That's what I've heard from a lot of people. "Don't buy a home in Japan if you plan on making money off of it. Only buy one if you actually want to live there." That's what I plan on doing. I just want to live in the Japan countryside.
I'd like to get a home in japan and possibly move thefe someday, get a home and land. Perhaps use it as a vacation home and then have a home in the us and japan, that way i can bounce back and forth and pick where i wish to live.
I don’t care about the value of the house I don’t plan to make money off of it I want to use the property as a vacation home. People need to start taking breaks more it’s amazing for the mind.
but hotel prices in many Japanese cities are negligible. So might as well use favorite hotels as your vacation home, instead of going through a hassle of acquiring a property and paying taxes on it
Bad advise. If you were talking about Detroit or Baltimore, i’d agree but the Japanese are a highly desirable people to live amongst. At some point they will have to open up the borders and it’ll be a land rush. In the meantime you get to live there cheap!
Japan isn't that cheap and the borders are open, also he's talking about real estate and the population is in steep decline, what are you waffling about?
In general, he is correct but Tokyo and some areas have steady increase of population and more importantly number of households are increasing. More and more Japanese people move to Tokyo and more and more people live alone for rest of life so number of households increase in Tokyo
Good for you telling the truth! There’s so many sleazy foreign RU-vidrs who entice foreigners without telling the real truth what will be the future of their “investments”. Like the channel Shu Matsuo Post guy. Boasting about owning multiple family houses in America, you know the ones causing high rent and house prices because America doesn’t have the same philosophy like Japan when building houses. He’s trying to convince foreigners to buy property in Japan. Charging probably $3000 for the opportunity to “help” foreigners buying houses.
Lol, if Japan doesn’t solve the population crisis you’ll be like the seller who’s selling the house because it became a burden or the municipality will be trying hard to find you because you abandoned it.
Best house to buy japan is for retirement or u own a big business and its a vacation nothing more its not even good for family since the school culture and career culture is awful in the WORD ITSELF
