Thanks for making this video! I have met many Indians in my life; they are hard-working, kind, and clever. I love Indian people, and India will undoubtedly grow soaring high in the future.
have been to India for 3 months. It is all about networking in India. we always met some cool people on the way. Love this country and the way they approach their goal
im in Sri for a week,I wanna go to india but havent visa recent ,chineses passport how can i do 。support Twiione and India democracy ,the next 10 years will be india growth。
Brother is in top 1% and doesn't even realize that. That's about how much an average indian knows about his countries and unintentionally ends up spreading wrong information to foreigners.
Have a package of about 25 lakhs for IT people after 7 -10 years of experience and more than 25 for MBA is common. What’s so shocking about the statement? Is it after taxes pay?
I am still mad about the thoughts of tiwan people on indian labour forces that were expected to go to taiwan on Taiwanese government request but later a Lady tiwan minister said that they will only bring labour from north east india cause they looks like them. ( Are you kidding me how racist can a country be to even their minister can say such things)
Thank god jimmy there somebody at least show's india good face i appreciated bro hope your upcoming video's will same as well like it use to come before
theres nothing to be proud until you have at least one indian company become tech giant. most indian companies are just service providers. what india is doing good but still long way to go.
@@AsitdyaDsr we need judiciaryt and police reforms. when system is good nobody can do major corruptioons. police is slave of politcians. we need independent police like usa and fast judiciary results. theres massive corruptions happening in every municple of every cities. no particular party is bad or good. all are chor chor mausere bhai. if we replace american politicians with indian ones still there will be no major corruption happening in usa because system is secure.
why many saas product companies are created in India. eg: zoho, freshworks, ola, oyo, olx, zomato, byjus, zeta, paytm, inmobi, flipkart, healthifyme, practo etc. Do you know japanese companies like paypay uses the products owned by Paytm?
Although I am india when I read this comment, memories of watching a speech by PM Modi during this festival flood back. I'm curious about the best location in Nagaland to celebrate the Hornbill Festival. I might plan a visit there in a couple of months.
@@swagatrout3075 hornbill festival take place in kisama heritage village from december 1-10. If you are planning to witness hornbill festival, dont miss out the opening day i.e December 1😝
As an Indian, let me just tell you this... This isn't how entire India looks like , tier 1 cities are super great to live in but tier 2 is little bad and tier 3 cities look Superbad... Most tech / skilled people end up in tier 1 so it's a great comfort to live there. Have a nice day 😊

As an Indian, I'd say the quality of Indian engineers is really, really good. Especially at product based companies. I'd say we have a long way to go in terms of people skills and management though.... It's 2024, and I'm not sure most Indian managers are able to deal with people from different backgrounds properly and are a bit too confrontational. Definitely way too judgmental, which is a reflection of society to be honest. Your marital status shouldn't play a role at the work place, but In India, It definitely does. Soft skills are still lacking amongst Indians as a whole.... But we are improving day by day....But if you are a people person as an Indian, you can kill it. Irrespective of education.
That's a cap most of my friends working in the IT sectors keep on complaining that they are made to work in a toxic environment they go to their office at 8 AM in the morning and sometimes they return to their home at 2 AM with just a 30 min lunch break in the middle and a 15 min break at the evening. In India, nobody respects the labour laws that's why many IT sector peeps are leaving that field and prepping for UPSC, SSC, GATE
Hi. I liked your comment. May you please explain how you found out that the quality of Indian engineers is really, really good ? Any anecdote ? Any incident ? (Refrain from saying that India has Google office etc) I shall be happy to know.
hello Jimmy ,Thanks for coming to India and visiting Bangalore. But the high earners are the cream of the crop that earn such high amounts ,rest of the engineers earn modest salaries with high taxes .The lingo used by people you interviewed sell some sort of superpower vibes but rest are very much rooted in ground.India has a lot of unharvested and untrained talent yet to be explored by domestic and international companies .Many just join IT companies to get out of powerty /lower middle class not mainly out of intense passion for coding or something else.
@@shadow69221 Dude it's true... No one wants to be in Core. Just see the cutoff of Jee for core. I'm in one of the IITs, Mech, Civil and even biotech grads are doing minor in Computer Science. Being honest my major is Chem Eng. and I am preparing for CAT. Core in india is dead.
I agree that Government is not friendly towards foreign companies because, like China, we too are aiming for AtmaNirbhar(self sufficiency). We are aiming to build indigenous companies & export our own product globally eg: UPI. Rn our entire market is dominated by US & Chinese companies. Ik we are nowhere close to china’s self sufficiency but hope we will be someday & that would happen if our R&D is high & more focused on manufacturing sector.
It does not matter how capable and efficient you are as AI becomes more advanced there is a Tsunami which is imminent. Now it may look like the distant future but within the next 2 years there will be chaos.
it just talks about good 2% of Bangalore. I have been to Bangalore. Its good for certain kind of things. You certainly don't want to be an Indian IT worker here. If you are really good in IT, you move to foreign countries or have your old startup. IT laborer here has heavy competition. The qualify of life is non-existent if you include that competition. None of the IT workers care about the work. There is no meaning in life or working there. You will be like a very unimportant , just a number.
