Hi. Good background info on the lock actuator but how can you open a door if neither inside or outside work?

I have the same issue the door will not open from inside or outside. It is the back door and you cannot get the panel off with the door closed. My husband is a mechanic and says we will have to cut into the panel to get it to the broken part and replace it. Them we will have to buy a new door panel. It has been broken for over a year and we still haven't fixed it.

Don’t cut. You can get a pick and pull the wire in the door handle opening and push and it’ll open. There are several videos on it explaingin in detail

@@clwlovestoread7598 I didn’t have to cut into the inside panel but I took out the screws securing the panel to the actual door and took a prybar and went around the edges popping the tabs. Then I use the prybar on the bottom to pry upward and was able to get a panel off. The issue after that is getting to the actuator which is still tricky with the door closed because the manual release is on the side that faces the car when it’s closed. So you can’t actually use the manual released if the car door is still closed. I am the manager of a mechanic shop and I will tell you that this is not easy and that answers a lot of people will give you are not specific to this exact scenario where the door does not open from inside or out and have to get the panel off and to access the actuator when you cannot access the manual release switch. When you get the panel off you also have to take the window motor off and the screw that secures the glass to the regulator so you can get another access panel off to get to the actuator

How do you open rear when it doesn't open? You show why it might happen but not how to open it to get the panel off in rear.

You can pull the wires in the handle on the inside and it’ll open if done it.

Hi, please help me, I have a Hyundai Santafé, I replaced myself the Rear Left Actuator lock door. I tested and the actuator work properly. But When I closed the Door, surprise is that it did not open ( no inside and not outside) What Can I do if I have not more access to the internal screws. Hopefully you can help me!!!.

Hi. Thank you. I have a Hyundai sonata 2011. Having a problem with front doors not opening from the door switch. Sometimes keyless start does not work. Have replaced 10 amp RF fuse. Hyundai say that the antennas are not seeing the fob. Please advise. Thank you
