He literally has said that that IS his name. He comes on stage and says “Hi everyone! I’m Timmy’s Dad!” They made a joke that they changed their names to that, and the mom used to be named “Dad.” And he had another name I can’t remember as I’m not a super fan.
@@Nintendo_Wolf I think it might be because the dinklebergs don't have children as to nearly every other person in the Turner's neighborhood and they're just jealous that since they don't have children they are able to do whatever selfish thing they want

I mostly think that Dad is crazy with Dunkelberg because of some kind of trauma that he had with another friend who used to be named dingleberry and thanks for the trauma every time he hears the word Dunkelberg he just gets angry for no stinking reason.
I believe Mr. Turner doesn’t even know he just doesn’t like the guy. I know there where people I just didn’t like in school but I was easy to anger, or maybe something happened between the two and Mr. Turner just never forgave him.
I love Dinkleberg because he reminded me of the old tv shows I'd watch as a kid when I was home sick from school. There ALWAYS was the next door neighbors that the parents always seemed to compete with. I loved watching the Fairly Oddparents with my kids. I really wish there were more shows like it today. Not much worth watching with my younger kids now. Thanks for giving us parents something to laugh and enjoy with our kids! AND we can't thank you enough for the great message you left for our twins on their birthday--we'll always treasure it--especially since you called Jimmy, Johnny....too funny....we LOVE you!
Remy needs to be known more ever since he, like the past characters of FOP, were neglected over time until they fade into obscurity in favor of Timmy being close to Chloe (Tootie will still be jealous of her).
Breaking down the name “Dinkleberg: -Berg (Typically a surname suffix in association with German-Jews) DINK (Sociological term for double-income no kids.) No wonder the name.
Don't forget the episode when Timmy's Dad wanted to compete in the beauty paegant and the winner was going to be mayor for a day. Timmy envisioned his dad making Mr. Dinkleberg work like a slave. LOL. Of course Adam West having a crush Timmy's Dad was both hilarious and weird. In a good way.
I think it's a combination of everything mentioned plus Dad just being Dad. He doesn't usually have or need an excuse for the stings he says/does/feels and I love that about him. Also, it would be coll to learn Mr. and Mrs. Turner's names, but I don't think it's really a must or that it would make much of a difference since it's usually only Timmy they're interacting with. I can see an episode of Timmy trying to figure it our for some reason, a Crocker test or something.
I heard a theory that Dinkelberg got his name from Dual Income, No Kids. Which is why he's so loaded and why Dad hates him so much. Because you know, shattered dreams.

he hates dinkleburg due to an old family feud that goes back generations but was forgotten till dad and dinkleburg met as kids with mom being the catalyst that Timmy will have nothing to do with the feud because he doesn't know about it and is not affected by it anymore.
Dinkleburg is like the Alan (the amazing world of gumball) of Nickelodeon he was so nice to pretend he was evil just to make Robert happy (Timmy’s dad) the same for Alan , gumball was trying to break him by seeing what makes him mad and at the end he scratched his feet against the clean hallways and Alan said it drove him mad gumball did it and actaully that he was drivin mad but we find out he only did it to make gumball happy that just shows how much they both wanna make both of them happy

When you watch the episode where Timmy goes back in time to find out why Crocker so mean you find out that Dinkleburg dated Timmy's mom for hot second before they made him rich just for his fashion then dumped her that exact moment but Timmy's dad already disliked Dinkleburg though
Mr. Turner hates Mr. Dinkleberg for the same reason Homer Simpson hates Ned Flanders. Have you noticed we almost never see who lives in the other "next door" to the Simpson family?
You're right, Mr. Turner DOES have a lot he should be thankful for. But his stupid rivalry with Sheldon Dinkleburg always gets in the way of that. The way I see it, I think Mr. T feels jealous of him. It's even implied in the one episode that the Dinkleburgs only have their stuff because they don't have a kid to raise. But here's the thing, is raising ONE kid really that much of a drain on a parent's wallet; especially when half of his things are provided by fairies? Raising one child shouldn't be that big of a hassle to deal with. But then again, the Turners ARE idiots; so...
