During his crime spree in Hawaii, it was actually more statistically probable that you could end up getting attacked by Ezra Miller rather than being the victim of a shark attack (100% true- look it up)
People aren't good at numbers. Hawaii's got quite a problem with toxoplasmosis gondii, AKA crazy cat lady disease. It's been introduced by feral cats which are a real problem there. I suspect a friend, who keeps 4 (!) cats on the Big Island, is a 'crazy cat guy" and looked up some stats. Toxoplasmosis kills twice as many people in the US as salmonella.
I think psychopathy is something some people are just born with, but it would be interesting and probably horrifying to know what his childhood was like
@@SK-rs1hu I think people can be born with common genetic factors but to be born directly with psychopathy no, I would also be interested and probably point to his childhood rather then using genetic factors, they are not direct predictors of future behavior, while his childhood could be.
@@revan6059 There's plenty of cases of kids "born wrong". Psychologists refer to them as callous-unemotional children, since antisocial personality disorder can only be diagnosed in adults. With proper and extensive treatment some can be fully or partially rehabilitated into a normal life. Some are unrecoverarable and will go on to live the life you can typically expect of a low functioning sociopath. Whether there's a genetic hereditary factor or not is unclear but natural born psychopats absolutely exist. Anecdotically, one of my childhood's best friend displayed precocious and manipulative behaviour similar to Miller's, and his parents took him to psychotheraphy at an early age (not a common thing in the 90s!). Overall I think Miller's drug abuse and early fame and exposure are to blame for his eroding mental health and magnifying his negative traits. Without the ability to control our impulses and emotions we'd all look like Miller, or worse.

The fact that he has gotten out of so much trouble makes me think that whoever abused him in Hollywood when he was 14 has powerful connections and has pulled a lot of strings so that they don't get exposed.
Or fired like Depp.. Straight white male with a history of loving relationships and ex wife's backing him up and still gets fired without evidence. Non-binary they/them, grooms children with evidence and abuses woman physically and mentally, starts cult and the same company that fires Depp lets him keep his role🤔.. If that's not privilege due to gender status, I don't know what is
2:04 "I could tell he was special. He's smarter than other teen actors." "We bonded over our love of Clockwork Orange" "He isn't afraid to make a fool out of himself" "He isn't a virgin, and he was difficult to get to act awkwardly during sex scenes." "He's already smoked, too." This sounds like the way a delusional groomer would describe their under-aged victim. How did a grown adult say this and not see this as a major red flag to Ezra's mental instability? I'm not saying he can't recover, but his fate was sealed a long time ago if these statements are any indication.
a lot of teenagers have had sex, smoked weed, and are mature for their age, doesn't mean they go around doing crimes and grooming children, very narrow minded thinking here buddy
@@joelsirleaf2913dude, an adult talking this way about a kid is so weird because it’s usually how groomers justify having relationships with underage minors. they say they’re “mature” for their age, when in reality they’re still just kids who do things considered “grown up” because predators validate them for it
It baffles me that the dude was able to go into someone's house, creep on their 11 year old child, flash a gun, threaten the homeowner and still SOMEHOW not get in ANY sort of trouble.

@@KhyeTheWandereR Generally speaking, the people who are able to start cults are also able to get into relationships. Charlie Mansion was all of five foot three and had a build that was barely bigger than that of a ten year old boy. And it takes a lot less pushing of the right buttons than getting into a healthy relationship.
The fact Ezra isn't in prison really highlights how laws simply don't exist when you have money. Hes done enough to serve multiple prison sentences if he was a poor person.
They have done enough to get booted off of every movie set possible as well, I truly believe that they’re using the non-binary thing solely as a shield for shittiness

I’m always weary of “good guys” who can recite feminist theory off the top of their head and speak of gender dynamics as some kind of struggle instead of an actual issue of equality , no one needs to submit to anyone
The “fake feminist nice guy” act is always a red flag and an obvious front. These people ALWAYS turn out to be abusers, groomers, and pieces of shit that take advantage of women. Justin Roiland, Shaun King, Ezra Miller, every other white liberal man that preaches this shit, etc.
Im wary of any male feminist after knowing Hugo Schwyzer before he got exposed. Guy was always a hypocrite. He gave female classmates more time and better grades while putting down men in his class. Surprise surprise he later got in trouble for screwing his female classmates. Oh and the Phd admitted to wanting ti kill his ex wife and kids in a murder suicide. Real smart thing to do. I 100% blame Ezra. He is a HORRIBLE monster. Also, why did Tokata's parents allow a 23 year old man to spend time with their 13 year old daughter?!!! Why was he allowed to stay at their house while she was 14 & he was 23??? They didn't protect her enough :/
Uh yeah. I was expecting "chief big ass 🐻" or whatever his name is to just delete Ezra. Like wtf most tribal guys out west are much more bad ass than that.
