My biggest issue with this years fifa is the passing, I never seen it go to the wrong person so often. Times where I put 3-4 bars of power on passing and they pass it 10 yards instead. I just don’t know how that aspect got worst.
@@19822andy When you switch it press L2, floated pass, with good power, and that'll never happen. You can even press L2 and R1 while passing to get more power on it.
Golden rule of FIFA: If you're one goal up, you're no goal up. Because you just know if there's only a gap of one, some BS is going to happen in those final 15 minutes.
Not just that, you will almost inevitably have a fellow player run into you, or someone horribly mess up a pass around midfield ending up nowhere NEAR where you aimed it at. And that's the worst part. The part where the game takes control of the player you're controlling away from you in order to make the game more 'exciting'. Runs stopped for no reason other than to receive a bad pass from the AI, strikers ducking under the ball on the **6 yard line** because the game thinks the guy on the far wing was supposed to receive the cross, passes become through balls, through balls become passes etc. etc. etc... You cannot play 5 matches in a row without some flavor of BS happening. The game is rife with examples like this, and the fact that, for the past couple of years now, you'll get banned for bringing it up on the EA forums just so they can pretend it doesn't exist is telling. The state of the franchise is outright depressing. I just want to play a game of soccer, you know? One where i don't see my Player Career RTG League 2 club yeet the Spurs out of the FA Cup semis in their first season.
Yup, and have been for several years. The good news is that getting a forum ban has no effect on your actual account (and ability to play the game) but yeah, the forums are a joke.
Fifa 22 was the first Fifa I stopped playing after a few months. What drove me crazy was the defense. That even the midfielder never takes up the opponents' runs. Which means that when the opponents reach one's penalty area, ends with a situation where your 4 defensive players must take care of 6-7 attacking players. Meanwhile your midfielders are just standing there, brain dead and watching.
Happens to me so much during career mode. And if you play as a ST you can't help at all. Literally the other team always has an advantage and none of the defenders want to close the gaps 😡😵
Ikr my defenders would just stand in the penalty area like fricking pigeons without covering any opponent even the guy who is literally waiting the pass IN FRONT OF THE GOAL POST
I'm so glad I haven't played FUT this year. Saved so much time. For anyone else out there who isn't enjoying it, just quit. Play a bit of seasons and career mode if you really want to play a football game. They can both be annoying, but at least you don't spend hours upon hours grafting to keep your team above the curve and worrying about losing value on the transfer market.
Coop seasons is where it's at, me and my pal have had the time of our lives, we dont take it seriously and just laugh the scripting and nonsense off, but when it gets too stupid we just take a break and come back another day.
One of my favorites is EAs “fix” for tackling is to put your player into a freeze or falling animation after they get tackled to prevent them from getting the ball back, but it only does that when it feels like it. I have lost count the amount of times I’ve stolen the ball from someone high up on the pitch only for their player to have insane recovery speed and beat my player to the ball somehow instead of rewarding me for stealing the ball from their defense
See, you're right. Still the problem Is that football games shouldnt reward you. They should be Just about how physics are involved in football, so the simulation can be as real as possibile. But, of course, EA don't want It to happen.
@@alessiomatzuzzi846 exactly. It’s like they don’t want to give us an authentic game because they think we wouldn’t want it. Fifa almost has no similarities to the real game apparently the entire team can run and pressure for the full 90 minutes and not slow down, or get injured.
just conceded a goal where I read an opponents pass, my own teammate then tackled me, i still had the ball and then for some reason the ball just bounced off my foot and i then slid for it half a metre away and my leg seemed to get shorter, only for an opponent to chase it down fall over my leg and while falling execute a perfect through pass. I wish i was joking.
Half the goals I conceded are a result of getting countered because the pass I intended isn’t what the game did, or my player dribbling with his body between the defender and the ball loses it as soon as he gets touched from behind. My Opponent then runs down the field hits it straight at my keeper and it goes in after I created like 4 goal scoring opportunities only for his keeper to pull off an inhuman reaction save
Bro this is probalby one of the worst ones of all. The game registers terrible passes. It ruines so much hard work to build good play. Also the rugby style defenders that just ram you lol
I even surprised no one suspects the opponent might using those glitches since they were breeze in control while am the one who stuck in the mud and cant even move the balls for more than 3 seconds before they EASILY take the ball from me. Physically impossible. I guess thats fifa for you
Or at times it makes you have a first touch before you do it which was not intended which leads to that window to execute the pass/shot successfully to be reduced and more of the opposing player to read it.
