I'm sorry, was the outcome even remotely debatable? Mahoraga gave Sukuna a decent fight, RIGHT after he trashed Jogo, so it's obvious which of the two is stronger.

Completely agree. Honestly if you're not gojo, sukuna and maybe the other special grade sorcerers (kenjaku, yuki, and yuta) you're more than likely not winning against mahoraga. He's part of that top tier of the verse while jogo is I'd say probably in the tier directly below toji/maki imo.

You guys forgot, right after hitting sukuna with negative cursed energy, mahoraga adapted, and his next hit on sukuna was charged with positive cursed energy which sent sukuna flying. Mahoraga is a monster.

I really like how the Mahoraga vs Sukuna fight really shows off just how powerful a 10 Shadows Master is, and why everyone has their panties wet for Megumi. If someone is able to master 10 Shadows, then that means they were able to subdue Mahoraga, so that immediately puts them at the very least at 13-15 sukuna fingers level. Now imagine having to fight someone at that level AND MAHORAGA AT THE SAME TIME, plus the other Shikigami. ****MANGA SPOILERS**** Hilariously, it highlights even more just how monstruously powerful Gojo is, being able to fend off an even stronger Sukuna and Mahoraga simultaneously.

I don't remember the fight, but from my point of view Sukuna was semi-panicking because he gave a very strong attack, and if Mahoraga were to come back, he would be immune to the said attack. That's how i remember it.

Can we get a vs battle with Choso vs another higher grade one. Or a special grade curse. Kinda hard to scale his new awakening probably, but him vs like Jogo or Mahito might be interesting

If Jogo doesn’t _immediately_ open his domain and use meteor, he’s done, and it’s not even guaranteed that that would work.

I think the main thing you need vs Mahoraga is high Battle IQ to understand how it adapts. Like if Jogo starts with Maximum Meteor, it'd probably work but no one usually starts full blast like that.

I don’t think anyone was ever questioning whether or not Jogo would win this. Everyone knows it’s another opponent that would fodderize him.

Jogo is literally the punching bag of JJK, he keeps fighting people way stronger than him.

I think it's a matter of awareness. If jogo knows about mahoraga technique in advance he'll go straight domain expansion and maximum meteor But in a no information fight he'll start by normal flame attacks which will allow mahoraga to adapt to heat fluctuation attacks.

This really didn't need any discussion. We know that Mahoraga one shots a 15 finger Sukuna if it had the body of a cursed spirit, 15 finger Sukuna is stronger than Jogo. Mahoraga should one shot any curse weaker or equal to a 15 finger Sukuna.

What's crazy is that if you think about it Jogo probably could've ended the series in Shibuya had he not chosen to awaken Sukuna instead of teeing off on everyone in Shibuya or if he gets through everyone until he gets to Megumi and Yuji

seems pretty cut and dry to me. mahoraga was able to give sukuna a tough time while jogo wasn’t able to. obviously most encounters are a little more complicated than that but it’s pretty clear who would come out on top

Mahoraga sword is imbued with positive curse energy so it could one hit kill any curses. It would have killed sakuna if he was in his curse form not in Yuji body as stated by sakuna himself so certainly no curses seem to stand chance against megumi's mahoraga. I don't know what sakuna mahoraga can do may be it can kill curses by waving sword in air.

I mean, it seems like he doesn't adapt to the technique but the type of damage done to him, and so something like Gojo's Infinite Void could be adapted to by simply giving Mahoraga a pseudo domain of some sort. Number 1, He bonks Jogo with the sword of extermination and he dies. Number 2, Despite perception blitzing Maki and two grade 1 sorcerers and only killed an exhausted Naobito, Nanami after a point blank blast was still strong enough to fend off transfigured humans and Maki lived to become who she is now.

I mean, the only issue is that Jogo's a one-trick pony. If Jogo for some reason uses Maximum Meteor immediately and Mahoraga just tries to tank it, there could be some possibility that it could kill him on the spot before any adaptions could be put in place.. But otherwise, Jogo gets bodied.

You know I'd like a Jujutsu Kaisen fighting game where you can play as any of the main sorcerers (And Junpei), Toji, Shikigami like Mahoraga here and the disaster curses, especially if playing as Mahoraga grants access to that positive energy he uses at the start so you could destroy a curse in one second

The fact that sukuna had to use his domain and flames to finish mahoraga shows that Jogo wouldn’t stand a chance. Even gege himself stated that Jogo wouldn’t survive 5 black flash attacks from Yuji and a playful could hit from todo(stated in geges comments at the end of manga panels) sukuna was literally toying with Jogo but mahoraga was able to send him flying through buildings and was able to survive attacks from sukuna and his domain expansion even if Jogo did attack his abilities are flames meaning mahaoarag would adjust to them and the wouldn’t be able to damage him on the other hand if he received attacks from mahoraga I don’t think he would survive. Let’s not forget mahoraga has the executioners blade which is imbued with positive cursed energy, one hits with that and Jogo is history. Even 15 finger sukuna said if he was a curse he would have died that instant.
