Of course the frustration people have with this game is warranted, but I'd wish more people would self reflect and distance themselves from something that angers them so much. I really hope this game can be amazing, and as long as my frustrations with its mistakes don't outweigh that hope, I'll stick around
Tbf there arent really any other decent options for players to actually distance themselves with Like if you wanna distance from like Overwatch, you olay like TF2 or Valorant or sumn But if you wanna distance yourself from TI you either have PoT or BoB, BoB being cocaine in a game and PoT being hit or miss for a mass amoint of people. None of those are even remotely similar to what TI is
Also is definitely one of the top three dinosaurs I’m hoping to see/exited for the others being austro and either Maia or iguanadon (more so iguanadon since it’s my favourite dinosaur)
To be hosnest, its great that they are fixing the game,implementigng ai, new engine,etc. But they forgot that game is based around playable... look at path of titans... its better then the isle only becouse of dino roster
in this recent patch cera can actualy eat whatever he wants and it will get nutrients, i discovered it randomly when i missclicked and ate the intestines while having full belly, and guess what, my // went up! so nice change ig
Average human life span is like 80 years, I'm turning 23 this year, honestly having at least something to look forward to at all times for like 8 years doesn't sound that bad when you think about it that way, it sounds really bad when you think about it in any other way but not when you think about it in that very specific that way.
I got The Isle like 6-7 years late, and really enjoyed Evrima when I started. I learned the map and got a sense for the game and all the dinos, then the new map came out paired with some new playables. Had a lot of fun for a few months and now i just feel like the game is super empty/restrictive. I tend to play meat eaters a lot and find myself stuck in certain parts of the map, or unable to find anyone to eat and have to rely on the sparse AI around. My overall biggest complaint for this past half year is how useless the map is for specific dinosaurs. Deino specifically is stuck in the major water ways, and to traverse to the south plains or the western river (where all dinos are for the most part) you need to get SUPER lucky and not die 10 feet from the life saving water after covering the entire map. You essentially will NEVER catch a land dino as a deino and will be forced to eat fish and others of your own kind. Really ruins the mental game knowing you're going to be swimming up and down broken and inaccessible rivers looking for the next elite fish or deino whos going to eat you.
i do hear this tbh,right now things arent the best. but i do trust the devs. they have said there are some map changes coming so hopefully that'll help
@pain002 i mean, i can't speak for orni, but personally, i have hope simply out of passion for this game. I know the devs have done a bit of unfavorable things and stuff that especially annoyed me, but out of all other dino survival games out there, the isle is BY FAR the best in my opinion. I love how real the dinosaurs and their enviroments feel and look, and how much more realistic it is when compared to PoT or BoB or any of the other dino survival games out there. I hold my hopes of this game becoming the perfect dino survival game of my dreams (or at least being the closest to it, as the devs want humans and blah blah blah else that im not the biggest fan of) All in all, i really hope for the best with this game even if i dont agree with all the executive decisions.
@@ChrimiKat I agree, I really hope for the best since I love this game, and I love the feeling of being in a true survival world. Just wish they had more to hunt or more to do than eat and afk, eat and afk, drink and afk.

it's funny when people say "pot has so much more people than the isle so it's better!" of course it'll have more players it's cross platform and the only dinosaur survival game on mobile/console.
God that first image of camara makes me want to cry. I never experienced 2016/17 isle but idk why but I love watching old videos on the isle. It still makes me weirdly nostalgic despite the fact I never played back then
To answer the last question I'd survive. Not even a certain time limit, I'd be able to live my whole life on evrima fr fr. The dinosaurus feared the asteroid when they should have feared me 😈

If I went hardcore Alpha Male Grindset, I'd give myself 2 months before a Hererra breaks my back, a Deino wants a Cracker, a Pachy wants my bones, Troodon call dibs on my splean, stego says 'yup yer banned' , Teno gives me a happy high five, a Omni goes Jp3 mode, Cera confuses me for a steak, a Ptero pecks out my eyes, Beipi claims my pond, a Dryo kicks my Balls, Hipsy spits in my face, Galli becomes the average Australian Cassowary, Dilo goes Novel Nedry gameplay 10 000 IQ move....or a Carno participates in the Olympic Sprints for my Organs. Other than those I'd survive the Dinos on Gateway. 1 boar and it's OVER. I WILL FIGHT A STEGOSAURUS BEFORE I FIGHT A WILD BOAR XD

