My company was born out of my own frustration in building a new network. It was expensive, boring, often irrelevant information, and lame events. I asked around and realized most people hate networking because a) they don't know how to do it well b) they are all doing it on their own c) the events aren't adequately helping people to genuinely connect. So I listened to the pain points, experimented with solutions, then started a company branded with that research. My company helps entrepreneurs to be inspired, grow, and connect to the right people.

If you want to just make money it is better and easier to invest in the markets. No staffing costs, no rent,, no loans nothing just pure money chasing. Business is about making money but it is more about passion. If you are going into business without passion you will not put in the hours and take an interest in your business model.
Thank you for this video, it's a great reminder. I am fortunate to say that when I started my business, it was from exactly that place of wanting to add value and do good in the world. It wasn't because I was told so, it was simply what was in my heart. I facilitate African Healing Circles and Retreats for Women, and I LOVE it. At some point along the way though, I forgot to focus on the reason why I do what I do, and started to worry about numbers and health issues. But ultimately it is my WHY that keeps me going and is bringing me back to greater health. So thank you for the reminder!

Your contents really speaks to me well now I realize what mistake I got in to, but i try to make things better now and focus on more to my customers journey with my business. Having no mission make it really hard to pursue things trying to make a quick buck really almost destroy all my selfesteem.
My dad owns a company, he is enjoying that job a lot but I cant say he earns a huge amount of money, I still think he has a big motivation to look after us and to pay for me the stay in Australia and things like that which are helpful for my future, its also some type of motivation, isnt it?

Wow its strange when we ask for something some how we attract it. Ive been listening to sams videos alot these past months and this one really explains why the hell some times i make great money at my side buisness then i dont. I love what i do but i have to stop thinking about the money and find the purpose of why am i doing what i do and what i want it to do for people without thinking about the reward but i guess since our society is so reward driven, ill do this if i get this than this is why we dont seem to have on going success?
so what if the thing i'm passionate about something not related to business directly or not fast figured out thing like physics. i like physics i don't get bored quickly when learning or researching about physics. i am starting with "barbering niche" because i know about barbering a little.
Great content!!! We are very happy that you offer your program for 2.000 Dollars. :)) Otherwise some of us wouldn't be able to afford it at all - which would be a shame. Another way of income some people practice is to donate any amount of money via paypal if you feel your work made a change in other people's lives in hindsight, when they feel really grateful for the value you provided them. I like the model a lot. Because it is about the value, not the money. You're rich enough - but the fact that your program is worth a lot more than 2 grand - you could generate with this model/concept mentioned above new income for new projects or even humanitarian work that provides real value in other areas as well (generating money in return). I wonder if you have any new project or any new ideas about your business on your mind that you would like to pursue more? What will come after accelerator?
What if somebody says to themselves that their purpose is to make something great, but think that the biproduct will be money... that way their purpose is still to make money, but instead they use the purpose as a vehicle for money... it seems near impossible to care for customers when you're broke and hungry...

Hi Sam, how do you get six thousand people to listen to this crap? Don't get me wrong, it's not that what you talk about is bullshit. But -at least in Spain - I find it very hard for people to follow these kind of videos (talking about business or whatever you are developing or doing or selling . Your style is very simple and easy, just you on an iphone talking about whatever. And still you manage to engage a crowd to follow what you are saying online. I find that people here don't have this want to know and learn basis, they use facebook/ youtube to enjoy and fun, and I find it very hard to use these communication channels to make business "cos nobody wants to listen to my shit, they just want to see cat videos"
