@@Lastlyy Bhai Virar route ki koi good newz batao na.. Don't have money issue .but yeh Virar to Andheri/churchgate route is painful for commuters.. Pls reply Thnx
I work for Delhi Metro & now posted here to complete mumbai metro project, we are working day & night continuously to finish this project with high quality & safety. We are working really hard to achieve a sustainable & efficient transport system. For those who thinks it's getting late I would like tell them - there are so many issues & technicalities that we face everyday & needs time to be resolved. It's not just govt but we face issues related to common public everyday as if there is temple or masjid on the way in our route then it's gonna take a lot of time to deal with it as people are much connected to religion & we have to make sure Noone gets hurt & work should be done as well. Further type of soil, involvement of local authorities, weather conditions etc effect the time consumed in project so we can't assume metro project should be done in mumbai will take same time as in delhi or Bangalore.I do agree govt plays a significant role as well but there might be some reasons that we aren't aware of,But I assure you when it's done mumbai will be a totally different city. Pollution & traffic gams will get reduced. You can travel on time & much more. I hope this information is helpful. 👷♂️🙏
But still will be far behind Delhi metro network it’s good that Mumbai network will be second largest metro system in future But still doubtful whether all metro project will end on time in Mumbai as because of space as well as bureaucratic problems Good luck to Mumbai 👍
Whether it is delhi or Mumbai or any other city of India these problems are everywhere Even delhi metro had set world records for fast & timely construction but now it is moving with Snails’s pace with its upcoming construction in delhi Maybe Dr shreedharan was the chief of metro at that time who constructed metro system on war basis in delhi Even that time he was supported very well by Sheila Dixit Govt So no construction can be possible without Full Govt support But this time it looks in coming Days Mumbai people are going to benefited a lot in future after all metro line completion 👍 Even Modi Govt is doing very well not for a city but for entire India The Construction which is going on in entire India for highways and other projects is the need of time for all of Us I think these projects will pave the way for future development of India & we all will be beneficial for these things 👍 Our GDP of India will drastically increase India will be put on international map For its development Let’s be hopeful in this new year 👍
Well delhi metro proved the notion wrong Hopefully all of India gets that privilege too Though me seeing navi mumbai being almost ready for years isn't encouraging
Jab ki Mumbai jaisi over crowded city me bohot pahle se hi metro banni chahiye thi. Anyhow wish to complete the network soon. Mumbai doesn't have open spaces like Delhi so it was really a difficult task for Mumbai.
@@MyPunksta Sahi kaha 2014 se pahle bhot kam metro thi ab dekho mostly har state mein h kuch chod ke .UP MEIN toh KANPUR 🚇 Metro, Noida Metro, Lunknow Metro ,Agra Metro (Kanpur and Agra are under construction) 👍
Along with Metro, Mumbai needs RTS system which should connect far stretched cities like Karjat, Virar and Panvel to Mumbai. This will certainly reduce overpriced houses in Mumbai , decongest Mumbai, increase overall connectivity and private transport will surely reduce.
@UDDIPAN MONDAL A small overbridge at Chipyana is pending which would be completed by the end of this year. Moreover an extension (Phase 5) or you may call a branch line of this project which will link Hapur with the Partapur will complete in 2023. But yes the main section is complete with an exception of ROB at Chipyana.
I like maps and plans, the ways of representation is awesome. Wo bhi hamare local places ki, warna aisa repersention sirf foreign country k places ka milta tha. And facts are the aslo very good, history to present👍
All the best to Mumbai... from Delhi. This will improve the development of a particular city & our country as well. This will help India to develop & improve its position in the Human Development Index (HDI) ranking as well. These are all parts of human development.
I'm not Anti Indian...I'm pakka Tamil waala Indian 🇮🇳...I want to say One thing.. Please clear the slum of Dharavi and all people must get Per capita to them...I love india... Jai Hindh
Bro i am from mumbai,ye dharavi mumbai ki growth mai rukavst ban chuka hai, bahot worst hai vaha koi bhi govt dhyan nahi de rahi hai, agar dharavi ho gaya to adha mumbai develop ho jayega
I love to too. The thing is that Tamil Nadu has so much potential as it is also replaced as a manufacturing hub of India and will replace UP and Maharashtra soon. UP and Maharashtra will not give up so easily and even Gujarat will play it's card. But let's see.