It mostly decides using history and team strength. The better the team thats against you the worse the bounces and rebounds are against you. For example if a Mbappe shoots and hits the post the ball will most definitely land back to him or his team mate for a tap in.
@@skablerpro They try making poor players with good teams win, making defending easy and crazy AI blocks everytime...game is honestly so finished, needs zero skill
@@robertommmin5 problem is people won't take their time learning how to play the game if its gonna do everything for them. I even realized that the defenders play better when you're not controlling them, I could keep controlling an attacker and the defenders win the ball back for me, free
GK will save all the best shots and volleys but if u shoot directly at them they fall down or get out of the way of it, it’s either ur keeper is prime Buffon or karius no in between no consistency
The problem I have with this game is that it felt a lot better when it was first released and then gradually the servers got worse, the broken tactics got found out and unless your playing at a lower level you have someone with Neymar or Benz FB walking through you team now.
This happens every single year. Once I figured that out I just stopped playing. I'm not joking, every single year "the patch" comes that let's the noobs compete.

@@colinmcdermott4246 yup, and the patch is always like 2 months after game comes out. They let everybody give reviews on it how the game play is so much better blah blah blah, everybody buys their teams on ultimate team, than the magic patch comes... And suddenly nothing works, your strikers on FUT can't hit a barn door from 4 feet away and all of a sudden my 8 yr old nephew who I usually kill in the game can suddenly compete with me never passing the ball once after his striker gets it.
Player switching is *sooo random* in fifa 22. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm sure I'm not the only one experiencing this. I have settings set to show where the next player switch will be. *WHO* it will be. I press on the player switch and boom....it doesn't switch to him. More infuriatingly, the switch icon is still on the player I'm trying to control! There is nothing more frustrating than having this happen to you when defending a counter attack. Even manual analogue stick switching suffers from this same problem.
The point you mentioned about interceptions and bounce backs is by far the most annoying one imo. So now the game doesn't autocorrect passes that much anymore (it still does way too often though). Great, but now instead of getting rewarded for reading and intercepting the pass the ball bounces back to the opponent or my player gets nutmegged for no reason. So the opponent gets a second chance or even more. By far the most frustrating part imo as it happens so often. Also I'm curious if FUT Champs will be more sweaty now with the new ranking system. On the one hand you can now qualify more easily so there will be more casuals in the wl but on the other hand there are better finishes than 16-4 now which will make good players sweat for their life. If it turns out to be more sweaty we're doomed.
Same here, interceptions (and not interceptions because of AI passes) and the bounces from crappy interception animations or tackles just ruined it for me, I only play Wednesday to get my silver star, that's it.
@@martinpro4967 it goes beyond that, you intercept and the ball lands back at the opponents feet while he is in a more favourable position. It's like he did a give and go with your player, or whats worse is it lands to the oppositions player whos in a better position all together. Outright ridiculous. If were all spamming driven shots the ball shouldn't be going through us or lands kindly back to the opponent but should go wildly in random spots. so if you intercept the ball should go far and random in the general direction youre facing. But up high in the air
You can test the automatic bounce back quite easily if your opponent stops playing. If you try to take the ball without pressing tackle, 90% of the time (unless you're spot on with collecting it) it will rebound at a strange angle to one of the opponent's other players. I wonder if it has something to do with needing a perfect tackling angle, therefore in the heat of the moment in live gameplay you're being penalised for any lag where what seems like a legitimate tackle is actually suboptimal and therefore plays out as a bad tackle?? I have games where it goes for me but lots more where I just can't get the "rub of the green" and its futile.
BRO THANK YOU perfect explanation man , i can’t even enjoy the game any more, before it started happening too often i still had fun even if i lost. cause it’s usually fair but i can’t no more
The amount of times this happens is ridiculous. I had a guy who had mbappe, eto and r9, 86 militao, flashback kante and potm nkuku and I had basic ndombele, partey and Fred and then fb benzema and zola and martial and the same basic defence everyone has dominated the match 65% possession, had 16 shots, 150 passes and expected goals of 7.6 he had 3 shots used constant press in the last 20 minutes and won 3-2. How the hell is that rewarding and how does someone with a team of 100x the value of mine deserve to get such bull help from the ai
I play on PS4 and pretty much only career mode. I was surprised to see how badly they messed up the gameplay this year.. The difficulty levels are broken, with Professional being way too easy and World Class being super unfair. The AI always has the advantage when there's a loose ball or a rebound. Your AI controlled players are constantly out of position leaving HUGE gaps in defense, and since opposing AI players are always faster, the AI just counters the crap out of you spamming long balls down the wings. Now if the AI plays down the middle, then it's literally just straight ground passes through the center of the pitch because your AI controlled players just stand around gazing at the opposing AI player dribble right past them (even with pass block assistance turned on). This all leads to every match becoming a ping pong match because the AI forces you to play the same way _it_ does since that's the only way you might have a chance of scoring.