He reminds me of me and my friends when we were young and took ketamine all the time. Life was a constant LARP. My friend went and did fire blowing over the windows of the cars as they drove to work in the street early in the morning. There was always a sense of ‘us’ and ‘the outside world’.
Do you think drug abuse makes domestic abuse, grooming, and assault acceptable? If so, then drugs have fried your brain. And what the eff is with almost setting cars on fire, you freak?
I can't say I'm surprised. After watching him in the movie, "We Need To Talk About Kevin"". He was quite convincing in his role as Kevin. It is a good movie, I would suggest watching it if you have the chance. He

This is that one kid who was told they were "gifted" or special their entire life, and then started doing more drugs than the human body can handle. I knew someone like this. They had done so much harm to their brain that if you didn't know otherwise, you'd think they were schizophrenic. They, too, spouted nonsense about their own spiritual prowess. I only knew a handful of Ezra's horrors before. Now I'm flabbergasted that WB has gone to such lengths to protect the Flash movie.
The smartest people I knew all did crazy things around the age 18. The world expects so much and has so much respect for them and then for the first time, they are given freedom. No more mom, dad, nanny, or high school teachers to watch over them.
“You'd think they were schizophrenic. They, too, spouted nonsense about their own spiritual prowess.” But to be honest, his symptoms ( 14:59 ) *do* fall in line with Schizophrenia, which develops in the early twenties. I can pull the _“I know someone like this”_ card just like you, with said person being my parent who was diagnosed with Schizophrenia early in life. Ezra’s case is what can happen when a Schizophrenic person treats their disease with ignorance and drugs, instead of awareness and proper medication. To be very clear, this does *not* imply any fault or intention. Schizophrenia is a disease that forces the host’s brain to perceive auditory/visual hallucinations as reality, and the brain then eliminates any differences that could signal to the host otherwise. It’s very easy for someone who isn’t aware of onset to continue with their current lifestyle (Ezra was already recreationally taking drugs) and worsen their symptoms to the point of no return. As for his eccentricity prior to these incidents, there is the lesser known fact that Schizophrenia lies on the Schizoid spectrum of mental illness. Those with Schizoid Personality Disorder (which I have) tend to give the same responses he did during his interviews ( 4:38 ), not because they are "bad/evil," but because they have a _detached sense of self._ Those without a clearly defined sense of self have difficulty empathizing with any particular group, and as a result, we can resonate with _everyone_ *including* criminals (this can also be manifested in other areas like gender neutrality). Those who are impaired empathetically tend to operate more on logic, and have abstract ideas of what they "should" think or values they "should" uphold. For those who are familiar with this spectrum of mental illness, you may notice that Ezra's early responses as a young teen (regarding the duality of man etc.) were very honest about how morally grey he was, which is in-line with the Schizoid personality (at our core, we strive to be *philosophically correct,* rather than *politically or socially* correct.) Then his popularity grew and he matured enough to choose his words more carefully and with intention, e.g. you could tell his later ideas about overthrowing the patriarchy focused a lot more on being politically correct. If his crimes are indicative of anything, we can pretty much agree this was a false persona, and he was never pro-women. But hey, *who knows really?* I think it is wrong for the creator of this video, Turkey Tom, to tie Ezra's early interviews and reputation (as adults, god knows how much we evolve over time), even the _type of roles_ that he’s played when he was younger, to his current condition. Similarly, Johnny Depp and Timothy Chalet are actors who favor morally complex roles to act in (like Kevin), yet I don’t see any bullshit claims they could be psychopaths. If anything, them performing well in these roles indicates nothing but their talent in film. Turkey Tom also narrated at 15:22 that Ezra's behavior was "no doubt enabled by his newfound wealth" with absolutely _zero_ basis, which quite frankly threw away any objective credibility this video had for me. RU-vid videos fall under the same entertainment industry everyone hypocritically points fingers at, and do benefit from having a polarizing narrative… but as a result, all the commenters in here screaming Ezra must have always been an inherently evil person are clearly biased by it, and blind to the possibility that Ezra may have once genuinely been just an intelligent young adult, whose character was simply later deformed by mental illness (could be Schizophrenia.) Case in point, *drugs and disease aren’t mutually exclusive,* and it’s quite concerning the latter was immediately disregarded for no reason other than disdain for this person. Although having a disorder doesn’t justify his actions, all the comments ignoring obvious symptoms staring them in the face because it doesn’t fall in line with Tom’s narrative of evil psychopath, are why our current mental healthcare system is a shit-show. "This is that one kid who was told they were "gifted" or special their entire life" I hope you understand your stereotyping was a long shot in the dark and very *unhelpful.* There is no such difference between a prominent figure committing a crime, vs. the average citizen committing that same crime. If acknowledging someone's skills had any effect on the way they turn out, then what about the number of fucked up orphans in jail who were oppositely told they'd never amount to anything _"special their entire life."_
"This is that one kid who was told they were "gifted" or special their entire life". Yep, that's how the majority of narcs are created. Combine that with being good looking, you got a pdfile going full sect guru.
