Why 'LOON' Quit Being Christian: Saw Church Treat Poor Man Unfair 

What was crazy was I saw the church take money from people every time we went. So much money. When I became Muslim the whole Mosque gave me money. That always stayed with me. Now when a new brother comes back home and becomes Muslim. I do the same.

What turned me away from the church was similar to what Loon says turned him away. What turned me away from the church was because there’s too many politics in the church. You can get appointed to any position just on the strength of you either being related to someone or how much tithes and offerings you give the church. Then there’s the money, I feel when I go to church I’m paying a cover charge just to attend. Like has anyone ever sat back and thought like what does God need money for??? He’s the creator of all things why does He need all this money? It certainly isn’t because it’s the only way he can bless me. The Lord wants your time and attention but the church makes it all about money and not enough of how to build your relationship with God and how to pray. What I witnessed in the church was so fowl and even the mothers of the church are to blame as to why people coming off the street to join a church wind up back on the street soon after. As far as Sunday School OMG not sure if this was a place to learn the word of God or the place to be lead astray. We were taught that once the Lord bless you he can’t take it away because He’s not an indian giver 🤦🏿‍♀️. Then after Sunday school they asked for an offering smh. I can go on and on as to why so many people are turning away from the church, you’re supposed to be leading people to God not judging what they wear, obviously if they’re coming off the street they’re not going to have options. Help them get bathed and dressed if it’s an issue. The church doesn’t even provide for their saints, just take their last and if they don’t have their last for gas or or rent it’s just oh well ask the Lord to bless you smh. Lordy so I understand where Loon is coming from.

A lot of Christians have also mastered the art of deflection when asked sincere questions about trinitarianism. Muslims and Jews believe in Jesus; they just don’t believe he was God.

I’ve been watching since this channel since it’s existed, back when Rita was here! This content is not the same, I’ve been watching it less and less. I felt like I was actually gaining knowledge and learning about my people that never got their just due from Hollywood. Storytelling by some comedians was great! But now some of these topics aren’t even related to comedy. This dude made music! Did he act in a sitcom? Do standup or tell jokes? Movie role? A comedians child, bodyguard something? If I wanted to hear from music people, I’d follow a music channel that interviews past/current music acts. I come to this channel for comedy! I was happy to come across this channel after the passing of John Witherspoon, I was watching his funeral clips and this channel popped up in the recommended. I’ll check back in with y’all later, I guess I’ll stick with the comedians who do podcast they tell some cool stories here and there.