Luckily i got fifa 22 for free with ps+ so i tried another youth academy road to glory career with a selfmade league 2 team. Of course the team is very bad so i play on professional and it’s still challenging. I had a enjoyable 1st season and promoted, and that’s when the scripting bs took flight. The games were all over the place and every game was just a roll with the dice. I could either not score a single F- goal and concede 3 or I would win 7-1. It’s just so sad what fifa has become
i play only carrermode too. I have the same problems as you, but one of my worst problems is the striker positioning. He just stops running with the attack or stands around the midfield. He is not there where he has to be. When I run down to the goalline and want to pass back in to the middle every time, there is literally nobody. Even with some tactics.
@@jant8841 bro I play online seasons and this happens to me. I can be making runs or trying to make plays and my players will not move forward except my player who has the ball. An example. If you have ever been scored on right and you get the ball and move forward your team will NOT MOVE AT ALL. They will leave you out on a limb. Shit is ridiculous. For your entire team to keep its shape and move forward you have to pass the ball back to cb or the wings and then move up. I’ve scored the cheesy kickoff mbappe speed hax myself but fifa is retarded
@@trapper7954 same here, if i had pay for that piece of sht i would have kill myself. Fifa s CEO are just making money , clueless about football and zero love
I have one complaint which no ones talked and doesn’t seem to get much attention, but for me is massive. The blatantly programmed “freeze” that my player does when a tackle is coming in. It’s so painfully obvious. I press pass or I try to move the stick, and my player goes unresponsive. It’s only for a fraction of a second but it’s there. It’s there to allow my player to be tackled. I love possession football. Not for possession sake, I like to pass the ball forwards instead of trying to exploit some kind of broken pass or skill move. I want to be able to tiki taka my way into the opponents box and string some quick fire close range passing together, but I can’t. I can’t because my player has to freeze whenever my opponent presses the tackle button. Edit: When we see these glitch videos where the player stops on the spot for a few seconds, that’s the freeze I’m talking about. It’s the programmed freeze but it’s bugged and ended up lasting longer than intended.
I know exactly what you mean .. makes you look shite to your opponent.. you can point it out to your opponent but they wont see it and think you’re making excuses ..latency lag is a massive issue also .. will not be playing fifa 23
It's like when they press the jockey button. Your player goes numb and slows down even though they have 99 pace and 99 agility. It's scripted to shit only for a normal ass Upamecano to take the ball like darth vader choking people
That problem is going to last as long as EA sticks to the animation Frostbite uses. It´s pretty much a red line of that problem trough all of EAs sports games, like Madden and NHL too.
Just to offer an alternate take, I haven't played since FIFA 17 and I'm loving almost every minute I play of 22. I find even the simple things like just moving my player around to be so much more enjoyable than in the previous FIFAs (also playing on Xbox Series X, which feels like a huge step-up to me compared to the One). While all of your complaints are valid points, almost all of them were definitely present to some degree in the older FIFAs as well. So I think that while I don't have the perspective of the last 4 games to directly compare, I'd imagine a lot of your negative impression of the game is probably related more to burnout than anything else. After what I assume are several years in a row of grinding the game and dealing with each FIFA's individual nonsense, I can see how it would be incredibly easy to get burnt out and fed up. That's why I took so many years off playing and probably won't be buying FIFA again for another few years after this one.
Agree with this statement, played FUT in 13, 14 and 15 then only took it back up last year on pc. Now playing this year on ps5 and its such an improvement in every aspect that it makes even irritating games much better. I think this year playing on old gem probably feels like a re skin of 21 which must feel quite grinding
I have never recieved as many red cards on a FIFA as i have on this game. I intercept the ball llike 3 times and it always bounces back all that's left to do is chop the fk out of the opponent to stop the bs attacks
@@bazzle_brush you do understand that me being in perfect position for an interception and then having it bounce back to the opponent isn't my fault right?
does Anyone else notice, that when the aponent tackle you and then you player does a wierd animation, then immediately when the game switches you to your other player, it makes your other player act as if it was him who got pushed? sorry it is really hard to explain.
