This guy is dead on. I used to simp but got sick of playing the fool. I focused on myself and my dog. My business grew and now im doing pretty good, i went to the gym and put in serious work, i also ignore 99% of girls and only ask out the ones i really want. I can remember stories that my granny and gramps and good ole Aunt Beckylou used to tell me when I was small child about how back in the good old days of yesteryear a handsome sailor or soldier boy coming back from the war could see a pretty young girl working behind the counter of the five and dime or working behind the soda and ice cream fountain at the local drugstore , walk up to her and hand her a box of chocolates and a bouquet of flowers and they would fall in love and live happily ever after. Switch gears to modern day, and if you do something like that to a girl in this day and age and she will call the cops and have you arrested for sexual harassment or video record the whole thing and then video roast you on social media websites like Facebook or Twitter just so she can play the victim card and get some validation and attention. dating is difficult cause of hook up culture but yea not all want to join in that nonsense and may have other struggles that make communicating difficult. Most of the time trauma triggers give me strong fear when being close with other person and sink in the thought " it happens again I have to get out " and leaving when cant control the panic.. but dont want it to ruin the chance to have good relationship so trying my best to overcome it. Therapy and friend`s support helps and must keep going.. but its frustfrating and feeling sad when do want genuine relationship but keep hitting the walls what trauma caused and it gets better of me time to time... 😔
