What I find most ironic was that back when I first discovered that Grant Gustin wouldn't play the Flash in the movies, I was confused because to me it made so much more sense as a tie in to the shows. And in light of Miller's shenanigans, I think that feeling aged like wine.
The general public thinks of CW flash as a low-quality show. It's better for DC if they don't associate themselves with it, let alone tie the universes together.
no body wants the films to "tie in all the shows" cuz most of them were garbage. arrow and the flash were the only okay ones, even then they had some terrible seasons.

If Grant was brought into the DCEU, he’d make the best flash, not only due to his experience with the character but also because the writing would be a fuck ton better. the ONLY reason the show sucked at all at times, was because of the writing. I’d wager most of if not all of the actors could have been amazing had the writing been good and they had enough time to perfect it.

DC already has a bad enough rep, why would people bother to come to theaters if they start associating the show with the film, it will only worsen their rep.

grant gustin was always the obvious best choice why they went with ezra i have no clue not only did he not feel like barry allen but gustin was already in the role for years at that point so my vision of what live action barry looked like was gustin the show went to shit i get that but that was imo no fault of gustin he was amazing in the role so seeing him with a full budget of what a flash can look like in live action wouldve had me so much more pumped than ezra miller idek who he was as for supergirl i honestly liked the movie version shes always been a bit more tempered which imo the show didnt rlly do her justice on that front i didnt watch the supergirl show much though so
Supergirl suit look better than cw suit. Season 5?? This man needs to redo this video right now, season 5 was the worst suit ever. Golden boots? Comic accurate suit from the cw in season 9? You series, the head piece of the flash looks weird, the goldens ain't even fully golden.
It's kinda funny to see ezra miller still hired to be the flash even though he's been proven guilty of all the horrible things he do, While people like johnny depp and justin roiland who never been proven guilty of all the allegation that has been thrown towards them, is fired at the spot. Western society just really likes to ruin everything huh
And cw Barry has an actual team that helps,they made the hyper calorie bars and other stuff along with better money reserves to pull from for his needs and more importantly they monitor everything in the star labs HQ so a calorie counter on the suit would be redundant. They likely spent 50% of the budget on the molecules for the phasing scene, that's why some of the cgi scenes were looking like Xmen origins wolverine if it was made with PS2 graphics.the JL suit was garbage that's probably why it was fixed in the new movie.
Lmao I’m NGL I adored The Flash Movie and was out standing besides some CGI scenes but that was about 10% to the other 90% but the director of the flash and now main director of DC now directing The new Batman Brave And The Bold Movie is directed by Andy Muschietti and he stated that as long as he works for DC Ezra is the flash 😅soooo don’t get y’all’s hopes up and I don’t mind him I’m NGL you gotta separate Art From The Artist
Grant as The Flash is a very dramatic character he’s always very sad, depressed and with a worry face most of the time. He’s a good actor but if you read comics you’ll know that’s not the flash we know! After 9 seasons he is not a character that evolved he’s just the same thing… I stopped watching that show a while ago because of that. Poor writing and poor directing I almost forgot cheap VFX! One of those VFX youtubers can do a better job with no budget 😂
in my personal opinion, the s6-7 and s8-9 ones were not good for one reason. the mask. i wouldve loved the suit if the mask was changed, especially for the whole going back to the night it happened (9x10)
Personally, Ezra Miller's current suit is awful. His justice league suit is better than his current suit. Grant still has better suits in my opinion and season 4's suit is the best.
I hope to _god_ that Gunn keeps Sasha Calle and gives her her own Supergirl movie. Because they finally _got_ the character, she's not a sweet and bubbly character, she's _angry._ Like, there's a reason she was a Red Lantern for a while. She lost her home, shes on a foreign world, her cousin she was supposed to raise is an adult that's fully acclimated to Earth life, and she handles it by isolating herself from humanity developing anger issues. Thats a great basis for a movie, and for an actual character with flaws she has to overcome

I love grant gustan and the whoe CW show. I also love the movie, the OG batman music and micheal keaton perfermance was amazing and gave me goosebumps. Regarding grant gustan as the new actor; although it would be amazing, he has been doing flash series for 10+ years. This all depends on gustans motivation to continue the character, even if he said he was open to any furthur flash roles, but perfermance from him could be entirely different from CW grant gustan due to motivation and effort and more. I feel they should take atleast a year to decide a new flash actor and I think there are plenty of new actors to choose from, but Grant i agree, is the best choice. Let's see his future opinions regarding the flash role. Great job on the video!
If actor (GRANT GUSTIN) does join the DC movies industry; I imagine the (DC U.) version of his Flash, exists either in the Earth-1 Realm, or in the Earth-16 Realm.
I personally think that the movie did the story of flashpoint better than season 3 of The Flash TV show, but Savitar in the show was definitely paced better as the villain. You know, with nine seasons of scenes to pull from, I'd love if someone did an edit of the DCEU to include Grant instead of Ezra. Similar to the edit you did at the end, but for every movie or show The Flash appears in in the DCEU
Personally the movie was kinda mid it was overhyped and at the end it shows Barry didn’t learn his lesson unlike the show where Barry finally realised that messing with time has very serious consequences
Let's face it. Grant Gustin is the best Flash actor of modern times. Heck, he even played Future Barry/Savitar in S3 and done a pretty good job playing a villain, unlike Ezra Miller who became a real life villain by breaking some laws and attack a poor woman.

Despite perhaps not looking exactly like comic Barry, Grant *IS* Barry Allen the same way Benedict Cumberbatch IS Doctor Strange. Could there be a better actor one day? Of course. Never put a cap on skill. But at the moment I think Matt Letscher or Grant Gustin need to be the Flash (Barry) in live action. Matt Letscher was so good as Eobard Thawne and iirc he actually auditioned for Barry first. He has the ability with a small amount of hair and makeup to make a *perfect* Comic-accurate Barry Allen, but Grant Gustin carries the demeanor of Barry so well. He does crack jokes, but he's a lot more serious and straight-faced than Wally is. I think if there was ever an actor that combined Letscher's physical traits with Gustin's tonality, that actor should be the Flash.
The best thing about this movie was the freaking suit the flash give that’s to grant Gustin, and we got another 10 years of the flash if not more --we need Grant/flash ! Hey, listen, you still got George Clooney and Pattinson’s Batman - you can say the flash just fell apart, and it started with his tooth - speed needs to choose a new avatar and goes back to the one that knows best Grant, a.k.a. Barry Allen Gustin ! I strongly disagree about the suit. All of Grant's suits were FAR better than The Flash suit in the Snyderverse. The Flash is supposed to be a hero based solely on speed and associated stats like agility and reflexes. Giving him armor would only slow him down and make him bulkier. Something skintight, insulated, breathable and aerodynamic is perfect for a Flash. Heck, the original creators of The Flash (I'm talking all the way back to Jay Garrick) specifically chose not to give him a cape because it would slow him down. Armor? No. Just No.
In all seriousness your fan trailer, I see a lot of potential with grant Gustin flash and it felt more like a DC trailer than the original trailer of the flash...Ezra was ok with the character but honestly it ñever felt like Barry on the big screen...Grant Gustin needs to save this character before it gets more shredded apart with poor management. Edit: also I really enjoyed watching the cw flash way better character than the one on the big screen

The cw began with awesome and hopeful expectations. Now I’m happy it’s over and grant should be retired from playing the flash and go with a different version of Flash with a new take.

To be honest I do think that Ezra millers acting in the flash movie was good, but grant Gustin fits the character so much better, I also do not like ezra millers version of the flash, he’s supposed to be quipy, a charismatic speedster