Quitting FIFA was such a bonus for me, I’m no longer as stressed, but my time, energy and effort in other things such as the gym of my studies and overall it makes such a difference. I know it’s just a video game but for me personally it’s made a huge difference
The game is patently unfair. It is rigged. You know when your opponent is going to score. Go bavk and instant replay those goals. Balls passing through hands, bounce backs, legs crossing over a leg, your defender lifts his leg to allow the ball through and DON'T GET MY STARTED IN GOALKEEPERS. I cut my gameplay to 1-2 games a day.
I've stopped playing this game. was a regular for years. first year i've actually stopped. dunno how it took you this long to realise that fifa 22 the worst one bro. Game is fully gone.
I’ve played fifa on and off going over a decade now. So so SO many hours spent on these games. I’d say I’m fairly average, I don’t claim to understand the styles of play and gameplay metas, but I’ve always been fairly decent. In previous games, they were annoying to lose, but it never seemed like the game was actively trying to stop me winning. Shooting and Goalkeeping, one of these two is completely awful and I can’t tell which. I’ve had xg of 6 consistently, about 15 shots a game, and have lost so many times 2, 3, 4 nil to people who have about 5 shots. The keeper can save the titanic sometimes, and other times, I kid you not, has saved the ball going straight at him, hitting the post on the deflection and then bouncing off his own head in to the Goal. Sometimes the keeper seems to have a stroke, I should probably start aiming at defenders to abuse the awful deflection system. Corner after corner stopped on the line, but I can shoot from outside the box finesse and it goes in nearly every time????? The bounce back system is either complete bullshit, or it’s the most clear scripting I’ve ever seen in a game. I never bought in to that argument for previous fifas, but you can literally feel a shift in the game randomly, where every pass will go to an opponent, players stop finding space, and every block goes straight back to the opposition. I can be all over a guy but be only leading 1-0, for nearly every time to concede in the last minute for what can only be assumed as intentional drama situations, because of the bounce back moments. Don’t even get me started on the bullshit meta as well, what’s the point in even trying when every single person on the game has the same French squad variation with the SBC Benzema, Kante, varane etc. I spend ages building a team not spending real cash to be out done by some guy who sat on the market all the day buying and selling for his SBC. I genuinely think it’s the worst feature they have ever added to fifa, worst than the price ranges
Sorry for the rant if anyone read that but I just want the old fifas back, where it was fair, ultimate team had only some real money spending teams but not often, the commentary and soundtrack was better, and even looked better visually . Not to mention the user interface gets somehow worst every year, you can’t even access club items separately anymore. SO. MANY. UNTRADABLE. CARDS. I don’t know why I fall for it every single year. Bit like supporting Man Utd tbh.
@@johnmarley6240 POV: You're a casual player Who plays in old gen and its shit at the game , and surely you barely play FIFA and don't know how to do so much essential stuff in UT , many of this comments are of people who are trash at the game and don't even know that so much of the bs that happens you can deal with it doing certain things , also you're gameplay its influenced by your game settings , in next some if this bs happens too but tackles works perfectly fine and IA in general and realism is way way better , elite div btw :).
You nailed it. Honestly I think there is something to do with the online coding that breaks fifas coding to do with randomness / animations. Some games I’ll go in and anything that could go wrong does, as if everyone of my players is being hassled by two defenders (even when there is no one around them) Misplacing 3 metre passes, passing miles when you just tapped on the button. Doing a air pass when you only when for ground, taking a huge bad touch when the ball was practically stationary when it gets to his feet. Being literally unable to control and being down a ball somehow managing to miss control a chest down 20 feet to their striker. Strikers snatching at shots even when you give them time and space while the opposition can curl them in wrong footed with a 3 star weak foot player with under 70 shooting. Played for the first time in weeks yesterday and my goal keepers arm glitched out so it looked like it was broken so he tried to grab the ball one handed (needless to say he didn’t catch it or even change the direction - goal) I don’t see it as a built in momentum issue but the inconsistency in gameplay has been an issue for years. It’s as if the sliders for which you get to play on are randomised (if you play single player you know)
@@mosesbanda6861 it has always been especially when you play against legendary AI. But, you know you play against human in online. Somehow, you know both AI and the opponent are glitching on you for some reason
You are my favourite youtuber for creating these videos.. makes me feel I’m not alone lol Why don’t other youtubers speak up as well about this? Maybe this will influence the community and EA somehow eventually?
