We continue down the rabbit hole of Chilla's Art games. Up this time is the terrifying Night Delivery | 例外配達 Buy MY coffee: topofthemornincoffee.com/ Twitter : / jacksepticeye Instagram : / jacksepticeye Edited By: / @aliceandchill
For everyone about to come in here to yell at the bot, just report them for spam to remove them. Don’t interact, it only triggers more activity from them.
Interesting detail: At 39:40 when Jack looked at the rent payment paper, every column but one is for 40,000 Yen. For Kouhei, however, it is 70,000. The manager was taking advantage of his disability & welfare payments to charge him almost double the normal pay.
say, wasnt the cat food for a dog or something? or did they change it? since i think i remember that there was also a letter found near the dog about kohei as well...
One detail that I noticed is that the room that had the blood dripping down was room 304, directly below room 404 where the bodies were. Also, as Jack noted, 4 is an unlucky number in a lot of Asian cultures, hence the murders taking place in room 404.
I didn’t really notice that. Also was wondering at the beginning why they didn’t take out floor 4, I guess towards the end we got what we wanted in that superstition coming true
The most unrealistic part of this game is delivery drivers actually delivering the package and making sure we receive it and not have to come pick it up cause we “missed” it
More unrealistic is getting a cracked response like "go talk to the priest and give him my money" and not just pretending you did it and handing over the package or just leaving it at the damn door.
"Being a delivery person sucks, I'm probably going to get stabbed." Literally me doing food delivery at night when people don't leave their porch lights on.
My dad always tells me about when he used to work for (I think it was dominoes) the delivery guy would get mugged daily by this twelvish year old girl. She would kick him in the shins then take a pizza and run off, the guy never knew what to do because he was too nice to fight back against this little girl so he just let her take the pizza.
A bit more information: To get the third note for Ending 1, you need the key to Kohei's mailbox (404). To get it, when you find the apartment with the fridge photos, go out to the balcony and knock the flowerpot off. Then, before delivering the package to room 404, check the alley and find the key so you can get the note from the mailbox. (You don't actually have to leave the apartment before the door closes.) As for the story, it's even worse: According to the landlord's bankbook, the landlord charged all of the other tenants 40,000 yen a month... roughly $316 in US dollars, or 293 Euro. Kohei, in the bad luck apartment (because 4 in Japanese sounds like the word for "death") was being charged 70,000 yen a month... roughly $554 or 512 Euro. When Kohei found this out, the landlord killed him and stuffed his body into the fridge. (That's the robed figure that ran up to you in the elevator.) He then didn't report the death so he could keep getting paid. In ending 1, you effectively avenge Kohei's death by taking the bankbook to the police. The landlord is removed and the apartments evacuated. (In the original ending, the landlord was arrested.) All the other tenants cluster around 404 to wonder about the person they never wanted to know in life. In ending 2, because you didn't complete the tasks needed, Kohei's vengeful spirit kills everyone in the complex... including you.
Kohoei is mean instead of clearly explaining what happened he created a puzzle and if I fail I die , this remind me of a poesy, oh vengeful spirit why'd you not kill the man who hurted you (well it's as close as it can get from my memory) the point is if kohoei know who the killer is he should directly go for him after becoming a spirit without waisting a sec , so yeah ghost aren't real
@@abderrahim552 no one said ghosts are real it’s just a tragedy he left a home full of shitty people to find new shitty people that only show interest when his murdered corpse is found in his home not even about him. He died violently he’s probably not come to terms with it and that pain and fury out being cheated out of a happy life probably consumed him so he targeted everyone in that building as this is where he associated his pain
As a person on disability, I understand what Kohai went through. A lot of people looked down upon me. And I had people who pretended to be my friend so they can use me for money, especially my ex. Well, now I became my own payee so people can't financially abuse me anymore. Now it's easier to tell who is my friend.
I feel so sad for Kohei, everyone in the apartment complex sucks. I like ending 2 but I prefer the first one. They are so rude, mean, and awful to a disabled person just because they're disabled and on disability. Screw them. This story really got to me emotionally and mentally, because I'm on disability myself. I don't tell anyone in my life I'm on it, I don't tell my friends, anyone close I don't tell them. Because I'm afraid they'll judge me just like how all of them were judging Kohei, it's hard you know. It's really freaking hard in this world
I’m on welfare and my office manager is an asshole she belittled me in front of two other tenants. Made remark that my “daddy” shouldn’t pay for everything that at 18 I’m legally an adult and should have been working acting like I’ve never worked mind you I have only lived here sense april judgemental people are awful.. people act like if you don’t have a disability people can see your not disabled.
i know i’m late on this one, but you don’t owe anyone anything for just existing!! in a work-driven capitalist society, we are taught it’s wrong to need the support of others. that is far from the case! you are valid, just the way you are, and you don’t deserve to feel guilt over it!!
i came to say this too.. im disabled too and whenever he read those notes i felt so close to Kohei because damn it really is sad and true that people take advantage of you.. the world is awful and chillas games really capture things like this. the awful world woo
The sound effects for these games really add to the fear. But also jacks commentary for this video, the fear and horror in his voice as he said *"no, the fridge"*
Sean: I shouldn't be looking into your window, that's disrespectful Also Sean: (screaming through the door knowing it's already nighttime) YOU HAVE A PACKAGE Brother, you are so effortlessly funny!
