The Greek words for "full of grace" are "pleris charis" and are used to describe Savior Jesus in John 1:14 -- these are not the same Greek words used in Luke 1 to describe Mary -- Mary was being graced/favored, not "full of grace".

This is sort of veneration is completely nauseating and disgusting. What an insult to Mary! She was not conceived without sin........that means her mother and her mother's mother, and her mother's mother had to be sinless! What a complete Crock of Crap! The Scriptures teach that ALL have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God (Roman 3:23) and there is "no one that is righteous, no, not one (Roman 3:10). Mary was not sinless. She was a good woman, but she was human, so if she had been sinless, then her mother or father, or both, would also have been sinless, which means one or both of her grandparents , great-grandparents etc.....would also have been sinless, and this would have gone right back to adam and eve, and one, or both of them would also have needed to be sinless, but we know they weren't, because they sinned when they ate from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. By claiming Mary was sinless, the vatican claims there was no fall of man, and if there was no fall of man, there was no need for a Saviour / Messiah, so the erroneous belief that Mary was sinless is actually anti-Christian. The bible also tells us ( Luke 2:24 ) that Mary offered two turtledoves. Leviticus 12:8 tells us speciifically that this was a "sin offering" for the poor who couldn't afford a lamb. She plays absolutely no part in the salvation process whatsoever, and doesn't hear prayers or rosary etc.... Jesus Himself said "I am the way, the truth, and the life.