Longshots made the game fast and fun. Drop back didn’t work, goals looked cool, and it wasn’t the same repetitive buildup and goals every game. The first patch rly took the fun out of the game and turned it back into the sweaty, through ball, drop back meta that we see now
My main issues - Hitting the bar or post too often - terrible pack weight and blatant dupe reward shenanigans - GK inconsistency (unbeatable one minute and terrible the next) - passing going to the wrong player - crossing is effectively obsolete - inconsistent pace (Usain Bolt one minute then arthritic chain smoker the next) - inconsistent SB difficulty There are others, but they are the ones most relevant to me.
Ahh, the sweet, sweet catharsis of an Italian Stallion rant video that hits on nearly every complaint I have with this abomination of a game. Thank you so much, sir. You put my soul at ease, for you clear the fog that EA uses to hide their efforts to gaslight us all.
Also to add to my first comment I also feel alot of the problems came in after they started patching things, before that first or second patch kinda time, I actually felt that win or lose most of the time it was fair, and good gameplay was rewarded better, now I've had so many games go against me that shouldn't, I can't wait until fifa finally have some competition to make them actually put out a better product
I guess that will never happen because i think they own all the licenses :( so they will continue to have the soccer monopoly and continue to release the same shit game every year for €60,-
Great videos as always bro.. IMHO the thing with the finishing in the box is not the OP keepers individually. What i realized is that assistance helps you in some areas and harm in others. In this case, the shooting assistance changes the direction of the ball (in comparison to where you aimed) to a place that the keeper can reach - a contrary situation you mentioned whit the passing system. My conclusion is that the games balance all the base aspects accordingly to its own needs, to fit a bad coding. Is a lot easier to program something automatic than random situations.
For me this is the most enjoyable FIFA in years. I do agree with all of your points tho, but the bullshit in the game will always be there and it has been there for years. Ive learned to accept it. Sometimes it will be against you, sometimes it will help you. The only 2 things in this game i really dislike is the bullshit corner glitch, which is litteraly undefendable, and constant pressure. Sometimes im in complete control of a game for 60 minutes, but after that i cant manage to get a single pass to a teammate because of AI interceptions. Other than that, i actually enjoy the game this year. Might also help im a lot better at it then previous years
I agree, I have said to friends I am having lots of fun this year and the game is very good, but obvious errors and bad things make it annoying at times.
Completely agree with you I think this year the objective players have been good and fun to get also the promos have been very good. I do feel chemistry needs to go now though to allow people to use more players. I also would like to see daily knockout tournaments be put back in the game and some extra rewards on rivals for more wins.
@@RealistGunner i said it is the most enjoyable FOR ME. Im actually quite good at this game, because using football IQ i can actually score goals with nice passing play, which is very refreshing for me. Last year literally every goal i scored and conceded was just skillmove spam hoping to glitch through the defence. No FIFA game will be perfect. FIFA 22 is also far from it, it has a lot of issues too. But in my opinion the issues are a lot less annoying then years before
@@RealistGunneryoure completely free to disagree. Im not having too much trouble with finishing tbh. Its all about learning the mechanics of the game. I know exactly how to shoot and when to shoot by now. Cutting inside on your strong foot? Power shot near post. On the outside on your strong foot? Power short far post. Have a bit of time and space when going one on one with the keeper? Ball roll around him and score. Obviously bullshit still happens, but what works really well for me is to really focus and try to take note of the angle you shot from when you score, and try to replicate it next time. And even though i have alot of 5* skillers in my team, i still think good passing plays should be more effective to score then just glitching through. Last year i lost a lot of times even though i was clearly the better player, while this year that has only happened on a few occasions
@@RealistGunner Brother. You need to actually read what im saying. I never said shooting isnt inconsistent and i never implied you have trouble scoring. Im just saying that i myself dont have too much trouble scoring, and yes shooting can be inconsistent sometimes but to me it isnt that much of a problem
Hi Italian Stallion! I'm just wondering, I live in AUS, and the game alone costs $100. I normally play Season's and Pro Clubs, should I buy this game or no?
