When a big industry like “Bollywood” does not want to represent pride in our people and culture, why would we bother watching? Honestly this has been going on for so long. I am not asking them to be jingoistic but most movies do not represent reality. Also I have had enough of seeing my religion and culture being treated like a 3rd class citizen in the so called industry that represents our country.

One more reason - During COVID people have binged on quality western documentaries and movies on Netflix /OTT. They now understand what is worth their time and what is absolute waste. No one wants to waste 3 hours and money on so called dumb stars. This is new India, old things will not work now. COVID is the greatest disruption in humankind after world war.
Very intelligently pointed out. Also, if you observe a huge section of Indian movie goers was audience who were habitual of watching movies. They used to watch movie out of habit (on weekends, on holidays, on weekday nights). They were used to 'movie viewing experience' instead of just the 'movie content'. They had a certain continuity in watching movie. This continuity is now broken by lockdowns, fear of contracting diseases and inconvenience etc. This is disrupted an ongoing phenomenon and therefore conventional filmmakers are now confused. What used to just work because of the viewers habits is not working because that habit is broken.
Biggest learning is from pop-Gurus.. Now youtube videos are easily accessible and we are able to encourage original Sanatan mindset..even the chelas of Gurus are posting their testimonials and real life turning points which magnifies the feedback.
Sir, I am an avid watcher of your content. I am from S. India. My takeaways from this are - 1. People see through hypocrisy at one time or the other. And when that happens, it spreads like a wildfire and the curtains will be drawn forever on that person/organization. 2. One cannot rule/live on forever. They must build the others down the line, encourage new talent/youngsters and take them along. By doing this, they will grow together. Goodwill is very important. 3. Don't take consumers/customers for granted. For them, the content maker is just one among so many they can choose. They can entertain/learn from so many. But if the content creator becomes fossilized, he can't spring back, especially if he hasn't built goodwill, humility and has no gratitude in his heart. Ppl have access to information on personal lives as well nowadays. When they see the glaring gap, they will be dropped as hot potatoes. Intention is extremely important.

I do usually watch hollywood movies as they have better stories. Above all the most i hate the bollywood songs, extremely vulgar and ear hurting music. But the movies closer to indian heartland are doing well.
Either attain sukh or learn something to earn.. basically we should spend our time on learning doable skills to inhance our earning capabilities or can spend time where we get parmanand..🙏
For me the big takeaway is stay relevant to changing times, stay open to change and be a constant learner. Nostalgia of bygone times can't be the yard stick for future use.

South movie ne Hollywood se apni movies k VFX level improvise karna seekha par content original rakha...na k Bollywood ki tarah bina kuch improvement k seedha cut copy paste.. isliye Superhit se Superflop. Any movies has four strength Music : Bollywood started copying music from around the globe eventually copying own copy . Plot : this is most challenging things. There is no one who can write complex plot . Technical : you can't beat Hollywood Actor or actress : promoted by Dubai or Pakistan Watching Bollywood movies is totally waste of time and money . Watching RU-vid video gives better satisfaction than Bollywood movies .
In earlier films, story was the real hero and heroes were simply roles. No stardom, no hidden attitudes and agendas. They were beyond religions. No religion was criticised in the name of films. Now the star actors have forgotten that real hero is the story and buildup doesnot make you a hero. Once people accepted them as heroes, stars thought that they are the reasons for success. Hence the downfall. Stars are not all bothered about, why people should see their films spending their hard earned money. If a film does not endorse the natural feelings of the society why should one go their films?
Finally someone is saying the truth. Also South Indian movies have been copied for long time it's just that now people are seeing original rather than copy.
The image these Bollywood stars showcase on screen and off screen shows they are totally inauthentic. Their lifestyles exhibit a complete lack of pride in one's culture, they are ashamed of this country and it is shown blatantly in their movies. Minority appeasement is another mindset that they showcase proudly, afterall their financiers maybe from underworld and they are obliged to keep them happy. Every single one of them has taken a foreign nationality/ PR status. They don't do anything for their own country, thank God the veil has been lifted from our eyes. Their drug, women, porn and other rackets stand exposed completely. Not that South industry is free from all these evils, we should teach these guys a lesson that it is the audience who make you or break you. We will not finance your grand lifestyles anymore
Intelligent evolved minds due to internet won't accept just anything anymore. Otherwise also movies will disappear In sometime. South or north or worldwide.....movie makers need to get used to not making the kind of profits they used to make earlier. Now just make a movie for online platforms with those kind of profits in mind.
