Vimoh is right in that he wants to control the frame and not be seen as a figure that can be questioned.. But one thing we must remember is how he used to behave in the past when facing non-godi interviewers. He is very uncomfortable and unable at a personal level to deal with challenging questions which can be followed up rigorously. Apart from the famous Karan thapar interview, there is also a very telling interview with a reporter on a helicopter during his CM days. He has a very high narcissistic personality disorder and megalomania. These traits make it very hard for him to emotionally face up questions. He is capable of answering it, but it probably stresses the hell out of his ego. And that is why he said he learnt a lesson "how I must handle the media" (BBC doc). He has done exactly that, completely disempowered the media.

Every questions that media has, those answers are given by the respective ministers. So every question has been answered by BJP but not by Modi.