My issue is online, it lags. A LOT. I have lagged out and “lost connection even tho I was winning and I had perfect internet. The passing is even worse. My keeper turned from a 90 rated to a 13 rated 🤦♀️. FIFA is all about luck, I have had so many unlucky rebound and I know I’m better than my opponent and I lose, the passing(again) is horrible. I cross to a specific player and it crosses to the keeper . FIFA needs to be fixed
Yeah fifa 21 was bad as hell but fifa 22 is so randomized, you don’t have any type of play styles you are just left stuck dribble until you or your opponent gets impatient. That is boring as hell, at least in previous fifas you had those mechanics that you could improve but now is so stupid
I quit around 2-3 weeks ago cold. It just wasn’t fun anymore. Initially I thought the game made some improvements but overall that’s not the case. Gameplay is boring and that’s the main thing.
Gave it a go myself but my god its horrendous this year. No wonder they've given up on it. Playing against cpu is impossible. Newcastle turn into 11 Ronaldos, flick flick step over, back heel across the box, goal
I have literally been feeling the game being unfair for the last few days and everything he brought up in this video where what I experienced and happened to me ingame
This game is garbage. Winning in fifa 22 is literally dependent on how the system works not how good you plays no matter how good you play you still lose I don’t know how but you lose. like feeling sluggish, the players feels that they are crippled they can’t run at all ,bad tackles , bad passes ,bad finishing ,bad luck in general. On the other side your opponent is having fun not doing any thing and still win😂
Excatly as you say in the video. Also In previous fifas (18) you could get to a point where you could control your players perfectly -like you had the shoes of your player in your hands-, which was a really satisfying and enjoyable experiance no matter the result. Now It's like a constant struggle to stop your players from sliding around and doing unnecessary moves, you never ordered in the first place ( and of course I have cont. agile dribbling off). Or you have your players momentarily freeze after the smallest of touches, like wondering what to do, "hmm, Shall i pass or not?", waiting for the defender to block them. As for me, for the shake of practice, I play a lot of squad battles legendary and it seems like the most important skill of all is right stick switching, which is, of course, absolutely important, but is it a satisfying game experience? Switching players and keeping shape, waiting? For how long? For how many rebounds? For how many ridiculously failed passes? And I'm winning and there's not the slightest of smile in my face. It's only "you f@ckin ridiculous thing they somehow call football". And there are other aspects too that make me really wonder if people at EA have ever watched football. Dribbling backwards, changing direction with no respect to physics-gravity-momentum, psychotic n@zis as defenders-ballerinas. Where have they seen these? Really! And not to speak of the crooked math -where one side gets error to the max, in shooting, passing whatever. All in all, Fifa22 feels more like an unpleasant duty than a game.
Another thing computer controlled players for squad battles can keep momentum and slide tackle in any direction regardless of physics and can also stop to stand tackle in the same way too even if they are looking away at full sprint. Its bs
After two weeks playing I'm just damaging my mental health! Fut is so ridiculous. It's okay to loose, but the way the game is structured it makes you vomit! Loosing contrasts like never before. Players running on the line are unstoppable no matter how you tackle it. The worst part is the selection! I can't select the player I want, and although I put a defensive mode, the midfielders never help the defenders. The tackle in the area is so bad. Also FUT is definitely for people who spend money on it! Sometimes I dominate games against all icons, shoot 20 times, ball possession 65% and I can't score, then they do 3 shot and 3 goals. It's infuriating. This is the last fifa I bought! Not worth your mental health
Well said bro. Theres no beauty in the game any more. Its just people abusing broken mechanics and using the fastest, "meta" players to run like headless chickens for 90 mins. Tired of this bs. Where's the skill? There's no reward for good gameplay. You're pretty much forced to play one particular type of way. Appreciate the vid man, stay keeping it real 👊
Exactly this is what always in comments is missing. Game always getting dumber and dumber. You have to peak the teams with fastest player and hold the sprint and go through the defenders Playmaking and thoughtful football is in fifa a joke.
Got FIFA with the ps plus. I know it's late and so most teams on FUT have good players. For me the most frustrating thing is matchmaking. The teams I'm playing against have all special pack players and I am still with a majority rare gold players. I feel like most of the time I'm losing because individual players on the opposition side is just too good. Shots from outside the box or very tight angles just go in. I find this so unfair.