If you’re on welfare/disabled I love and support you. You contribute to society enough by existing, don’t let anyone force you into thinking that’s not true.
Yeah, you have the right to exist and be happy, no matter what the stupid ignorant people say! Anyone who says shit about you needing help is either misplacing their anger about something else on you and/or has no idea what life is like for you, they don't get to whine about your struggle.
True think any of these jobs no matter the shift just sucks night shift sucks cause it's at night. Day shift sucks cause that's the busiest and also more customers complaining about everything!!! I also think isn't it a thing night shift gets paid more than day shifters
@@creepy-kitty as someome who worked nights at two different jobs: no we didnt get paid more. Also it isnt bad "because its just night". a lot of homeless/drug addicts hang around places at night, and we've had several people OD on property, which does not happen during the day as often. Also came across dead bodies on ocassion, and people that looked dead till you gave em a kick
Yeah night shifts are awful. I hated when the sky would turned, the cement walls started blocking stairwells and hallways making me use the ladders that appeared randomly. But I hate ladders, so that's probably why I hated it, otherwise it's fine.
me too. Like, I expected that something is coming to happen and the guy himself didnt scare me. It was just the sound, his speed and the fact that we couldnt do anything against him. The sound sounded like a laugh right?
Jack : _"Ugh, that is so messed up"_ [47:18] Sadly, this happened with senior citizens more often that you may think. A famous case of this is a 111 y'old man in Japan. When authorities came to congratulate the man for his longevity. They were denied entry by his granddaughter because _"[Name] didn't want any guests at the moment"_ which made the police raise an eyebrow. So when they did an investigation and forcefully busted in. They found the mummified body of the old man on his bed still in his pajamas. Turns out he has been dead for the last 30 years so he died at 81 and didn't live to 111. While his daughter and granddaughter have been leeching off the welfare money that was sent to the old man. They were later charged with fraud and the granddaughter was sentenced to 2 years in jail. Imagine doing that to your own goddamn grandpa. The Japanese Government then tried to see if any similar cases happened with their other senior citizens and concluded that they didn't even know how 260,000+ of their elderly citizen were doing and just straight up assumed they were still alive.
This is the same country who punished kamikaze pilots who came back tho, some Japanese never lost that anything to come out on top mentality I guess. Btw not a hate comment I know plenty of Japanese people and they can be some of the sweetest and most generous people, just recently one gave my family a ten pound pork loin for no reason we had to have company over to get rid of it all lol.
crazy dude. this happened in my town except she didn’t get away with it but for a couple of months. she apparently just kept piling blankets on top of her grandmother in a recliner and sticking air fresheners around and in between the blankets. yeesh, my grandparents are so precious, i can’t even imagine doing that.
Wow, the jumpscare at 36:00 was the first jumpscare to get me in quite a while! Been loving the Chilla's Art games and pleased to find I can still be genuinely jumpscared by something!
Jack: “is there ANYbody who laughs at all my jokes?” My dad: **raises hand**🤚🏼 Jack: “I don’t want them either. I don’t want someone to laugh at ALL my jokes!” My dad: 🖕🏼
Jack: "All the stereotypical knowledge that I learned about Japan before said that there was no 4s in the elevators here" *misses that there were no rooms 104, 204, 304, 404 and 504 originally, or did and ignored it*
@@kenmagane8639 In Japan, yes. Because in Japanese, there's two ways to say number 4. One of them is "yon". But the other way is "shi". "Shi" also means "death". As such, it's a "bad luck" number, similar to how 13 is a number for bad luck in some places. Also, because of that, a lot of people avoid saying "shi", and prefer just saying "yon". However, people prefer saying "shi" when counting, since it's easier to say "Ichi, ni, san, shi, go" (One, two, three, four, five), than it is to say "Ichi, ni, san, yon, go" (One, two, three, four, five). On the other hand, people prefer using "yon" when using the word with nouns, because it feels more specific, and easier to tell. Cause if you were to use "shi", the meaning could get confusing a bit.
This series of games by Chilla's Art is just amazing it me. At some point, I wonder if they'll do a game with a Teacher as their protagonist, either at a PTA meeting (They have those in Japan, iirc) or them grading student papers and, as the nights go on, stranger things happen in the school. It just sounds like it'd be interesting and also make a point of how much shit teachers go through, especially if theres the students' parents involved.
