I couldn't agree with you more! Older is more often better. Plus the craftsmanship in making them is of the highest quality. They didn't make throw-a-way tools back then. There was fewer parts to replace or rework. Enjoyed, take care!

I’ve been to London and visited the museums and galleries just to say I’ve seen but I have to confess I get greater pleasure standing back and looking at the chisel collection on my tool wall and bench with shavings than I did the Constables.😂

Agree more about old hand tools and machinery. I own coronet major, with planer attachment and thickener, plus old carving chisels . After old bandsaw at the moment, coronet imp if I get one locally to me . Keep posting enjoy your u tube videos.

Thanks. Very interesting. Unfortunately, most of my tools are new . A relatively new person to playing with wood, so I need to follow people like your good self to pick up tips.