Hi stallion, I think u forgot to mention 2 things on the defending aspect. The AI is corrupt in a sense where many goals that I and many concede are due to the cb’s randomly drifting when you’ve positioned a player so that they don’t have to do so. Goalkeepers are either hero or zero. And the most important thing is rebounds, lately in fifa I’ve conceded stupid goals due to rebounds from a good block as well as me scoring goals that should’ve been blocked successfully and not bounce back to an opponent. Only thing I will always argue for fifa 22 is that it has the best display menus however that’s about it. Also petition to bring back fifa 18 pitches
I conceded a kickoff goal where my player had no where to go but he ran directly at my ai controlled cb and instead of it auto switching it me, my cb Legit moves out of the way allowing him to a clean path to goal
@@rumi2059 yeah kick off goals are definitely still a thing this year. I fear literally every single kick off especially half time when I'm in the lead. Your entire defence act as if they are asleep and so do midfield at kick off. The team doesn't move for ages and you control one player at a time it's infuriating at times.
Another issue is the following: You are sprint running next to the attacker on the side. Then the attacher instantly stops and instantly turns inside the box and your defender stops after a couple of miles like he was running with a motorcycle.
@@raymondforest5799 i tried both and i found out that ps5 version is better , Yeah ps5 got a stronger def but the AI overload the ball not the players , in ps4 version the def cut the passing options all the time , man to man all the time no free man to pass to him If i have to choose between the 2 versions i will choose the ps5 version
@@raymondforest5799 u can play some football in the ps5 version but in ps4 version it's just Fortnite , holding the ball with player and turn around the world 500 times ... Trash game
Bruh you just made me realise that it is actually not that bad if realisome isn't in the game then it would be completley unfair and not fun because it wouldn't feel like your actually playing a good soccer game
This is my first FIFA since I played 18 and my fucking god I'm never coming back. I'm addicted as hell to the game but it literally never changes. They decided they want to make a video game as mentally draining and frustrating as real life football (THEY EVEN HAVE HELLEN KELLER REFEREES!!!!) I didn't think it was possible to make defending so pointless but yet it really fucking is.
For the first time in over a decade, I didn’t buy this years fifa, and I’m happy to say I don’t miss it one bit. Now I don’t have to spend $60 and however many $ on packs, my weekends are freed up to go out or game with friends. I don’t stress over the BS in this game that costs me games. I’m finally free.
Same Brother. Played for amlost 10 Years. Day in Day out. -at least that's what it feels like when i watch back. There are so many rewarding Games to play other then Fifa. But also, the Weekends are MINE again! No feeling of 'having to play' x amount of Games is just pure Joy!
@@DDavid-ty2on I know right?! There were nights last year when my friends would ask to play something fun like among us or jackbox, and I would tell them no because I would have to go grind FIFA games that I don’t even enjoy. God I was an idiot.
A lot issues Stallion stated are definitely mostly related to the Old Gen version of the game. While New Gen has issues as well, Old Gen is definitely a lot closer to FIFA 21 in terms of broken mechanics
@@purpleheart69420 Everyone I know who has played both versions of the game say old Gen is like FIFA 21 minus the crazy skill moves. FIFA 22 on New Gen feels like a brand new game (not saying it doesn’t have issues). Furthermore, most of the community seems to like this FIFA’s gameplay, including RU-vidrs.
@@EdgarHernandez-dq4vj I agree. Next gen is better (definitely not perfect) than last gen. Two different feels to the editions. I really find it silly to criticize a game even after purposely choosing to play an inferior version.
@@dadonodysseus1885 Exactly, thank you. I genuinely don’t understand why anyone would play Old Gen if they have access to New Gen. The quality in gameplay isn’t even close. The extra responsiveness and faster gameplay isn’t worth the poor tackling, bad goalkeeping, and overall glitchier feel you get Old Gen IMO
@@EdgarHernandez-dq4vjI feel people have a hard time adapting the slower pace of next gen. With 21, EA built a system where pace, skill moves, and brain dead through balls were rewarded. Then next gen 22 takes all that away, and no one knows how to play anymore. I think everyone needs to realize that old gen fifa 22 is literally the same as 21. EA is crooked and left old gen to rot. It sucks because next gen systems are hard to come by. Naturally, next gen isn’t close to perfect. But it is no where near 21. Saying otherwise is not honest nor fair IMO.
This is the first FIFA ever where I got so fed up with playing that I quit during TOTS, I then started playing PES and I couldn't be happier, the game feels much more like a football game and the gameplay feels rewarding. FIFA's gameplay is just enfuriating and not worth playing.
I know the gameplay isn't so good as usual. I like this FIFA better because its more playable than previous years as the gameplay just feels better, but that's my opinion.
