This is true. They're useful to pinpoint unhealed wounds so you know which ones to focus on healing. They're kind of like sniffer dogs -- but for pain. Beyond that, I don't have much use for them.

I don’t see it that way. Expecting loyalty, honesty and legitimate regard and love from a romantic partner is not fantastical. And what gets me is that people are still labeling this a personality disorder. It’s not. It’s spiritual. It's a physical manifestation of a spiritual condition. Yes, they've allowed an open door through trauma, and the child only wanting to protect himself / herself of their fragile ego as a self-preservation tactical maneuver due to the trauma inflicted upon them at an early age thus continuing the generational curse. Quite, frankly, highly sensitive persons want to save or fix people like this until we find out that the only person we can control is ourselves. The reason it's difficult is that it's an act of our will to yield to the higher power of Christ and of course the narcissistic person is trying to protect their ego thus preventing them to yield or give way for Christ. They truly do not even know themselves, they gave up on themselves a long time ago, that’s the conclusion to those when they state well, I’m depressed. Total BS. Almost back to my old self again...i had to go through the RINGER so too speak. Been almost 7 months. So many mistakes i made Blocking Unblocking. Blocking Unblocking....No contact. And then Contact. On a message. Seeing her in person Etc...Got her too admit we were never going back to the LOVE RUSHES STAGE. That's what I called it anyway. I use too feel that shit from over the phone...No contact ONCE Again. Lol...Im almost at the finish line after so much LOOKING inwards. I was the Codependent. 1;000s of videos i had to go through. Stay Educated AND Dedicated...keep those breadcrumbs AND your Mountain of lies. Very unhealthy toxic relationship WE had....❤❤❤...
another thing that kept me trauma bonded was the appearance of so much compassion toward me in the early stages reflecting back to me an innocent beautiful amazing version of myself which also is obviously a distortion.
Over time it becomes "the devil you know is better than the devil you don't" with narcissists. They have you believing they are doing you some sort of favor by allowing you to be in their presence and that no one else would ever want you. Then something happens where you finally decide you're ok not dealing with any devils at all. You just have to get away from them and work on yourself.
I only recently discovered something that you talked about near the end of your video. People who suffered trauma as kids, who didn't have a good relationship with their caregivers, spend their adult lives looking for that perfect person to fulfill them, to give them a perfect fantasy. It's sad
I saw this in so many ways while you were talking. Like narcissists doing manipulations to keep them centre of your attention and they prey on vulnerable people and that’s there foot in. It’s must be strange to be a narcissist. I had to go back a few times to hear what you said because I drifted in thinking about how we’re here thinking about the narcissist still. I could of swarm you were going to say they have us trapped by worrying about them and that’s what they want you to fantasize about. Anyhow I have been healthy many times, it’s just when I am vulnerable that need or wish everything is going to be fantastic is at the forefront instead of just being normal. Like this one guy said he had a place for me to rent and he’s never there. I hoped in a taxi with a bunch of my stuff to go see it. But he lied. He moved in so I had to go back to my stressful life. Everything okay now but that wasn’t my last worst move…. It doesn’t stop really until you get a break and regroup. It’s unfortunate the only time we need help is the time you get suckered into things.

Ive been binge watching all your videos for help and guidance. She kept in contact not answering questions and i never got closure. Tonight abused me saying i don't change even though she can see i have been gyming working two jobs and side hustle is flipping houses. I asked a sneaky question saying are you keeping in contact as you want to get back together she replied no i only offer friendship i said not interested in friendship thank you for your closure and good luck goodbye. She showed her true intentions just manipulation and didn't think and without your videos to look out for games and tactics i wouldn't of been able to set her up for her own trap so thank you. This wasn't just one time contact it's been every week she would contact and then ghost me or ignore and not respond to any questions I asked. B tonight she told on herself. Its true they tell on them selves if you listen and stop and see things different. You have really helped me more than i can ever express your a blessing so thank you ❤
Yea always be on the look out for folks who ask questions but never answer any of yours or disregard it. That's strange to me. That's good u are changing, she's trying to keep tabs on you to know what angle to destroy you. U will eventually find a good woman. Don't waste your time w that vampire

Yes, sometimes I hear a song, a country song, and I’ll remember that fantastical feeling I had with him in those first couple months. I will cry, because it really was so beautiful and fun & it felt really really safe, finally. But then I moved away with him, and the triangulation, fault finding, silent treatment came.
We remember how we felt .. of course our mind will drift to the fun, safe, and amazing experiences and almost as a protective measure our mind will minimize the pain. I try to remind myself.. I miss feeling xyz- not him.

We know the narc’s pattern now. The more important question at this point is what is your pattern? I say that w much love in my heart for anyone who has dealt w any narcs. We all have a pattern. I was so focused on the narc, for a while I forgot I, too, have a pattern (one I needed to change) and I, too, have needs. It’s a good place to get to ✌️
That's the key isn't it. Not focusing on them and there pattern. But more of how we get involved in such places because of our own shit. When you can start applying your thinking to that instead.. I think in the future it protects us from getting involved with such people in the future

Still with my covert narcissist. The 17th this month will be 19 years married. 23 years together 2 kids. I am empath thought at first I was supposed to help him but I know now I can’t help someone that doesn’t see a problem with self cause they think they are better smarter. He told me he didn’t care about the truth and I didn’t need to preach to him or tell him anything. Trauma bond I have trying to break it. I love him but not the same way as I did. Cause deep inside me I know he doesn’t love me is all conditional love. In his eyes sex fixes everything but I told him we have tried that over and over it doesn’t fix anything for me. So he isn’t happy cause I am not feeding him anymore. It’s hard but I am over being emotional abused. Thanks for sharing ❤

my narc would watch the same thing over and over every night! He would listen to the same music and get mad at my music choice. I realized that all the shows and music he listened to were media that came out when he was about 15, I realized that was the age he was stuck at. There was nothing inside. He was stuck in time
Hi joe, I recently broke up with my fiance. We have been together for a decade. For the past 6 months, I stumbled upon the concept of narcissitic abuse, and it felt like it made too much sense. Since then, the pattern has become obvious to me, like taking the red pill. My sense of reality is still pretty shattered, and I initiated the break up after another expected devalue after some minor hole I drilled in the wall. That was the final straw again. I wanted to say thank you, since finding your videos two weeks ago, you are my favorite person to listen to speak on the topic, because your voice is pleasant and relaxing. I'm doing my best not to fall prey to the hoover. I remained alone in our apartment we moved to an year ago and will need to find a way to survive. Sometimes the temptation to go back again creeps in, but now I feel like a sucker if i will do that, speaking from experience.

What trauma bond? Kinda feels like they are the only one trauma bonded, except for my marriage. That bond was sanctioned by God and the breaking was indescribably painful and devastating, as it should be. Otherwise, none. When your spouse of 2 decades, who happens to be a mega-church pastor, with whom you share precious children, and co-built a ministry and a financially secure future, can kick you to the curb, after representing well in front of eighty thousand people for 2 decades, as well as priorly (my entire life history, by the help of God), with zero accountability, your last name might be affiliated with a cult. I wish I had known one Christian from Second Baptist Church-this wouldn't have lasted 16 weeks, much less 16 years. It would have taken about one day and several strong men to make sure the bullies were held financially accountable (forget spiritually in that setting), i.e. didn't come for me, considering not me, but the fact that I have two children, also known as the pastors' kids. Did anyone from the cult inspire them to go to church? They were children. If it could happen to me, the missions pastor could bury his wife in the backyard, and no one would ask.