@@criuneI agree. Drugs can bring on or even exacerbate symptoms. I take psychedelics but I don’t have any underlying mental illnesses so it doesn’t cause me any adverse symptoms. Campos's quote gave me the chills. Riddled with red flags, starting with "bonding over A Clockwork Orange," right to commenting on the sex life of a teenager. Ezra was surrounded by adults acting inappropriately, then in turn mirrored the behavior. Not justifiable by any means, but incredibly bleak and depressing. Hopefully their victims can heal.
leave it to the YT comments to take the time to debate pronouns when the subject at hand is sexual misconduct. just wanna point that out. What a fucking society we live in. my thoughts in case anyone needed to know: I normally respect people's pronouns to what I believe is a fair extent. "She/her" and "He/him" are respected always, and "they/them" (though I have some misgivings as an ex-NB myself and the whole can of worms being the NB vs binary trans perspectives and debates within the queer community) is respected to the best of my ability as well, as I see it as a common courtesy. I simply refuse to call anyone neo-pronouns, including "it", "[insert animal]-self", and whatever other nonsense. I feel like that line is valid. That being said, Ezra is one of those people (and there have been quite a few examples in recent years) where there's enough to public knowledge about them to see how they are just outrageous and manipulative enough to quite possibly either: a) be lying about their gender identity to ease down walls between them and their victims while simultaneously securing a shield to hide behind when it comes time to criticize them or b) fully believe in the gender spectrum but are so far gone with a combination of illicit substances, eccentric spiritualism, trauma, and just about every indicator of very on-the-nose derangement that you can think of that it wouldn't be a stretch to say that their perception of gender was probably impacted by any/all of the above, and could be argued to not be their "true" gender if they were in a sober, healthy state of mind. Frankly, I believe either to be fully possible, or maybe a combination of both when you get down to it. And whether a commenter addresses them as they/them or he/him, it's stupid to correct them because both opinions have grounds to stand on. Or one commenter just doesn't believe in using "they/them" at all, in which case it's still wasting your time trying to make a statement on both sides because at that point you're just on differing ends of the aisle when it comes to gender politics and let's be honest no one is budging from their opinion on that down here in the rando comments. Thanks for coming to my TED talk.

Any time an adult goes on about the child being more mature/older than his years/etc., my hackles go up: either there is something wrong with the adult and they are projecting adulthood on the child to excuse their own feelings towards them, or there is something wrong with the child - it has most likely gone through some trauma that taught it to behave that way. There's just something off about it.
Something i think is wild about American culture / system is that a 17 year old is legally considered adult enough to drive a car, considered a child in matters concerning sexual development and only at the age of 21 is considered mature enough to consume alcohol. As a European i find it incredibly disturbing in ways i can't describe to consider a 17 year old as a ''child'' Over here a 17 year old is considered a ''young adult'' or ''teenager'', not ''child''... Also over here you can drink at the age of 16. I feel like Americans tend to project infancy on otherwise mature (or maturing) individuals. I find this disturbing for reasons i can't really explain. I get similar vibes from this to adults who wear diapers as part of an ''age play'' fetish. :S Anyway, i mostly agree with what you're saying but in the case of young adults i'm rather impartial to claims of ''they are more mature than their age'' because at the age of 17 some people mature (emotionally, mentally, physically, etc) faster than others, etc. In Europe it's actually quite common for people of such ages to be considered practically adult (or otherwise close to adulthood) already. Honestly, my opinion is that the laws regarding this are insane. I don't think 16 18 and 21 are somehow ''magic numbers'' of maturity in any case and 9 years ago the law used to be completely different in this country regarding age of maturity. They raised the legal drinking (and smoking) age from 16 to 18 in 2014. I wasn't even aware of this and thought it was still legal for a 16 year old to order drinks in a bar. Go figure.