Being a Delhi resident and a pro metro user; it's only today that I realised what we have! This made me feel gratitude to the system that we more so often take for granted... Quality work!
I remember 15 years back when I read the master plan for the metro (till line 6), the last line between Kalyan-Thane was expected to begin operation in 2021, rest of them between 2014-2018. I used to think wow it's so far in 2021 (back in 2006) and such a long wait. Totay it's Apr 2021, we still have only line operational and still dreaming for other lines to begin their operation. Our governments are so inept & loaded with bureaucracy. There is a complete lack of professionalism in every govt sector. Doesn't matter who rules (BJP, SS, Cong), every leader is a failure. And we're responsible for this since we're still busy doing our religion/cast mathematics in choosing our leaders.
Same here bro, ek newspaper me aaya tha future mumbai ke infra projects. Vo padh ke to me bachpan me udne lga tha ki meri mumbai esi banegi. And then here we are 😅 still waiting
Atleast you guys are in Mumbai....and still complaining ... Should come and check where Kolkata is far left behind....feels like the city and its suburbs never left the era of 70s or 80s
Although you are somewhat correct,Such projects take time in most countries..Only China is an exception. You need to realise how long we have come from being a poor improvised country till 1991. Also remember we are doing this on our own...not with foreign help..
Other city boy - dreaming about travell in metro in their city. Le me -(delhi boy) :- or kitni metro bichaaogey delhi me. Mere ghar se bhi nikaal do ek line bencho😂😂
@@aky3211 brother But metro provide you rapid and High facilities as compared to local train with minimum cost. In metro you will feel you are luxurious person.
@God help America Cringe Dude when Mumbai Metro gets completed at that Time Mumbai will overtake Delhi also Delhi has metro because it had worst transporation there was a need for the metro not like Mumbai Local understood u fool
@@meramail i am from delhi. i lived in mumbai for 3 years after my college and i felt it was overrated. Its highly underdeveloped city in the name of a metro city. infrastructure is very poor. But I hope metro will change things
We have a fully functional suburban railway network that we didn't allow to rot unlike in Delhi. 200 km to bc 1947 me hi poore hue the. I have travelled to Delhi multiple times since the late 1990s. You have shifted everything to the metro and killed the suburban railway. No genuine connection between Hazrat Nizamuddin and New Delhi, two of India's most important stations. You have to take the 45 minute metro (with a line change) instead of an 8 minute train ride.
I think Mumbai won't be the 2nd largest metro in India coz many of the above mentioned projects are delayed and resently Chennai floated tenders for phase 2 and by 2026 it will have 200+ km of network and Bangalore will have a network of 173km. Mumbai needs to catch up.
Even if Mumbai will not be 2nd largest network of Metro in India, we Mumbaikars will be satisfied with the then existing network, as long it connects every corner of the city. We , Mumbaikars are not for competition. As we have local train and public transport system inter- connecting entire Mumbai
You can't compare these cities with each other because each has developed in different ways. Even if these cities have more metro lines, yet it can't come anywhere near overall Mumbai transportation
@@ramakrishnansubramaniamsub4244 every major city have local trains, but only mumbaikars use them. They are not much used in other cities because other better options.
Back in 1994 , I first saw the board for the new Navi Mumbai airport. For the next quarter century , only the board was there and no sign of the airport and since the last two years even the board is missing ..
all thanks to former CM Fadnavis JI. In a city so much congestion in local trains Metro projects were stuck for decades. Only during Mr.Fadnavis's regime things changed
Congratulations Mumbai! Surely indian metro's will be bigger. Delhi metro 400kms Mumbai metro 250kms Chennai metro 214kms Hyderabad metro 170kms Banglore metro 150+ kms ❤️❤️
Thank you for hopeless governments ( irrespective of any parties) of Maharashtra over the years to put Mumbai behind in major infrastructure projects, metro behind Delhi , airport behind Delhi ,expressway behind Delhi .
