ohmymy.. this feels like a throwback episode. idk if it's just me but i definitely loved the OG feel of hdigh where it's just jae being a curious kid + diane's insights + jae and diane sharing their own stories, getting deep and end up teasing each other and laughing hard. that's what hdigh meant to me. i miss their soft voices and "fake laughs 😂". it was just so homey. i know it's impossible at this point but i miss it so much and wish to have that back. all i can do is listen to episodes 1-20 and this episode over and over. alexa's smart but ...DIANE and JAE... man they just match perfectly and that made the show addicting.

God i missed Jae and Diane!!!! No hate to alexa but her energy and voice changed the whole atmosphere of this show. Jae and Diane just fits the whole “how did i get here” concept so perfectly, it’s like they were made for this. Can they like make a separate podcast for Alexa? Jae and Diane are like the homey, peaceful type which matches the “quiet midnight” vibe of hdigh

DIANE IS BACK!!! I’m so happy.Alexa’s great but imo she’ll be better with her own show. HDIGH is so much more natural and comfortable to listen to with just Jae and Diane as hosts. I really hope there’s more Jae-Diane episodes in the future

Same I get scared rly easily whenever it comes to horror movies ;( and I’m an adult now for crying out loud! 😂 like ik that one time there was a movie commercial on tv and so I was like ooh, this sounds promising, it even looked like a sci-fi film too! And so I decided to check out the trailer right, but as soon as it got towards the end there there were some rly scary unexpected pop-ups and so I was just like oh god why did I watched the whole entire trailer 😆 ;( and for like the next 3-4 nights, I couldn’t sleep properly bc of it ugh 🤦‍♂️

Love AleXa to death, but I do miss the dynamic of Jae and Diane. I feel like the newer episodes they just kind of read the articles whereas before the really did “live our best lives on the internet” and get lost in other topics that was super interesting. It had a homey vibe. Although the new episodes are more informative they have a more energetic vibe bc of AleXa and it’s louder. Different from the homey, gentle tone of og eps. I love listening to both but it is interesting how the vibe has changed.

I couldn’t agree more! Alexa’s a great girl but jae and diane really owned this show. Not literally ofc, but u know what i mean? Jae and Diane were a great pair and a match like that doesn’t come often. Really hoping they could redirect this show to how it initially was. No hate to Alexa though! I think she’ll shine so much with a show of her own. She’s really smart

Just like Jae, i am not afraid watching films or documentaries about murderers, serial killers, etc. but if it's a horror film with a lot of fiction ghosts or whatever, that's when I really get scared lol.

My bf NEVER gets scared by ANYTHING horror related and I am CHICKEN SHIT scared of horror movies and when we were watching Hereditary, U got so scared I yelled SO loudly THAT scared my bf to the point he jumped. opposite with jae, i am scared of AI which maybe somewhere in future will replace human itself, but im okay with ghosts (i believe they exist but ghost, you just have to sit there) except zombie because there's probability human will turn into zombie (idk whether it's specified to 'ghost' but it's horror)

yanie boo Yes 😭 it wasn’t just read this, read that. there were real conversations we related to and learned from. jae and diane made me like hdigh. out of the people who co-hosted hdigh with jae, diane will always be my favorite. i’ve listened to “night owls vs early birds” episode so many times now and i would still listen to it more than the new episodes.
