I have been to Iran on several occasions and not only they are not offended but have a lot of respect for religious minorities however the Islamic Government has a completely different view and approach.
This might come as a shock to you, but we actually celebrate it! Special events, special food, trees, films, etc. No one has a problem in Arab countries with a Muslim majority. All communities and minorities are part of the same nation. Ask any Arab person and they’ll tell you as much. (I wouldn’t know about Iran, however. Haven’t been there)

People tolerate Christianity in most countries. Of the few countries that don’t tolerate it, they are all dictatorships that only continue because many people buy petrol for their cars from the oil companies of those dictatorships, and because the US and UK govts prop them up with military aid, arms sales, etc..

I have many Muslim friends and neighbours and it is my pleasure to wish them Eide Mubarak, to me it's great to have a everyone enjoy life in peace and love. If everyone could treat each other with human decency and love the need to travel as a refugee would end, we live in an abundant world with more than enough for us all,

My question is why would any migrant/illegal want to go to the most racist of countries UK and America? They were warned but they come anyway. Does anyone find this curious? This is an aside in the case of UK with its language, religion and culture how do these travelers fit in to the ways of the country without pulling the country apart?

@@SimonAshworthWood Actually it does make sense. Parts of major cities in the UK and US now look like 3rd world shitholes. In two towns alone in England with a population of 50 k, have more than 35 mosques each. It's easy to see that you live in a 98% white suburb somewhere.