Today is 16 july 2023, two days after the Chandrayan 3 launched. After watching this video I went to google maps to see how much it has progressed. and horrified to see that only line 1, 2A, and 7 is operational now, others are still idk where. Im from Delhi and here in my everyday travel, I saw the new Delhi-Meerut RRTS construction, damn it's fast and it will also run the Meerut metro too in Meerut. RRTS 4 stations are about to be operational anytime now, which includes Ghaziabad Station (a very important one). Now in last Phase IV, the pink line soon going to turn into a ring line (believe me this one is a big one). Magenta line to bring an additional 20+ stations soon. Both RRTS and these lines are to complete under 2025. idk why they said 2025 with the current construction speed I think 2024 is the year unless they decide to take a break. And Future plans are even better, two new RRTS to Haryana and Rajasthan are approved, and Delhi Metro along with Noida Metro started planning to make better connectivity to Jewar Airport and Greater Noida. Sry, said too much but I not bragging or such, I thought just like Delhi every city is developing fast in transportation and it is, as I learn about Chennai, Hyderabad, and Bangalore Metro growing at a rapid pace. I thought Mumbai Metro too is going to explode but it seems halted. Uff, I do still think out of all the cities in India Mumbai is the city that deserves a good metro system the most rn and is the only one seemed left behind. I think Mumbai's geography and its area are very challenging to make infrastructural development and such. Anyway, I want Mumbai to grow. If any Mumbaikar, who feels sad after this. You guys got the coolest upcoming highways next, which include the trans-harbor bridge (almost completed) and under construction the coastal road network. Im just jealous of that.
There was a lot of political mudslinging and counter ordering here for the last 4 years....that with the Delays due to COVID, and the general Indian Delays put together all these lines won't be open till 2030....but we do have a very very functional and efficient(not to be confused with comfortable) local train network which is also undergoing upgrades.... hopefully by 2026 lines 2B, 3, 6 9 and 4 are opened as well...the rest will however take a little more time to be completely operational.... And about highways, roads and tunnels...the plans are ambitious and game changing MTHL has been historic none the less...but the others have a threat of being stalled/slowed down on a change of government...also environmental activists...so yeah... you guys also have a more than average road network yourselfs....
*Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata should have been Seperate territory, like delhi, not part of any state.* It would perfectly serve the cosmopoliton culture of the three and would spur innovation.
@@lokeshwaranvr Union territories are much better planned and organised. The problem is, many state governments do not care about urban planning. That is why we don't even have a single world-class city in India.
Delhi Metro is our pride, it's a brand. It connects 6 cities (Delhi, Gurgaon, NOIDA, Faridabad, Ghaziabad, Bahadurgarh) with one another from 3 states (Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana). with 350+ Kms of the track route. Mumbai Metro is way behind.
@@yashkhandare7982 we must fact that mumbai is way behind interms of metro. mumbai suburbs have too much dependency on local trains, and its overcrowded like hell in peak hours. delhi has done remarkable job ✌🏻✌🏻 (from a mumbaikar who has travelled 16+ years as a daily commuter in mumbai local)
@@yashkhandare7982 No! I don't think Mumbai should be proud of its Suburban Railways. I have been to Mumbai 1-2 times (pre-covid) and I have seen how people travel in peak hours. It's mayhem. Many of them have to travel leaning at the doors and completely keeping their body outside the coaches due to crowd and rush, even women have to travel like these, I have seen women traveling in such unsafe condition while wearing _Saaree_ and _Burka_ , which can be life-threatening at some times. These are very scary visuals I have seen and I can imagine myself in such a condition only in a nightmare. You may call the Mumbai Locals (Mumbai Suburban Railways) a #Lifeline but not at all a #Pride. I hope the current and future governments of MH will work on this issue and will make Mumbai one of the best cities in terms of public transport facilities in the world.
These metro line should be being planned and developed way earlier but the ruling shiv sena ruined Mumbai's infrastructure. as a result all u can see mumbai is potholes, illegal slums. ( just watch mumbai from plane and from current metro and monoline)
Iam an Ex-Citizen from Mumbai, living in Hyderabad.I am traveling by Hyb.Metro now. After the Covid outbreak, the services were cancelled and now restarted. But here most people prefer to travel by their own transport..in the present fuel costs..The Metro train still goes 3/4 empty..The only cumbersome thing is the daily Body scanning..which even US,UK,Singapore had removed it..
This is completely untrue. I returned to Hyderabad 6 years after last visiting, when the metro wasn’t even operational still. Every ride I took was nearly full, including on a Sunday. This past Monday, the system broke a new self record with 500k ridership. Not sure what the situation was 1 year ago but it’s very different now
Chennai metro o 2027 nearly 114 km on complete. Now 3rd line on functional on now. Already 2 line on high leve support. 2017 5 lines are started on function. Supper Chennai
Municipal corporation deals with this construction not state government. Maharastra can't interfere with municipality issues. That's why navi mumbai, thane and other cities near Mumbai can't complete their metro work before 2025 cuz they don't come under BMC.