@@RobotronSage I'm not 100% sure, but think that in many other cultures, people are "mature" at a younger age than the majority in the US. We have failed our children, infantilizing them, treating childhood as some sort of magical kingdom to be protected instead of the training ground for life. Frequently, they are given little responsibility, praised for doing the bare minimum, not encouraged to be independent, and basically crippled emotionally by parents who are ill equipped to guide them through their feelings and help them to manage them. I totally get your POV, and imagine for your region, you are right.
@@epowell4211 infantilising means "to treat someone as a child." I don't understand how someone can be complaining about treating children like children, seems to contradict your initial point.
...I was considered older than my years. Its a cultural thing tbh I'm British Asian (not East Asian ) and tbh most people I know we all matre fast we are treated like adults but still with the tenderness required with a child.
I think a lot of people are kind of glossing over the fact that Ezra was groomed and raped as a kid himself, and while I am by _NO means_ saying that excuses his behavior, it could explain it to some degree, as often times, people like him don't come from nowhere, often, they were victims of abuse themselves and something in them became so broken that they then chose to enact that same abuse onto others, perhaps in a vain attempt to regain a lost piece of themselves, or to enact revenge on people who don't deserve it for that catharsis, because they can't get revenge on the person or people who'd done that to them. Ezra was raped and exposed to drugs at a young age, and that kind of upbringing is bound to mess up a person's mind. So I think the people saying, "he's the type of guy who's never been told 'no'", are kind of missing the plot, slightly. I think it's more that his boundaries were never respected, so he disrespects the boundaries of others, because he has absolutely no idea what boundaries even are, possibly explaining his erratic behavior. Well, that, and the drugs, obviously. But overall, Erza is just another tragic case in a _long_ line of cases where evil begets evil, and Hollywood is either incredibly good at attracting evil people, creating them, or both. It is a den of snakes, and I'd advise all parents to keep their children _far_ away from that place.
You don't know that though. A lot of abusers play that card as an excuse. If abuse was going to lead abuse, women would be 99% of the abusers. They are not.
@RR-on4sk I will admit, I don't know that for certain, but I think it could be considered a pretty good guess to be true, and the reason why, is because think about it, this type of thing has been going on for decades in Hollywood, and he was already described doing far too adult things as a teenager, which suggests things that happened to him earlier in life before that point. Not to mention, it is a common story, not just one that's said by the abusers, but can often be confirmed by others around them, and this is a story I've heard, again and again. And I'm not saying that this has happened to all abusers, or that all people who're abused in this way end up perpetuating the abuse, but a portion of people who have been abused in childhood later go on to become abusers, this is a pattern that can be seen again and again in many people. However, luckily, many more people _don't_ perpetuate the abuse and seek to protect others from becoming abused like they were, both men and women, and that's very noble of them to come forward with their stories, and do their best to help those who are in situations they themselves were once in. Many can become parents, and do their best to protect their children from the kinds of people who hurt them when they were young. Again, as I've said already, this doesn't mean that facing abuse as a child will _automatically_ turn that child into an abuser as an adult, but it is a possibility that could happen. Just like not every traumatic childhood incident could lead to DID (disassociative identity disorder or multiple personality disorder), but some do. The mind is deeply complex, yet also so fragile, especially at such a young age. There are many directions for it to go, and often, what abuse growing up does, is it messes with your perceptions of what you think is normal, and for many, that can be mostly solved with therapy and time (and God, but that's another deep subject), and while they could never forget what happened to them, they can start to get a sense of what is normal, however, for some, they just never get out of that mindset and continue to perpetuate the same evil done to them. Like how some people who were raped can develop rape fantasies. I know, because I've known someone like that. These aren't things that happened to everyone who gets abused a child, but the mind can go in many wild directions when under extreme abuse, and I'm sure the drugs he takes don't help with his mental state at all. Each day, he finds himself farther and farther from reality, and he's doing everything possible to ruin himself further. And of course, as I've said before, what has happened to him or others, is of course _NOT_ an excuse, but simply a possible explanation, as I believe this _can_ happen to people. He still chooses to do evil, and he still chooses to drift farther from reality.

