MVP makes sense. I think Dallas was a little too shakey throughout the season but Luka is deserving. I though Shai would get it, and he’s also deserving. I think the Nuggets have trouble making the playoffs without Joker, their probably in the play in at best IMO, and I personally think he got snubbed last year, and Embiid was on track to be the MVP this year in my eyes. Shai and Joker would have both made great MVPs. Luka would have been fine. Joker should have 3 in these 4 years so I’m good with it.

Calling them "stats" is a misnomer already. They are "counts" whereas stats should be numbers like FG%, +- etc. Luka is only leading in counts, Jokić is the king of stats. You cannot be MVP and have games with 5 or more consecutive misses (which loses games). The most important thing is recognizing a good shot and then executing it or finding someone with a better shot. I'm not saying Luka is trash, just that Jokić is way better at doing that. Perhaps Luka learns some more and can one day be the "Pravi MVP" (real MVP) as advertised.

Jokic is a great passing Big, one of the best since Wilt and Mikan. But he's playing in the weakest and easiest era for Bigs. Why do you think the last three MVPs were 7 footers? The Lane is non-existent. There is no post play. The other reason he's not an all-time "great" is that he's a total liability on Defense. If I had $100 for every time Anthony Edwards or really anyone flies by him on the way to an uncontested layup I'd have enough to put a down payment on a house.
