So he had a problem with Lupe charging fans basically $1000 total for a verse and showing up at the studio of their choice. No need to cover airline fare or hotel stay. Hell, the fans were getting a damn good deal.

Lupe hates Cudi because there was a period in time (post-MOTM2 I think?) where Cudi was going through a really tough time and Lupe was actually there for him and checking in on him. Because of that, when Cudi publicly questioned Lupe’s stuff on Twitter and subtweeted him later- Lupe was furious and felt betrayed.

So Cudi thinks Lupe is bad cause he offered an upfront price for a feature to his fans? And what a fantastic rate! To pay only $1000 to have an artist of Lupe's caliber on your track and on top of that recorded where you choose is an amazing deal. If Cudi wants to judge Lu for this were are all the free features he's handing out?