I have to respectfully disagree with the comment at 6:25 that suggests sticking to a domain and company for 3-4 years is necessary for growth. In my opinion, this advice is too rigid and doesn't account for individual circumstances. Many IT professionals with 5-15 years of experience would acknowledge that being in the right place at the right time played a significant role in their success, particularly in India where the industry was still in its early stages. Instead, I believe it's essential to stay adaptable, continually upskill, and be open to reinventing oneself as the landscape changes. While hard work is crucial, luck also plays a role, and blindly following a'stick with one industry' approach can be harmful if it's not the right fit for an individual.
The gentlemen in the video said that the key to a high package in IT is sticking to one domain gain expertise in it. But my question is what if a fresher gets stuck in domain that they are not liking? This a very common thing in MNCs during mass hiring. Wouldn't it make sense to check out other domains while you are new and young? This the dilemma that I am facing. I would like to hear others opinion
I think if you don't like a domain then you can try other domains.... But if you love the domain you started with just like the man in the video then sticking to the same domain would be much better...
You need to start skilling yourself in the domain that you are interested in while working in your current job to support yourself. Once you feel confident enough you need to switch, mind that your salary would be lower but that’s alright since it’s the beginning. Once you start working in a domain you are interested, trust me you will grow pretty fast.
@@InfaredMyth thanks for the input, I am studying and interviewing along with my job, got one offer but couldn't go due to notice period issues😞. It's hard but that one offer gave me confidence. Study along with job is hard. Worst case scenario if I feel that it's not working, I am even prepared to prepare after resigning.
@@harshpandey7461 thanks for your input, my current domain is embedded systems program. I feel like it's not my cup of tea, I am more inclined towards traditional full stack Java development.
Really? Kolkata? of all places in India? What's there? Daily oppression of people, terror activity, bombing, killing, riots, political parties killing people for not voting for them, rapes, minority appeasement, too much arrogance of god knows what, decaying infrastructure... Industries went out of the state long ago... there is no growth... what does WB even offer except violence?
Northern people capture whole Bengaluru like jungle and that's why whoever go there locals of Karnataka behave very badly, my bhya had an experience where a Punture wala refused to work also says (tum Hindi logo ka nai h idhr khuch yha nai chlega sab kha rahe bhut jaldi bhut jaldi tumke btega humare yha k) ..since that year that day I get it why hate at peak. Yes most other region people' are not good enough for that place
they are not. they are just cheap labour still. I have worked there and majority are just intermediate level. but western companies pays high as per local standard since it's still just 25% cost for them.
Dude keep your judgmental advice to yourself. It's nothing to do with culture we are the same people who contributed 23-25% of global economy before so called British colonization. You know nothing about us wait for 15-20 years we'll show you who we are
Indian culture has nothing to do with it.. Our culture is not affecting our development nor has it had any effect in the past. We will work and make our country better. We love our culture and we are not going to give it up.
multitude of factors. For first 45 years we has leftist governemnts that ruled us. 1991 ecvonomic reforms paved they for capitalism. Secondly unlike china which was not colonised for a long time, we were colonised for 800 , not just 200 years. This thing broke the fabric of our society. Fourth we have congress party which ruled for 50 years but didnt have any inclinination towards development.
India despite being a former British colony. literacy rate was 14% in 1947, that means they are simply educated, not necessarily in English but in our native languages. Democracy for India was a curse, because for every small step, a majority of agreement was needed, government was unstable, not always but could change every 5 years. And election every 5 years means, Political parties engage in more welfare activities, vote bank politics than development activities, now also same thing is happening. Then, administration of India is very slow. Like in case of Ahmedabad-Mumbai Bullet train project, it took around 10 years just to do survey, get Clerance from different departments like water, land clearance, ecology wildlife clearance, and then to acquire land. Then, since it was between 2 states, they previous government were from same party, they agreed for this project, then in one state the party changed, and the project was halted, now again both states have same political party and work is in progress. And lastly, India lacked funds. US, and other European countries invested more in Pakistan, with whom they allied until late 2000s. Also, Corrupt nature at many levels in India and here we are today..... Now we have better government in clear majority, so most other political parties cannot oppose much, and hence works happens quicker than before.
Without the american companies, indians wont be getting such high salaries. It is because of the american companies who are doing business in the Indian markets and have direct access to the B2C markets in india. Indians get paid because of these american companies for which they work as a vendor or service-provider and not directly competing in the market along with these companies. There is huge difference in real growth and glorifying service-based work for gaint american companies who already have captured a huge share of the market.
@@parker4406 LOL. i wont be replying if i was a Bot. The Brain Drain problem in india is a real thing. Atleast the chinese have some self-respect and start their own companies instead of being a mental slave to the west. Indians endured physical slavery during colonization and now they are economic slaves to the west.
@@garima2817 If the British Empire's colonization of India ended,so What is India? Why is India a country? After the end of British colonization, India continued to retain British colonization of Indian regions?
Yeah, that's why talentlesss Indian engineers were able to land a rover near the South Pole of the moon whereas, let me guess, engineers from Taiwan landed what, a potato?
Actually India has many people i mean most businesses and hawkers are evading taxes. The GDP methodology used in India is faulty. At least 7 percent of Indians are earning $2400.
