If you haven't told me i wouldn't even realize it was posted on april fool's day as every video he uploads feels like sarcasm to a point that the day doesn't matter anymore. lol!
The real joke here is that he has a "mom" who called him "Joshua", when we all know he was deposited from aliens and couldn't possibly have less than a dozen names for each of the languages he speaks.
Watch out for the South Korea's National Security Law which makes it illegal to even think well about North Korea. It even supercedes the Constitution.
Cool! I am inside of a North Korean prison camp, and I enjoy this way more then my past vacations, Paris; Rome; Prague; and Jupiter, Ohio. Be sure to visit me, maybe we can get some traditional North Korean food like Burger King or some "الطعام الكوري" .
The fact that you posted this right in the middle of my obsessive deep dive into North Korea is astounding. I honestly would love to see it one day, but I’m afraid I’ll end up somehow getting arrested for a crime I didn’t even commit while I’m there and never see the light of day again
Isn't Yeonmi Park a far-right propagandist? She keeps ranting about how "leftists are indoctrinating our children in public schools, just like in North Korea!!" on Fox News. I definitely wouldn't trust her.
@@doudou4657 it’s the best country because there’s no cars, so you don’t have to worry about being hit by a car, especially if you are an American because America is really car-centric
I don't know about American citizens but for other nationals it's actually possible to get a work in North Korea and live there with all luxuries like an access to World Wide Web, western exotic drinks like Coca-Cola, 24 hour wiretapping of your hotel room and even a right to leave the country.
This almost made me laugh to death...😂 As a South Korean, I must say, the last phrase is wrong. But not grammatically. In general, North Korean People never officially refer to their own language as ' 한국어'. They use ' 조선어' instead. The former is used by us.
Here from North Korea! It's amazing in there. The leader's just so kind to this population and the education is great! Teaches you about executions just so you don't end up in that position! The military also loves the population by protecting the border so well! North Korea Korean is also a great language. 100% recommend, happy faces here.
I'd love to see your impressions of chatgpt as a language learning tool. i've been testing it to see how good it is and as long as you can ask it good questions it's very good at giving concise info on the language, grammar etc and gives really good examples and explanations of the grammar. it can also teach slang and more. it does have its flaws but i've been loving it more that luoringo ;)
As a North Korean, so glad to hear of your choice! Come here and visit first to see where you'll live, and I'll come back with you to America. Like an exchange student program please please 🤗
I really want to go to North Korea!!) We have one guy in Russia (actually there are a lot of them, but he's the only one who showed up in the interview) who did a report on North Korea at the university and decided to find out for himself if that's really the case. He's been working with North Korea for years and they had a project where they wanted to do some girl and guy bloggers, but the "democratic" youtube itself banned them from doing it. If I myself had not observed how and why RU-vid has been blocking Russian bloggers for the past year, I might not even believe it) but we are witnessing it ourselves) they block people who do not agree with the American agenda🤡
It pains me so much that I will never be able to pay my respect to Juche Korea because I happen to be born in the Ukraine which has chosen the American side in this world war... Juche Korea is like heaven on Earth (yes, I'm weird, and I'm not a communist even). - Adûnâi
As a North Korean, I would like to say that having visited us at least once, you will never want to return to America, there are so many достопримечательность, and you will idinahuy it very much
i know there's probably a lot of Joshuas there in the US but figuring out that's your name is really really cool to me cuz in my country it's a very rare name that has caused me so many annoying situations and it still does.
1:59 he says 한국어 할 수 있어요. It translates to " I can speak Korean." However, Noth Korea calls itself 조선 (Chosun) and its language 조선말. I believe they also favor the -니다 form over the -요 form. "Joshua" could sound more authentic by saying "조선말 할 수 있습니다." Edit: A person more knowledgeable than me knows better below. Now that I think about it, making the obvious error of speaking the South Korean dialect is probably part of the joke.
they don't favour the 니다 form (하십시오체) over the 요 form (해요체), they use 하십시오체 in the same contexts south koreans do. North Korean men just don't use the 해요체 very often, and usually use the uncommon-in-the-south 하오체 instead, but women speak with mostly the same levels as south koreans.
Here’s a life lesson from my professor of International Politics that I’ll never forget: “Any country that has ‘democratic republic of’ as part of its name is first and foremost NOT a democratic country” lol
Congratulations from upgrading from hellhole that is America to one of the best places to live in the world! I wish I could do same, but I'm poor at learning. You will surely love everything there. As there is no worse place to live in world than America. And no worse people.
Didn't know North Korea had a RU-vid channel again, they used to have several channels before with similar style, basically North Korean women doing North Korean things, most were in English but I've also seen one who speaks Russian, but they were deleted by RU-vid years ago.
