@@WEEBMASTER-er2us Well I still always sleep on my right side, or sometimes on my back. My right is still def weaker, but beards improving a lot with Minox. A few more months and my cheeks should be filled in enough to grow a nice beard. (Been using Minox for 8 months, but I slacked off for a month and lost a small amount of my gains. But I’ve been back on track for 1-2 months, and it’s thicker than ever.) I know pressure reduces blood flow to a certain extent, and the human head weighs quite a bit, so I don’t think it’s a coincidence that my right side is weaker and 80-90% of the time I sleep on my right side. If it wasn’t for my patchy cheeks, I could grow a sweet beard. My sideburns, jawline, neck, and mustache are solid. But cheeks have always been weak. Another 2-4 months & I might finally get there. Minox seems to be slower progress for me than many guys, but it’s definitely working pretty well.

I fall asleep on my stronger side. When we sleep we move about also. Essentially there is very little evidence supporting this being caused by sleep. It's more likely just genetics. Nobody is perfectly semetrical

I thought the same which is why I searched, found this vid and then this comment. My hypothesis is sleep governs hormonal balance and maybe the difference in beard growth originates from relative temperature difference between the side of the face that is close to the mattress vs the side that is cool and exposed to air all night. Maybe temperature is a variable that governs hair growth esp at night. Staying cool by sleeping naked is known to boost testosterone.

Hairs dont convert they have to fall out (shed) and be replaced. Vellus and terminal hairs are 2 distinct classifications. Dermarolling wont necessarily help with that from what I know.

Personally I assume my right side is weaker at least partially bc I sleep on my right side almost every night, thus reducing blood flow mildly to my right cheek & face, from pillow’s pressure on my face. @@EricBoston1992 not really, normally I sleep in a straight position sometimes I sleep on the right side or the left side, even in the internet also speculate that's what probably cause the uneven beard growth.

Right until now, when I left my beard unshave, the left side grows healthy and long, however my right side, not even a single hair on the chin, and it looks weird if I leave my beard grow long lol. Imagine seeing a man, with only beard grow on the left side.😅 Not to mention that my moustache grows uneven too.😑

+ask nightghost i already had denser hair pattern on that area before minox although it has improved greatly where as i started from almost nothing on the cheeks. Just luck of the draw really. Other minox youtubers tend to have stronger cheeks than I.

Its about the blood flow, more blood flows around those areas, that why ppls usualy got thicker beard on the chin and below, and the cheeks are weak cuz there is not much blood flow there

+ZEUS no. It wont affect how his genetics are expressed. Its not that you didn't have the genetics ...if you didn't minoxidil wouldn't work... its more that the genes fro beard growth were not expressed naturally by you at this particular point in time. It hasn't altered your genetics in anyway and therefore you will pass on the same to any hypothetical son you have. However its key to note that women pass on beard genes too just as much as men do which will depend on all the people in her family she is directly related to. Including ancestors. Believe it or not women have beard genes that arent expressed thats why trans guys who are biologically female can grow beards once given normal male levels of testosterone...they had the genetics it just wasn't expressed So basically no minoxidil terminal beard growth will not garuntee your child will be a bearded behemoth however your wifes genes may help contribute to that

+george balan well it depends where you are in the world. You can get it done in Turkey for about £2500. In the UK its about £7500 in the US i think pretty similar. Its not overnight though they put the follicles in place but it can take many months for them to start to grow a hair

Well.. you haven't even used minox that long bro. Theres no tried and test way to speed up the process it takes as long as it takes and requires patience. Go for 0.5mm in size
