Today we are going to discuss the last sporty, fast and classic looking Jaguar, which is XJR of X350 generation. Why is it going to increase in price becoming future classic car? How much is it now and how reliable is it?
My 2007 XJR has more than 300.000 miles in the clock (492.500km right now), and it still pulls strong as day one. In terms of maintenance, the main problem with this car is the air suspension (6.000€ in original parts for just the 4 air struts), the rest of the maintenance is quite affordable for the kind of vehicle it is.
The X358 with the 4.2 supercharged engine is a piece of work. I've racked up 145,000 miles in a Range Rover with this engine and other than standard servicing I've never been disappointed. I'm now running a ex Japan Daimler Super 8. The ultimate wolf in sheep's clothing. It has the ability to scare the life out of Tesla drivers - which is good!
Good video! I just recently bought a 2007 X350 (XJ) Daimler Super Eight! It’s very rare as they only made 853 of them worldwide. See a short video I made of it on my channel and let me know what you think 👍😉
Engine oil lost its protective structure not only with a mileage but also with age. If you do 3K per year, there would be no problem if you change oil every 1,5 year, but I wouldn’t go for more.