This is EXACTLY why I live by the phrase "anyone can be evil, and anyone can be good". I personally accept people of all different identities. But that said, I also strongly believe that gender, sexuality, and other elements of identity don't mean shit when it comes to morality. Having a certain identity is not a justification for poor behavior. If you choose to be evil, that becomes your identity. It cancels out anything else. If you are evil it doesn't matter what else you are. It becomes all you are. And the same goes for being good. If you're a kindhearted person who does good things, then the rest of your identity is less important and you don't deserve to be treated poorly for it. Nobody deserves discrimination. But everyone should be held to being a good person.
watching him spew random words at a camera and hitting low-hung fruit narratives, im almost certain he is an undiagnosed psychopathic with a malfunctioning amygdala. there is no organic, authentic person in there... just a character for the media.
What concerns me about people like Ezra is that they make a lot of money when they are very young, move out of home before they are really ready to, and then have no one to oversee their moral compass. When there should be someone saying, “No, Ezra, you are not jesus. It’s time for bed,” instead they are staying up until all hours, taking drugs, and buying guns. Then, when a more vulnerable person enters their orbit, they see nothing at all wrong with acting inappropriately.
ezra miller is a walking breathing example of people whos mentally unstable views and health, gets seen as "edgy" instead of needing the support, because it all turns into this big mush of insanity and abuse
“We’re always brought back to the true magic that we all partake of, reminded again and again that the strongest magic, the highest magic, is Love. I think that is a truth that can be found through a lot of the wisdom traditions of the world. Those people who do practice magic, I think, would agree with JKR.” “So if you had the chance, with a wand, to change something in this world-” “Age of consent.” “... Oh.”
@@xensonar9652since when? I had to learn english as my third language. They/them was always used for groups, never for one single person. When was it normal? Was it standard? And please don't say in medival times.
@@xensonar9652 then why isn't it teached? Do you have any idea how hard it is for non native speakers? I had english teachers from Mexiko, New York, and other places. My best friend studied english in the US to teach english. One of my childhood friends learned english in England to become an english teacher. Not one of them learned this. If it so normal, why isn't it teached?
@@junihase1496 It is taught. We learn this in school in England. If you are learning English as a non-native speaker, get used to the idea that it is a strange language - one of the most difficult to learn. It is built from multiple linguistic sources and influences, with all kinds of confusing and seemingly contradictory components, silent letters, emergent pronunciations, and words with multiple wildly different meanings. That's just how it is.
i remember interacting with Ezra Miller at standing rock and I was young so obviously starstruck after seeing the perks of being a wallflower...after an hour of conversation I was so uncomfortable. He gave very creepy vibes. feel so sad for the people he's hurt and angry nothing has been truly done about him.
@@Codduct i thankfully only experienced very little of him compared to others, but you could tell he was an off guy. just hope for justice for the people who he affected so deeply.
He’s proof that pretty privilege is the only privilege that can’t be denied. If anybody else did this they’d be hard banned from everything. He walks around with a huge main character syndrome and “not like the other boys “ attitude and for some reason people love that kind of arrogance. He was hired because he had a dark look and nature and people were surprised when he turned out to be dark in nature. He needs to go to jail I can’t believe WB is protecting him this way.
wow the internet sure has changed over the course of only the past 10 years. ''banned from everything'' lmfao wow. Yeah in case ur wondering this whole ''cancel culture'' stuff is a new thing of recent times. What a world we live in. Grow up.
Ezra's theoretizing that "everything can be forgiven" is me in my edgelord 12 y.o. teenage phase, but he seems to never have grown out of it and seen real life lol
Okay so, was that phrase a foreshadowing of all the rancid shits Erza did after that statement That'd be the ""funniest"" coincidence In reality not funny because he did loathsome shit but anyway
As someone who was MADLY crushing on him in his Kevin and Wallflower era it is still absolutely shocking to me what he has become. Tragic and enraging. People like him are exactly why the progressive left is still portrayed as dangerous and degenerate. I feel so sorry for girls who had to go through this shit. The worst part is that Ezra is not the only person who keeps getting away with stuff like this. Jared Leto gives off very similar vibe.
Jared Leto is nothing like Ezra!!! He dresses in an eccentric way most of the time but he doesn't "date" children and he is not insane nor out acting like a total freak. You are WAY off if you think they are similar. Leto is eccentric at most, Ezra is bat shit crazy! Not to mention Leto has had two very successful careers and has accomplished way more than this little freak has. He also sees himself as a he and he just dresses how he wants. I don't love most of his outfit choices but I don't see any other issues.
@@marniekilbourne608 if someone acts like a monster, do they really deserve being respectfully referred to by their gender? Misgendering them is hardly the least they deserve.
Jared Lehto for real! What chick who grew up in the 90s was not in love with Jordan! He’s creepy, everything I see of him gives me a icky vibe. He is still absolutely beautiful man. He knows it is uses to his advantage to pull off creepy things.