I disagree with you on some point(which I rare). I genuinely think this’s the best fifa since fifa 17. My biggest issues are the rebounds. If EA want that feature in because it’s ‘realistic’ they should reduce the rate at which it occurs. And the assisted passing where you read where your opponent wants to pass, but the game takes it the other way. Idk why that is a thing. Perhaps to reward noobs? It’s so stupid. What I like about this fifa is, there’s no ‘meta’ perhaps the corner glitch, but as of recent(past 2 days, I think EA hot fixed it).
What about when you recive the ball with goalkeeper and press x 0.5sec earlier, and ball goes straight in the net? -What about when CAM and ST going at the same direction when you are on counter?
The worst thing is when EVERY interception bounces off you when opponent does a normal pass and then when I do a driven pass its velcro interception, ffs Fifa 22 dead for me and its not even Xmas yet
Fifa 22 worst? Are you kidding me? Fifa 21 was utter mega ultra cosmonautic garbage shit created by same epitetic team. But the reality is with every fifa game. With every update it becomes worse and worse just because vanilla is mostly kinda fine.
This is indeed truly about random things happening. First WL game today i was dominating a guy (5.1 expected goals compared to 0.8 at halftime) and i was winning 3-2 at the end. He pulls out a finesse from 30m with some random dude and obviously scores, just to try something as showcased in this video, runs to the backline and does a mindless cross inside so it can bounce between all my players and keeper just to give him an open goal once again...really feels like it has no point in doing anything if it's all gonna go wrong because of randomness anyway
I don't think this is my least favorite fifa, but I've found myself pretty burnt out at this point that I just have way more fun playing other games instead
From the past experience, do you think EA will listen and try to patch the game into a fair competitive one? it is such a joke the have tournaments for this RNG game that has little skill gap. Hearthstone is more esport like than this.
Your video reinforce me not to play online anymore. Yes, i have a 10 million team with 5 meta icons… online play is so broken with lagging and input delay. Skill move and green shot does not work there properly. On top of all that, these unfair advantage and randomness happens. Sometimes it is on my side, sometimes it is on their side. It is purely broken gameplay. Also, why the hell can someone constant press 24/7!!!
lol . may be it's you who enjoy it's terrible game play. now it's just pure randomness and luck and having unrealistically strong versions of players .
Having only played FIFA 21 and 22 since the good old days, i'm less jaded, and feel 22 is better than last years title. Mostly because there are more moments of footballing joy, However, I am praying these new titles are good because in general the direction of FIFA is a ridiculous RNG simulator where footballing decisions are rarely rewarded. It's not going to change whilst they stack billions on billions so the only hope is for new titles to reset the direction of football simulators. Fingers crossed for a beautiful (balanced) game in the future. I've enjoyed watching your gameplay in 22 more than 21 as well - which I think demonstrates the improvement on last years garbage.
The most annoying thing in fifa: the other teams shoot and your goalkeeper does a pathetic dive and doesnt even attempt to save it just dives to the side and puts his hand down to his side and lets it go in
What has fifa points got to do with anything. This year's fifa is miles better than 21 and 20... it's just a fact. You can actually create decent football phases. Anyone crying about fifa 22 has a very short memory.
My biggest issue is that defending is a headache. This is the first FIFA that I have played in years and the first one that I have ever felt inept at consistently defending well in, even though I make my fair share of incredible tackles. It feels like with the same effort you toggle between being masterful and mediocre. Since defence has always been my bedrock for football games, it is a huge gripe.
i dont know for yall but i dont even play the actual game this year, im just doing sbcs and objectives once in a while escpecially this time of the year with futties, feels very satisfying getting promo cards in every pack. The gameplay isnt something to talk about really, absolutely horrible.
Mate this is the best video I've watched in a long time thank you so much for making this video this shows I ain't a crazy mad man deffo subscribed from watching this video and gonna share this video hard
I'm surprised to see no one has mentioned the constant hand balling. I normally play with all rules enabled and accept the luck that comes with hand balls but I had to turn it off because every game there's a penalty due to handball.
in the last 4 days, i have given up more than 10 own goals. Idk what to even do anymore. My GK literally slaps the ball into the goal or the ball glitches right through my defenders leg. Also I can never get an over the top through ball but somehow my opponent can constantly spam LB+Y and win them.
Im glad I can come to a video like this after getting hard stuck in div 1 and suffering a mental breakdown in tots weekend league . Am I that shit or everyone sweating like crazy?
I'll be honest, I often get fine passes and heroic saves, in my favour. I don't feel like I earn my wins, I'm not a great player and there's no way I'm making inch-passes. Sometimes the game completely plays a different pass, when mine would've been intercepted