I want to say maharashtra Govn may assign the budget but BMC deals with it. That's how bmc now removed arey colony from metro carshed plan due to forest issue. All plans done according to BMC. Even BJP was with alliance in both bmc and maharastra. Mmrda and mmrlc are ade for Mumbai not for Maharashtra. And first project built when congress was ruling party. Even if u said gadkari I could have accepted but phadanvis never. If bjp will give chance to any other cm they may come once again not in majority but with alliance. Cuz it's now impossible for any party to come in bmc and Maharashtra with majority.
@@Imposter1199 😂😂 once again sena and bjp alliance. Cuz in some other cities of Maharashtra also bjp or congress, ncp has alliance with other opposite parties. All are not good. And can't win in majority in BMC and in State election also. These all politicians and political parties are all same and just need most control in alliance and power when they win.
Maximum Credit goes to Fadanvis.... All line DPR is ready in just 4 Months... Which Impossible for Any others Country atleast 3 Years.... UT ko bolo Covid ko control kare ...Varna Metro mai charne ke liye koi Passenger nahi Bachega....😁😁😁
Mumbai is Wayyyyy behind other cities Other indian cities are performing Way better in Terms of Transportation Chennai , Kolkata and Bangalore have larger Metro Neworks , soon all these cities Will catch up With Delhi But In Mumbai people still travel in StinkyDirty trains With all Paanwalas in Platform
Even though I can only understand whatever he says in english, I still watched the whole thing, the video and the graphics are very well made. Keep going pal!
line 2 yellow and line 7 red are now open to public , it's been in use for couple of months and I am a daily commutant , Line 2 yellow hasn't yet connected to andheri at the moment its been functional upto dhanukarwadi which is in kandivali. But the experience is really good in this . the facilities are really upto the mark. Looking for completition of project
I'm watching this video on Jan 2023. As of now, Metro Line 1, Metro Line 2A and Metro Line 7 are fully operational. Please comment here if any other line will be fully operational so that I will get notification 😎😎...Plz plz don't ignore this comment 🙏
I don't love in Mumbai but still it is so infuriating when projects like these get delays (not including corona induced delay). The people have the right to access good public infrastructure but these corrupt officials eat away the money like termites. I hope the remaining line open on or before 2024.
Maha metro, Delhi metro and Uttar Pradesh metro are very much fast for doing these types of stuff Give them these stuff they will do it before the date
@@Imposter1199 nope this is due to CIDCO and its chutiyapa, Fadnavis tried to save this multiple time. Vasooli is creating problems for line 3 and many more other infra porjects
2:59 Ab yaha koi nahi bolega ki MMOPL me Ambani Ji kyu linked hai Kyunki is project ko Congress ne kiya tha . Matlab congress PPP kare to koi dikkat nahi aur BJP PPP kare to dikkat Vah dogle chamcho vah
Beautiful mode of transport. I am able to view both metro which connects versova to ghatkopar and Gundavali to dahisar from my place bang opposite. A boon for public of mumbai
Let us celebrate 75 years of independence of India and not talk about delhi or Mumbai or any other city Development should be In all cities not in one city to build strong & prosperous India 🇮🇳 Jai hind💪🏻
Line 7 not linking to aqua line ? If so then it's so useless , it's purpose was to reduce train traffic with goes from borivali to churchgate such wasteful projects really.
Make it an end of this City Landscape connecting to an End to End Crypt with the Taluk Centre. Please make an End to End Crypt of the Mumbai Central within this Landscape and connect to the Landsquard in North to South,East to West, North West to South East and North East to South West, South West to South East and North West to North East.
I think Maharashtra wiill have largest metro network after mumbai , pune , nagpur, navi mumbai metro work completion. Nashik neo metro is plannnes but donno if it will get implemented.
I realize now local govt politicians are so much more problematic than those in indian Congress. I have no idea why Bangalore been stuck in development hell when it should have caught up to new Delhi's progress minus the horrible air pollution of course...maybe bcuz the majority of Indian tax rupees either goes towards new Delhi or whereever modi is or Congress is just printing money unknowingly without news getting out to the public or world in which the rupee would hyper inflate leaving north India the upper hand the southern India to fend for itself via local govts.