12:21 If I have everything I need regardless of where I am and if every animal behaves like players do right now I can just go somewhere I know nothing else is and stay there forever. If I can build with the materials I find on the island like sticks and rocks and a cave to build in I can make myself a shelter, without tools I can only fight things smaller than me, so like less than 81kg, but if I have a big stick I can at least survive an encounter with a beipi because it's not that much bigger than I am, unless they are in a group troodons and pteras should be more scared of me then I am of them.
@@Orni-Mega-Lonyx See you'd think that but if you go slightly towards north west from the north east plains until you get to the shore you'll probably be the safest you can ever be, because literally nothing has any reason to be there. Or maybe the tiny islands around the main one if those count, there is a tiny pile of sand at the very south east of the island, it's literally the furthest you can be from any other living thing.
I do think it’s that hope that’s keeping us all here. The isles potential is truly huge. But admittedly it can be hard to keep that hope when the game can be hindered by its performance and consistently bad decisions on the devs part, whether it’s fixing non issues (stam, camera, etc.), or over fixing actual issues (ceratos nv for example, made from awful to too good now imo). But that’s why we’re here, we need to take part in sharing our opinions and helping the game grow.

By the way love the positivity from this video. I've seen A LOT of negativity from this community since joining and it's nice to not see someone just doom and gloom non stop, it's so refreshing. To me it seems like a lot of things have been added since the last roadmap released under a year ago, and I saw on steam monthly detailed write ups about the development... seems like a good amount of communication honestly. But of course there's always a lot to hate now adays so people will find a way.

To answer the question: I die within three days at most assuming I can just find some isolated spot and stay hidden the entire time. Otherwise I die probably within a day or two lol.
In current EVRIMA, I wager I'd be able to survive a pretty long time by just going to the NW part of the map wuere nobody ever goes and living off berries and shit.

Did somebody already thought about rex getting pined by multiple allosaurus? I mean they showed the raptor pounce to pin mechanic and they said that allo will get some kind of grap just like the raptors pounce.
I think I could survive for a while if I stick to the jungle, maybe climb the trees and craft some throwable weapons to hunt and defend myself. I just have to watch for things like herrerasaurus or omniraptors
I had about a year break from the isle, just playing as a cera feels better. Everything feels more crisp. Im running a 6700xt paired to a 6770-k at max settings. I get a solid 90 fps, drops maybe down to 60-80 fps
It all sounds great, but i want it to actually happen, at the end of the day there have been 0 playables this year, both dilo and herra came out in December, and I don’t know why its taken almost 6 months for dibble, which isn’t even out yet so it will be more, but i try to stay optimistic because what else can you do
Ay the shadow could be an allo or could be anything else, personally I don't mind it being an allo, since my boy bary is coming and that's what I was so excitedly waiting for all these years, and as long as ik bary is coming, I don't really mind them working of whatever else Also for the everything potentially coming, I think at this point they could do something similar to what they did last year, which essentially in the span of few month they could drop everything just all of a sudden Which is pretty much the same as they did last year But that's just my guess ofc
I love this game I'm play it nearly everyday and I will definitely play the isle for the rest of my life and if I have any kids I will share the game with them
I'm a new player so forgive me if I'm missing something. But Cera's would want to overeat corpses w/o nutrient gain for 2 reasons I can think of right away. 1. They eat the flesh to expose the bone, which they can also eat and DOES give nutrients. 2. They can consume all corpses / bones to erase the scent of the body from other interested carnivores.
i'd say i could survive as long as humanly possible... as long as no deino gets me that is... or carno.... preferably just not getting spotted would be ideal
Weird looking dinotubers tier list. I agree however. I am excited for what is to come, especially as a server owner perspective there's a lot of new shiny toys I can play around with now. I started my server project more than 3 years ago now and always wanted to play the long run which is starting to payoff
For me the isle hasn't been fun at all for about two years now. I would love to see The Isle become fun again. It's just been 4 years since the "Hope." trailer, and the game still hasn't remotely lived up to the hype of that video. After four whole years. I would love to see the game living up to that trailer.

Bro I left the Isle around February because it wasn’t as fun anymore and I said to my friends “I won’t be rejoining the game until Allo, Baryonix, or Rugops is added and now that Allo is basically confirmed I’ll be joining the game again once it’s released
Biggest issue i have with the isle rn is how insanely slow they are with adding new dinos i heard the rex get announced a few months ago an saw it on a stream an the fact that it's stoll not out yet is kinda worrying to me i love the isle but for now im just waiting till there's more dinos

I cant wait to play Allo ....but that likely means everyone else can't wait either. I never realized just how big it was compared to our current roster.
