Did you know that the English voice actor for March 7th was changed? Andi Gibson provided March's voice during the initial Closed Beta Test (CBT), but some players felt her voice was too high-pitched or nasal. Consequently, they opted to replace her with Skyler Davenport starting from the second CBT. Here's March's previous voice compared to her current one. Andi expressed some disappointment but remained professional, acknowledging that such changes are common during beta testing phases.

They both did a good job, but in my opinion, Andi's voice did indeed sound too high-pitched and forced, while Skyler's voice is lower and more pleasant to listen to. What do you think about it?

It’s not that the other VA was a bad actor or anything, just that Skylar felt more natural for the type of character March 7th is. Some roles you were made to fill, others just don’t vibe well with the set of skills you bring to the table. That’s just how acting is, either you bring a director’s vision of a character to life, or someone else is chosen who can do it better.

Thank goodness they changed. I prefer the new. It's not just the pitch but accent and the way she talks. March 7th has alot of lines and I can't imagine the nightmare if I were to hear the old voice. I mean.. look at wuthering wave's EN Yangyang. The negativity against her voice was so much till it impacted the launch.

Paimon's VA complained that going that low strained her vocal chords, so they let her pitch Paimon up. It's much closer to her natural voice. But I still choose to play it in CN, because I'd rather find what the localization team changed when redubbing/rewriting the lined for a more Murican audience.

I remember her old voice. I got paimon vibes, and while it was not bothering me much like most of the fandom. It felt necessary to change it to make the character feel like march 7th instead of "hey listen" or "let's explore the area up ahead later"