As a fed ex delivery driver I’m glad that Jack clarified that he doesn’t actually think the job is easy lol at first the job really isn’t but it is when you get the hang of it
Sadly, the way the people in this game treated Kohei accurately reflects the mistreatment of disabled people in real life. Also, some people said that the reason the stairs to the fourth floor were blocked was because the residents were trying to block off his only way of navigating the apartment
@@Wra1th1 really makes you realise that no society or culture is perfect because we're humans and humans suck People (including myself when I was younger) put Japanese culture (aswell as other cultures and individuals, and community groups) on a pedestal but no, humans are still the worst
Its really just Japan. We really consider it to be one of the best countries to live in, completely ignoring the disgusting way they treat mental disabilities and disabilities in general. Like yeah discipline and all is cool but it just sounds suffocating to me.
Yes, throw someone else's coffee into a bag with your brand's name on it, and watch as your gullible audience buys it up. He's taking advantage of people.
the really fascinating part about japanese horror is that they take advantage of the silence, makes your brain fill in the gaps and try to figure out what will happen next
Your jokes don’t always have to be funny, Sean. You just have an endearingly random way of entertaining us which automatically brings a smile upon our faces, so I would like to thank you for that. You’re officially my favorite RU-vidr!
This man really just did a whole skit just for the intro and you know it's going to be lit why Jack did all of this, As always appreciate you for everything you do Jack..
@@presleyhanzlik2588 same i have autism too i got bullied all my life too and still am getting bullied. Its never easy if you have a disability to a certain extent.
What I love about Chilla'sArt games is that it's not just your simple horror games. Some of the games they made talks about society and psychological issues of modern-day Japan. I know that they like to "not explicitly" tell you what the story is. The story and ending are always open for anyone's interpretation.
if you want to see like all of Chillas Art games to basically binge go check out The Librarian, he’s a small yt that just plays horror games, and from what I know he’s played like every single one of Chillas Art games.
After probably a decade since I last watched Jacksepticeye, I found his Closing Shift video a couple weeks ago. I've since binged all of Sean's videos from December 2021 to now. I gotta say, I'm so glad such a force of positivity is still active. Despite health issues and everything else that's happened over the past few years, it's so nice to be able to have people like Sean who keep it real, share what they are going through, and still make content to entertain and cheer us up. Thank you. It means so much.
Remember Tobuscus? Well those accusations against him were proven FALSE several years ago. The people who unsubscribed still haven't subscribed back though and now Toby lost motivation to upload as frequently as he used to. His mom is sick and he isn't making enough money to support her nor is he getting the amount of support from his fans that he used to.
I like how in every one of these games Jack really gets into character. Like normally you'd just play a horror game like this and when all the crazy shit started happening you'd be like yeah ok, but Jacks like "I'm just the delivery guy I shouldnt be doing all this."
Oh my gosh! That was so good! Your camera and directing skills amaze me a million times over again and I love it when you post because you're so funny and it's just awesome to see you it truly is a blessing
Chilla’s Art has developed 16 games!! I’d love if Jack could play all of them, but I understand that’s a lot to do. Their games are just sooo good in my opinion.
I’ve been watching all your horror stuff on the channel and haven’t been scared or had my heart race but That intro was so well done!!! It made my heart race and as a horror fan I haven’t actually been frightened properly in a long time!!! Thank you!!! It felt so real!!!
The best part of watching Sean play scary games is knowing he doesn't like jump scares. I get most of your jokes and I always find you entertaining and I laugh so hard. You are just such pure joy to watch.
Your Chillas art game play throughs are so entertaining, I’ve watched them multiple times just in the background. It’s just kinda fun to have someone talking in the background while you work/draw/ do chores If I were to recommend another Chillas art game, it would be Missing Children, I loved it and the scares are WILD.
Omg same. I'll be cleaning the kitchen with my earbuds in and giggling at his jokes/reactions. This is some of my fave content of late. I normally hate horror and jump scares but Jack makes them fun and the storylines are just epic
There's a possibility that the elevator scene was the protagonist living through Kohei's last moments, and the figure running towards you is the person who killed him (presumably the landlord)
23:49 I don't know why but that moment is just too funny, imagine delivering something in the middle of the night and as soon as you open the door, a toddler in diapers just storms out and starts running. It's both terrifying and hilarious.
the mounting confusion completely dispels any fear i might have had. hard to be scared when i don't know what's even happening. but in the immortal words of captain barbosa, "thank ye, jack."
35:58 that scare was fucking bone chilling! i cant remember the last scary game that gave such a feeling of genuine fear in my mind. fucking well done!
I was thinking the same thing! I've consumed so much horror content for the past six years, not a lot gets to me anymore. But this game is just fucking outstanding 👏
The most dedicated delivery driver in the history of the world. The second anything went weird, any other driver would have noped right out, but not this guy!
I screamed so loud at him getting attacked in the elevator that my one year old started bawling. I have never screamed in these videos before, but that very much caught me off guard.
