if I could ask for more gentle ways to improve mobility (such as the exercises in your video).
I will try this because im trying much to move my finger it almost got better, whenever i bend it too much, it swells and pains, i will try, will this work because its been 9 months
I was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis three months ago. My left wrist was swollen, stiff and painful. I have been following your supination, flexion, extension videos and feel a world of difference. Can’t thank you enough!
This seems to be helping - loosens the joints - able to open and close fingers. Now: please advise what to do about the small bump in my palm below the big finger. I have trigger finger in both big and ring fingers. MANY THANKS FOR YOUR HELP!!!
I'm a week away from 2 months in. Dr. Took cast off because fingers are unnormaly stiff.. I can't straiten all the way up and can't make a full fist. So he said o weight but do finger exercises. My question should I try and zip things too and any tips for me. I can't go to p.t. because a loved one has cancer. Please help me and thank you
Thank you very much for your generous advices. I just found them, after I had a surgery a month ago. My finger still triggers, less but still does. I think I will try to do the exercices you recommend, even if I had this surgery, what do you think? I must say that I was doing a few things you firmly recommend NOT to do to try to recover. So, thank you again for your videos.
I just had one removed behind a muscle on the side of my neck 4 weeks ago. There were some nerves involved too. The recovery has been hard to say the least. I’m still painful, and have partial range of motion in my arm on that side. As of today I regret having it removed.
I just got my left thumb injection today. It was 2 years ago I had the first…. My right injection was a fail. Still with burning pain at times… yes lots of ouches. Can exercise help? Doctor said it’s pretty severe degenerative arthritis
I have osteoarthritis in both hands, very painful tried lots of things your video so helpful. Where could I but the tubing you put round pens, brushes etc please ?
Hi, I am a subscriber to your channel. I had hand surgery (carpal tunnel) about two months ago. I am currently not able to use my hand well, I cannot fully make a fist, and my fingers are very stiff and dry. Also, my shoulder hurts a lot and I can't do things like tie my hair. I would like to know your opinion and what exercises would be helpful for me.
I got a bone bruise injury in my right arm close to 2 months ago from a fall at the local grocery store and the only way I prevented from having swollen fingers was to use both the elastic bandage/gauze a little more loosely than usual instead of tightening it to help with/the blood flow and not getting purple ones when you lose circulation
Mam, I am having pain in my thumb. After taking X-ray, the doctor said that there is a slight crush due to which it is being bandaged. Part of my thumb is bandaged for 1 month. After removing the bandage, there is pain in the thumb. Or the thumb is on the side of the niche. I am not in the mood please🙏 mam help me what should I do
After every 1 week, the doctor did a bandage or opened it. I did the bandage for 3 weeks continuously. Or when the bandage opened, there was a lot of pain in the thumb, a lot of swelling or pain, how much pain was there in the thumb, but I tried to make it more fashionable. When I told this to the doctor, he said that my thumb is getting better or it will be cured by doing exercises instead of bandaging, but I am doing exercises and I am not feeling any swelling or pain in my thumb niche. This is the problem when I try to straighten my thumb, it seems as if I have no strength in my thumb, please please please tell me how my thumb has turned towards the niche, due to which I am not able to do anything please. 🙏mam guide me
